I think you will really like it, just expect there to be a lot of misunderstandings. I say that as a warning because some people can't stand anime that have a lot of those. 🤣

Cool! The reason I asked is because Rumiko also has another anime that is a bit more lesser known called Maison Ikkoku. It basically plays like A slice of Life romance with some comedic elements thrown in from time to time for good measure. If you've never heard of it and it sounds like something you'd be into, I highly recommend checking it out! Here's the opening to the first season:

I'm assuming you probably already know this, but they also did a remake for Urusei Yasutra. Much like with Ranma I haven't seen the remake, however from what I've been hearing through the grapevine it's been very well received. If you're looking for more of a take on action and mythology from Rumiko, then yeah Inuyasha is a pretty safe bet. And best of all it finally concluded via a movie not that long ago that came out. Tied up some loose ends.

Dang that is disheartening to hear, though at the same time not surprising. Censorship strikes again. Have you ever heard the fourth opening to the series? I think that was the best one in my opinion.
