I don't remember what was 100th or 500th, but for 1000th I ended up with Unnamed Memory.  There were some glaring issues with narrative and pacing, but I loved the main couple so much, I really enjoyed this anime despite everything else. I might even give its source material a try even though I don't read light novels. That being said, my 1000th anime is most likely going to end up a memorable one for me. So how about you? |

| I 'recently' hit 500th completed one, but I already forgot which one it was :P You can't look it up here on MAL, can you? Unnamed memory for 1000th, oof... :P I wasn't a fan of the story pacing and dialogue interactions between the 2. The girl was somewhat interesting, main reason why I gave it a shot. The dude didn't fit the girl imo. I red here somewhere the manga is much better, so in the end I dropped the anime. I doubt I'll read the manga, my reading list is already quiet packed. |

| Arete Hime was my 1000th. I was planning on making Index my 1000th but as I got into the groove of binging shorts I realized I wouldn't be able to line up Index for my 1000th at the pace I was going so settled for a movie. I didn't really like Arete Hime. If you look through my list right now Kogepan is the 1000th earliest anime I've completed, but that's because MAL sometimes deletes entries, merges them with other entries, or reopens entries if new episodes are released. https://myanimelist.net/stacks/32631 I have a list for all my milestones, which I count for every 250 anime I watch. |

| I just reached that a few months ago, and I honestly don't remember. I'll know what my 1,040th one will be though. @Kenzolo-folk you will if you keep watching. It took over 10 years, but it happened to me. Anyone want to know how to avoid it as long as possible? Take forever to finish things and avoid really short series, OVAs and specials, because all that little stuff adds up. |

@Kenzolo-folk considering you are only 17 years old you would only need 8 years if you watch only a single cour per week (which is 4-5 hours of the 168 hours of the all week). With you being young unless you drop anime as hobby entirely it's highly possible and feasible.
| @Otakupervert890 theres absoloutely no way in hell i would choose to sit through 4-5 hours a week on anime. i think at the rate im going i would at most finish 3 animes a year, which is ideal for me. for manga its different though, i prefer that. |

| If my counting and record-keeping are correct (results may vary based on what MAL does or does not consider anime, and how specials* and such are split out), it's And Yet the Town Moves, on October 18th, 2012. * For instance, I know that the DearS special wasn't counted, possibly among others. But it's pretty likely that the 1000th anime was completed sometime in October 2012, plus or minus a week or so. |

| The 1000th anime I marked as completed is T.P Bon, but only because I just found out that MAL decided to make a separate entry for the upcoming second batch of episodes and change the status of the first batch from "currently airing" to "finished airing". So the real 1000th is actually the 999th, the Sumomomo Momomo Specials. I loved the characters, I just wished the anime had better production value or less dumb plot points when things start getting serious. |

| If we're talking about TV anime series, I feel like I reached that milestone sometime in Winter or Spring season. Just based on that, I feel it's a 2025 show, but I would actually love to know myself for certain, lol. |
