Counters are people who were in comas that accepted a contract with a spirit to fight evil spirits. The uncanny counter is this kid who wasn't in a coma. They don't know why he was able to merge with a spirit.


I think you're right. If they're in color, that leaves a little less to the imagination and makes it easier to read. Also it's more familiar to us in the West that read graphics or comics.

Someone posted a link for a webtoon of a Korean show I watched and am waiting for part 2. Turned out to be the manhwa. I found it funny that I started reading a manhwa and probably finish it before any of the manga I have ever started just because it's in color. smh

You think so? At first I wanted to blame the budget […], but seeing that they forced four volumens of the novel into a single 12 episode anime... Shinka no Mi adaptation was dead before borning. Although I did like the music of both: opening and ending.

About the Realist Hero… Sorry, I haven't read neither the manga nor the novel, so I can't speak; however, I bet there is more explanation on the intelligence gotten to take the decisions. But in contrast with Shinka, Realist Hero had a better animation and direction.

Talking about Realist Hero, it was so hard to watch the scene with the "carpets"… I burst in laughs even before the characters began to speak.

Also, I can't believe Shinka no Mi also got a second season… I love the novel, but the anime was so damn poor done, that it was close to a torture for me. (ToT) give me back my hope.

Actually, "I die and reborn in 'a game'" is a fair isekai trope. It is not when they can log out of the game at pleasure.
With this said, I label the first arc (Aincrad) of SAO as an isekai, but from the second on, it is not.

I would kill for that second season… Although, I heard in a review that the reason it never came up was because of the novel being quite boring, that it was the adaption work which make it so cool. Have you read the novel? Since I'm just repeating what I heard.

And just out of curiosity, in which team are you: "SAO is an isekai" or "SAO isn't one"?
