| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Whis still quite relevant this season~ So we got Goku and Vegeta visiting a strange place with hourglasses everywhere. Weird. Beerus also spotted but snoozing around. Is it also just me or does Vegeta's outfit look kinda...weird compared to normally? At least the color part. About time we see Whis in a little bit of action. |

| Not a really good episode, and the quality of the animation was bad. At least we saw the fat beerus, wonder what is going to be his role? Also, we officially start freeza saga, probably goku and vegeta are going to reach SSGSSJ next episode. |

| Fun ep ^^ Vegeta and Goku changing Beerus's sheets was so lol I guess we're starting the Fukkatsu no F already. Hopefully Goku vs Frieza will have good animation and without as much CG as the movie. Liking the voices for Champa and Whis's sister. |

| 18. I've Come Too! Training Begins on Beerus' Planet! Original Airdate: November 8, 2015 Barely able to endure his full bladder, Goku arrives on Beerus' planet. He is greeted by Vegeta, who is now able to sense god ki. While Whis goes off with the Oracle Fish to eat some sweets Vegeta introduces Goku to....housework! Among other chores, the two must change the sleeping Beerus' bedding, which proves easier said than done. Only when all of their chores are finished will the two train with Whis, training that includes drastic consequences for failure. Still, the saiyans move forward. That night Whis explains to the Oracle Fish that they must grow stronger in their base forms, something they've already realized. After a brief sparring match against them the following day Whis explains the two are still thinking too much before striking, something even Beerus hasn't mastered completely. In outer space a man named Sorbet is commanding the remnants of Frieza's troops. Suddenly, his ship is blown back by a beam of light. A man named Champa, who looks like a fatter Beerus, is alerted by a woman named Vados, who greatly resembles Whis, that they've arrived at their destination. Champa has Vados destroy a planet after she briefly protests he should do it himself. Apparently not getting Champa's desired result, the two move on to another location... Well we're really into Resurrection F now! :D Goku got his outfit from that film this week, and Whis' final lesson was pretty much lifted word for word from the film, poop joke and all! :D The poop reminded me of Dr. Slump...classic Toriyama. :D I also found the housework scenes pleasantly reminiscent of what Roshi had Goku and Krillin doing waaaay back in Dragon Ball. The milk deliveries, plowing the fields bare-handedly, etc...this series certainly knows how to borrow from the best! :D So Sorbet and his lot are here, and Frieza's back next week going by the preview, as expected. And finally, most importantly, we see Champa and Vados. I was delighted to hear Nico Robin's va is Vados. :D Champa sounded good too of course. Looks like this appearance is just a tease, for now, but the hype is real! :D What are they after? Manga readers might know....;) Rating: 7/7 This Week in Buu: Not seen. Did You Notice?: We see Champa and Vados destroy a planet this week. A few episodes back Kibito Kai showed concern over vanishing planets, but Beerus' was ultimately blamed....hmmmm.... Next: Resurrection |

| This episode sure had a nice Dragon Ball atmosphere. Just regular house work. Champa and Vados, I wonder if they will play a role in the FnF arc. Sucks that we'll have to see Gohan again, since most of us know what went down with Gohan in the FnF movie. |

| Finally an episode without much focus on food. There were a few funny moments, and the training looks interesting. I wonder what these other versions of Beerus and Whis are all about. |

| From the looks of it, it seems as if Vegeta unlocks SSJGSSJ on his own or could there be a new way to unlock it without the ceremony? From the flow of this weeks and next weeks episode, we're almost jumping right into familiar waters with the start up of RoF. Hopefully we get to see how Vegeta did it. That's what I've been looking out for. Also, LOVE the voices for Champa and Vados. I'm liking the minor differences between Super and the movies. |

| This was an alright episode. I like training episodes like this. Also, hmmm... those two characters at the end looked almost like Whis and Beerus, but they had different names? Perhaps they're from some alternate dimension? Also, Frieza in the next episode preview. I'm guessing they're going to be re-treading "Resurrection of F"? Well, I haven't seen the movie version, so it'll all be new content to me, anyway. :) |

| Welp, so this intense 'training' involves doing housework, huh? Seeing Vegeta in that pink apron is just so awkward I can't even... The first half of the episode was somewhat funny, seeing Goku and Vegeta struggle to change Beerus's bed sheets. Looks like Whis purposefully increased the weight of that 'barbell' object for Vegeta probably because he's already accustomed to carrying it. Gotta admit I'm really digging Vados's character design. A possible evil female Whis look-a-like character? Yes, please ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°) Let's see how Champa and Vados affect the Freiza arc next. |

| This episode really brings back memories. Just like Goku and Krillin trained together, now Goku and Vegeta are. Pretty fun episode overall. They looked so silly with those aprons haha. |

| [English Dub] 7.5/10 The scene with Goku and Vegeta changing Beerus' sheets was pretty fun. And it was fun to finally see a little more of their training with Whis compared to the movie. ... I really hope we see more of that though. Looking forward to the Resurrection of F arc. Hope it's better than the movie but. So far DBS hasn't been better with Toei's horrible failed/flawed art design and special effects and exaggerated difference of the characters like Goku being overly dumb and Chi-Chi being overly aggressive. ... Might start reading the manga as well at this point. Glad we finally met Champa and Vados too btw. + Vados is fucking sexy! |

| Probably the most fun I've had with a Super episode yet (and this includes like the next two episodes which I've seen and like), just Goku & Vegeta's dynamic was a lot of fun. I loved Vegeta's "You can't piss there! Use the toilet!" and the scene with them changing Beerus sheets was a lot of fun too, loved the resolution with Goku flying slightly above while an asleep Beerus has him in a leg lock. The Battle of Gods arc was mostly terrible (though the last few episodes were fine) and the Hercules/Mr. Satan episode was just annoying but I'm glad to say that the series is starting to get entertaining now. Which is a surprise, since I wasn't that huge on Resurrection of F. |

| I miss the Gohan from the end of the Cell arc. I miss the Videl from the beginning of the Buu arc. I get that a lot of things have changed, as the world's at peace and everyone's grown up, but I'd just like them to, well, do more things. If there's a single criticism I'd always ascribe to the Dragon Ball series, it's the show's inability to give other characters a role in the plot. Also, I...can't remember if Chi Chi's personality has always been this overblown. She absolutely has a point about Goku helping with the family, as well as discouraging everyone from getting Pan into fighting, but I think there's a better way to get across these concerns without screaming on the top of her lungs all the time. Lastly, come to think of it, why does it take multiple explosive hourglasses to wake Beerus up, but at the same time the slightest sound or movement from Goku and Vegeta could accidently stir him awake? |
