Mai's not bad, but the show is clearly pushing him towards Reina with the OP and their general character interaction.

I'm so shocked majority of the votes is Reina so far haha, was expecting Mai to be in top spot for Haruhiko. I'm glad though, because Reina is the best match.

But, of course fully expecting Mai because it's always what happens in anime.

Yet, as much as I like Mai, still hoping for Reina

Ruru reflects "the oppressed" wild part of Haruhiko
thats why i think Mai would complete Haruhiko in a relationship because he need that more than a quiet Reina, i mean maybe thay fit together but they dont complete them self together as Mai would did with Haruhiko (:
Oh and Mai cares so good for Haruhiko she understand him and allways puts a eye on him ( Can I say so in English? )

i prefer all happy so Harem ending (its anime after all so at least one place were we can see all happy at the end) :D

i have seen this before it doesn't look much like romance anime & doesn't have romance tag but in the end MC gets the girl (if not s1 then in s2 or s3 or when ever the story ends) + what sukisukine said

Why Reina, you would ask?

Because, Reina might actually have feelings for Haruhiko, and it is shown that Haruhiko often blushes whenever he's with Reina. Also, the encounters they had together was just adorable.

It’s the comments that supprise me as the votes go toward Mai witch I voted for and no it’s not for the boobs as everyone who disagrees with me seems to think and in the opening it doesn’t really lean towards anyone just because Reina and Haruhiko are together in one scene doesn’t mean anything heck it even implies he’s sketching mai. For the personality Reina may have some feelings but the show tend to make them seem very one sided as Haruhiko seems to see her as family so they do have a close bond a matching personalities but so does Mai even more so as the feelings are felt on both sides and haven’t ever heard the classic phrase opposites attract. For the show the like the whole last 5 eps were about Haruhiko and Mai and/or their relationship being clear and relevant don’t forget who Haruhiko is often shown carrying for, Mai and even in the OVA it was prominent don’t forget his reaction to the idea of her in swimsuit on the bus and the whole bridge moonlight scene and for my last point which I didn’t want to make as it goes against what I said first her appearance 😅, every time we see Haruhiko’s preferences to wards women caugh caugh the erm “dirty” magazines they all have held traits which Mai has so there is a physical and emotional attraction between the two so it seems the most likely and best character wise solution is this. I do agree with most of the Reina points as they do make sense but this is my opinion and sorry for the rant I don’t know when to stop talking sometimes 😂.

no girl will die.. mostlikely people presuming things since there is no actual translate..
for what i understand from the little information i get.. one of noticeable character that died is sousuke.. and again all this dark scene is happen in alternate univerese with alternate haruhiko later be called fake haruhiko..
LN Vol2..(but u probably will never find this animated since anime already deviated from the LN and this behavior can gurantee u of no S2 or sequel, if u wondering.. i think in original LN its not enigma.. but somehow they play about the same role and part.. actualy in alternate universe she is winning with the help of the main vilain which is my fetiss girl from original world and everything turn in to dark scene from there..)

there is people who say the girl who win is reina.. but end up somekind in harem.. mean reina confess then not rejected.. but there is also 2 other girl who live with haruhiko..(not confirmed)
there is a date with koito but its more like a twist and thats happen in alternate universe..its actualy a double date for sousuke new girlfriend..alas that is sousuke last date...

since i have fetiss for yandere girl.. i ve no prefferable waifu.. but with the chemistry that has been build up in anime.. its already clear they intend to ship reina and haruhiro.. mai look more like onesan..

but anything can happen.. if u familiar with Katsuhiko Takayama works.. he tend to not chose the girl with the best chemistry.. he even resorting in to ntr with destroying aldnoah.. but there is always ppl who love those kind of twist.. so who knows :).. but i rather no author including musaigen is gonna follow this guy footstep..

Shows more chemistry wth Reina? Since ep1 it's been mai and haruhiko. Then Everyone else.... To the very end u see them start developing somewhat of a romantic feeling for each other. But this wasn't a romance anime so ofc they just brush that off..
