| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I'm definitely getting more used to the slime's voice now. Veldora is still pretty damn amusing to watch with its personality and the way he reacted. Also got to see the MC demostrate more of its abilities. He even got the name "Rimuru" this episode. I also find the amount of mechanics kinda interesting considering how much he can do as a slime. Also about time we meet some of the other adventurers in the world. Goblins make their appearances too! We're getting more and more content introduced in this series. |

| Whilst a bit of a slow episode, this is definitely rising up to my spot for favorite anime of the season if it keeps up quality and adaption. I've said it before but how they're handling the skill system in animated format is so simple yet great. I'm not sure about the light novel but so far the anime's only adapted 2 chapter so far, with this episode doing a bit of ch1 and all of 2. Hoping it picks up the pace a little bit. |

| Slower pace than I expected. I am quite confused where this will end. Maybe they'll take their time for main story stuff and rush through all the slice-of-life stuff to leave that as manga exclusive content like I thought. The visual representation of Rimuru's emotions was a little bit too over the top for me at some points, but other than that a very solid adaptation that doesn't leave out anything important. Nothing more that I as a WN and manga reader can ask for. One thing came across a bit weird though. The narration part about "but Rimuru wasn't aware of that at the time", which was a slightly different voice where I am not sure if that's Future!Rimuru talking about himself or another character or just random narrator voice... |

| Pretty good OP. It was nice seeing the two forge their first friendships. Interesting that the goblins are shown as intelligent beings here that are capable of speech. The loss of Veldora sure put the goblins in dire straits. Looks like first quest for Rimaru will be saving the village by killing the direwolves. Quite an entertaining episode and it was funny seeing Rimaru gain so many skills in such a short amount of time while also exploring and improving them. Now that he's out im curious to see what happens next. |

| I was honestly surprised to see that the visuals for this episode were as strong as the first one. Rimuru singing along while looking for a way out of the cave was fun, and the monsters were also visually pleasing. In general, I have mostly good thoughts about this episode if you exclude the pace. I thought I wouldn't have any problem with it after watching the first episode, but I'm starting to think I was wrong. At this rate, I'm not sure if I'll be able to stick till the end. I feel like this anime is trying to tease me by stretching events as long as possible. |

| The series is getting better. I was posetive on the last episode, so i loved this one as well! Not the best of the season, which, in my opinion is Golblin Slayer. But still great series nontheless! 2ep 8/10 |

As a WN/manga reader I can say yes, it is. However it has become even harder to predict where this 24 episodes season will end. I don't quite remember if it was ever outright revealed whose aura it is, but just based on the fact that all the Goblins seem to be aware of what the aura of Veldora feels like, considering it had been present up until recently, I think it's safe to say that the aura was probably Rimuru's own aura. Also, I can finally use Rimuru's name instead of having to talk around it all the time because it wasn't said in the first Ep. |

| I feel like I've watched something different than most people commenting so far. This episode was tediously boring. Some heavy handed exposition, then faffing around in the cave and then [eeep!]ing moe goblins. And not a single reason to give any damn. |

| I really am loving this. First of all the tsundere dragon is just too good. And then Rimuru leaving the cave with his aura open for all to see and all those goblins bowing down to a mere slime, hilarious <3 |

consuming Veldora he became as powerful as him since he can mimic. And his Predator skill is too OP. Honestly wish people would forget goblin slayer and how it portrayed goblins and remember Tensei slime's version of them :) they are nice and loyal. Remember its all about perspective. |
| Wasn't sure what to expect with this show, as I haven't read any of the Manga or the light novel, but I'm impressed. Good first few episodes and the pace seems great. Did notice one thing. By eating monsters he can mimic them and in the opening he seems to change into a human, actually looks like it might be a human girl, I wonder if that means he eats a woman? cos that would be a bit messed up. |

| Not as impressive as the first episode (certainly not to the extent other people seemed to think), but a decent effort either way. The goblins were odd to see brought in, but it's no surprise Rimuru has taken over the tribe to save them from the direwolves. |
| Predator and Great Sage skills are quite handy huh. Rimuru becomes the guardian of the goblins. Ending theme was nice. |

| It's funny we have an anime with bunch of cute precious Goblins that need to be protected, and another anime with bunch of evil / disgusting/ cunning Goblins that need to be slain airing side by side this season :P Also we have the best Tsundere of the year = Tempest Dragon :D Also we can already tell this Slim is literally Kirby in a nutshell, but can retain more than one skill/ form = more op Kirby. Kirby is known for having infinite stomach,can goble anything regardless of size/ property, absorbing their abilities in the process, etc , etc. |

| The episode remains slow in the narrative rhythm, but at the level of the story there is no narrative hole, everything has an explanation, I really appreciate this thing. The characters are always fun, I love them already! Drawing and animations of good quality, the Goblins, are so cute, that to rethink those seen in "Goblin Slayer", I feel a little remorse for how they were slaughtered. ^^" |

| At this pacing, it will probably end with the Orclord at episode 12 and then the skywhale at episode 24. I absolutely love the pacing and it includes enough details. You posted in a forum in which people can respond. You in fact did ask for opinions by default. Also, while the pacing might seem slow, if you at all had read the manga or LN, you would understand why. Either way, your choice if you wish to continue or not. |

| I liked this more than the first episode. It was interesting to see Rimuru get all those new skills and watching him fight the direwolves should be fun next week. |

| Yay friendly not edgelord goblins... Anyway, well, stuff happened. Pretty visuals straight out of Neir:Automata... I'm finding this show to be- much like the LNs- pretty boring so far. It's not so over-the-top bad that I want to throw up but I digress. The sad thing is that I'd pre-order ten copies of a videogame just like this, but as a thing to watch a boring other person play as, nope. It's still better than the other show that has goblins in it. How much loner until Best Girl Milim... |
