| Well the Chinese girls make their appearance tho in bad shape. And Enterprise still has a lot of things to learn about life it seems Belfast helping her out was nice but i because of that we had to much Belfast in this episode. We had some Warspite to compensate it tho. And seeing Hammann annoyed is always a good thing. Belfast is strong in game but she is a maid and a to serious one at that which makes her annoying. |

I didn't expect Hamman to have so much time on screen but I'm glad, I really like Hamman. Huh, I hadn't realized until now that Unicorn's dress was transparent... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Laffey's giving me diabetes. Ohhhhhhhhhhh Ping Hai and Ning Hai. <3 I fucking love Belfast!  |

| I really like Enterprise as the main character. At first glance it may seem retarded that she goes out there and fights even when her equipment is so messed up that she's more of a hindrance than a help on the battlefield, but this episode shows that this is due to her guilt at not having been able to protect her sister during Midway. She probably has a mental illness or at least a mental block because of that, which is preventing her from staying out of action even when she needs to. And on the topic of Yorktown... I guess this confirms that no character will die in the anime? Yorktown is supposed to be dead and sunk, not just crippled. A bit unfortunate that they have chosen to go this route instead of just killing the ships off. |

| Rofl, Sandy getting attacked by an actual shark. Saratoga using her magical girl form to save her but they didn't animated, much sadness. Though we got to see some of their swimsuits from the game, that was nice. I guess that's one way to put them in. Hood needs more voice lines and her oath skin. |

| I didn't expect the Chinese sisters to make an appearance but seriously what's the heck is plot? Is there even one? I kinda wish they just ditched the 'plot' and stuck with fanservice, each episode(s) dedicated to ships in each nation (including the Sirens and Bullins). I feel like that would've worked better than whatever the heck is going on now. The game doesn't have much of a plot anyway, no need for the anime to do the same. |

| At first, I wasn't going to watch this show, just because I looked at the poster and thought this series will be a mediocre show with pantsu shots. And yes it basically is one. But here is a twist this show is based on the game and I haven't played it. Maybe for this fact I do not appreciate this show and on the verge of dropping it. But any good adaptation has to stay on its own, separately from the source material. You know hove most anime are basically advertisements for the manga, if a person watched the show he will check out what is next and not gonna wait for a year or more till next season. Azure Lane does not sell me the game and it feels like some inner content for game fans. And it is a shame. I still think if I should drop it or not, but for now, I give it a chance.  |

| Best episode so far IMO (granted, we are only 3 episodes in but still). We got a good mix of more serious interactions between Enterprise, Belfast and Yorktown (and the Chinese sisters to a lesser extent) and more lighthearted beach scenes. Also, I just gotta say this episode was BEAUTIFUL. Great water backgrounds and the lighting was very pretty, especially the sunset at the beach and the final storm scene, very nice to look at. The animation is still quite good but with some drops in quality like with Unicorn talking to Enty. Overall, I loved the episode. Also Hammaann is top tier Destroyer, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.  |

| Beach episode already? The characters, the world and the plot could be summarized in one sentence. People are dropping this show faster than Nevada can say "SHOUNEN!" on your event pulls. I hope they could make this show better. |
| Cute girls doing cute things and some fighting episode ,,My lesbians where going to the beach and had some fun in the sun!! And almost got eaten by a fucking shark! I was very impressed over the animation especially in the sunrise and the water look stunning!! And to my huge enjoyment my main waifu Unicorn presented herself and show me her panties!!,,, YES!!!Very good anime you seem to understand me and perverted needs!!That is what she is there for! Its was brilliant best scene so far!!!! I have no clue on what is going on ,But obviously you smoke a whole loot of fucking crack in Japan!! Ship girls sirens aliens million things going on,Never been more confused,, But never mind! You can do your stupid crap anime!!, As long you keep lewd the shit out of my gorgeous Unicorn Im going to be happy as a fish in the water. Or as a ship on the beach I guess!! | Pretty awesome and beautifull episode, the background designs and animation are really so good damn! After belfast save Enterprise the Royal Navy main fleet made quite an awesome entrance! San Diego being attacked by a shark was really funny! Also is nice to see Royal Navi reunion, whwn we could see each diferent personality from all of them, specially Illustious! Belfast got a lot of screen time i really enjoyed that, and seems while in her mission she understand how is Enterprise and got interested in her! Also Unicorn thanking Enterprise was really adorable! Seems Ping Hai and Ning Hai made their entrances! |

| Honesty, most charathers I still really can't name at all, but atleast I can enjoy all the designs of the girls ships interacting with each other and that's allright aswell. :-) Just pick your favorite girl(s) ship(s) and start protecting those like we do with any other waifu show, you filthy weebs. :-P But I know we need to hold on to your butts, because I fel it's going to be a bumby ride for the next episodes. |

| Great episode again, this just keeps impressing on all levels. Color me pleasantly surprised. First of all, thank you for all the glorious service and shots. Loving all the close up shots of Belfast and her grins. Enterprise is great too, every episode makes me love her more. If only I can get her in the game sooner. Unicorn has a transparent dress? Now that's something. Swimsuit were great, needed more Hornet though, would've loved some Enterprise and Belfast service too. XD Not familiar with Ping Hai and Ning Hai yet since it's only been a week since I started the game. The production continue to be fantastic, the art is beautiful. I hope we get more Crimson Axis screentime. |

| The obligatory beach/fanservice episode. BOY am I not surprised. But it's good that as much as it serves as filler for the production team to concoct some story just to bash some extra time, hope there's some plot in the mix for the remainder. |

| Based on a popular mobile game, there's not much to see from this anime. Only fans and players of the game will enjoy this more than non-players. Pretty much the story is still the war between Sakura, Iron Blood vs Royal & Eagle Union. |
| I don’t play the game and I’m enjoying the series quite a bit. I’m hoping Kongō will so up so I can compare Azur’s take with the other 2 shipgirl series. So far Hornet is my favorite. |
| Enterprise is the best for me. I liked how she saved the Hai siblings. The visuals are great for this except the story is vague. I guess this was only created for action and fanservice, nothing more. |

This week was the breather the show needed, and with the main ships of Royal arriving, we have a fuller faction hierarchy's dynamic to play around which helped center the plot. Still, a lot of fun cameos as usual, but i think they were a lot more refined this time (the lunch scene was super comf - and the two battlecruisers together in the background was a nice touch #notfavouritism. The constant Hamann bullying, Hornet getting around) Feels like we've moved through Enty's backstory and angst in good form this ep - Belfast as her partner works really well. Also an appreciative shoutout to all the small historical details that made it in (the rations, car, etc.) Meeting Ping/Ning in the storm was a bit of a surprise - and using them as the easy tie-in to Enty/York was a clever decision. Having the combined lead of Enty / the DDs seems to be rounding out the narrative pretty well, and it's nice to see Ep looked great all around, perhaps in part thanks to the lesser action and the storm adding a welcome masking dynamism to the 'battle'. Overall, the character interactions felt a lot more concrete and well utilised this ep. (Did Belfast and Enty just have a whole conversation using game quotes!?) |

| Good good, the characters are getting fleshed out more. Also, while Lexington isn't dead, she seems to be very bed-ridden. Might be missing her legs too, we'll see where they take that. I'd like to see some more development on the Axis side as well. Like, a whole episode from their point of view, just to get to know them more and see what drives their actions. |
| I watch Azur Lane honestly just for the Royal Navy characters. and since they start to arrive, I think they're going to be in action later on. I wanted to see Hood vs Bismarck fight, after all, she is my number 1 favourite character. As long they show Royal Navy characters each episode, it's enough reason for me to go and keep watching it. I don't really care about Enterprise |

| As a player of the game for about 1 year now, I have to say that I'm rather elated that the anime somehow can mix the slice-of-life story (thank God they showed the beach episode earlier so hopefully the rest of the episodes will be filled with the actual story) and the drama that ensues around Enterprise's lack of self-preservation. And I wouldn't lie, when the storm ensued, I have this queasy feeling about how the story might go in the next episodes, but maybe that's just me. It's like the upcoming battles will be far direr than anything that we've seen before. |

| A relaxing episode. It's kind of what I expected in most anime after a major fight. I kind of feel bad for Cygnet though since Saratoga is always doing her thing. Sandy is still a meme. It also seems that this story will be about Enterprise but Belfast is keeping a really sharp eye on her in the process. Too bad we still don't know about Enty's motivations but it seems that an incident with Yorktown really affected her. Another thing I noticed is that each faction will have their own theme. Basically, in the Asur lane Hammann blames herself for not being able to protect Yorktown. Damn, that was some interesting WW2 lore right there. Thanks! |
| Prinz wants to fight Belfast, but forced to retreat because a large Royal Navy fleet is coming. Laffey wags off water like a dog. :heh: Queen Elizabeth is so kawaii. Enterprise is suicidal going into battle when she has no more offensive capabilities, even a siren with one gun can beat her in that situation. Good thing Belfast is there to rescue her. looking forward to next week! :) |

Gorgeous cinematography, proper character introductions and development minus all the pandering, and a steady consistent mix of lighthearted interaction thrown in with the rapid action we expect out of this bullet hell game. Fantastic episode. I won't get my hopes up to high in case things don't continue to turn out for the better, but really, this episode impressed me. I'm really enjoying myself so far. Lastly and additionally... BELFAST PACKING SOME C R A Z Y H E A T. CAN YOU REALLY BLAME BEING AS DISTRACTED AS I WAS. BEST EPISODE WITH BEST SHIP BEING INTRODUCED. WHAT A COINCIDENCE. |

| It's always nice to have a relaxing episode like this every now and then, but I'm happy to see this type of episode earlier on than what I'm used to, which might mean more episodes later on will be more story driven. Belfast is one very likeable girl. She saved Enterprise from last week and wasn't intimidated by Prinz Eugen whatsoever. Not only that, but she doesn't hesitate in criticising Enterprise for her stubborn recklessness and warned her that she might lose her way of fighting if she's not careful in the future. Her smile is super sexy, though. =3 Speaking of sexy, the relaxing part of the episode was with some of the girls having some fun at the beach and I find it ironic that Laffey looks more covered up with her swimsuit than her usual outfit. As for San Diego, she caught the attention of a shark that tried to eat her, so she ended up being saved. XD Still, I still enjoy seeing the wonderful fanservice with the girls while playing in the water in their bikini outfits (Hammann and Laffey's bikini's was my favourite of the lot), but a nice bonus, for me at least, was seeing Unicorn having fun in the water and noting that her dress was transparent, so we could see multiple shots, including a close-up, of her cute briefs being flashed a few times. X3 But that fun time ended and we got back to serious stuff where Enterprise went again, despite her injuries, and encountered Ping Hai and Ning Hai, who took damage after defeating some Sirens, but one of them was still active, so Enterprise tried to attack, but unsurprisingly, her weapons failed on her again, which meant that Belfast had to save her once more. So overall, this episode had a good mixture of relaxation, serious moments and some sexy fanservice as well. Plus, the visuals and the background detailing was the best I've seen of this series so far. It looked really lovely. ^_^ |
| That Ark Royal in the background in cafeteria checking out destroyers lol They animated some of the beach skins, nice! Enterprise going full edgyprise mode I see. Can't say I'm surprised, that was to be expected, but it's stilll annoying. I wish that was just full SoL anime. |
