You'll probably have even more fun rewatching it with the blu-ray version. Tbh for me Akudama drive is by far the biggest example of a show that got better with rewatches for me, I've seen it 4 times now, ended up liking it more and more with every rewatch. It went from a high 7 to a solid 10, which is a huge jump for me. I would obviously never tell someone to watch the show 4 times cause that's just unreasonable lol, but I am saying this to say it will be a worthwhile rewatch!
Once you start to think about the implications of Kanto, the way "Akudama" are created, the bunny and shark propaganda programs, just how controlled their society is even down to it's deepest layers, and stuff like that, you really can't unsee just how well put together the world really is. Specially for a show that is super fast paced, handles a dozen great character arcs and dynamics, while pulling off multiple distinctly different tones and genres all in only 12 episode!
The censored violence is also pretty distracting on the Crunchyroll version, but what can you do. It's a real shame that they still haven't got the rights to stream the bluray version. I know it's not a mainstream show or anything, but it did pretty well for being an original. I think with good marketing and a small push it could be just as big as cyberpunk.
Hope you enjoy! Keep an eye out for the details and subtle world building, characterization and foreshadowing stuff too. Despite being a bat shit insane action ride with cool and edgy characters, it has a lot of meat to it's bones and can be surprisingly nuanced.
