Synopsis
Five hundred years have passed since humanity went extinct at the hands of the fearsome "beasts." Even up in the sky, where the surviving races dwell on floating islands, these monstrosities constantly threaten to bring death and destruction. Only a small group of young girls, the Leprechauns, can wield the ancient weapons needed to defeat these creatures. Into the girls' unstable and fleeting lives, where a call to certain death could come at any moment, enters an unlikely character: a young man who lost everything five hundred years ago, the last living human awakened from a long, icy slumber.
The only thing I dislike is the long ass title (Even the English translation of said title sounds pretty dumb). However, the premise sounds a little interesting, so I might watch it.
shuumatsu nani shitemasu ka ssogis sedkud ksa sjitke sdesu ka ?!
fail
gg with the title.
shorten it; SukaSuka. GG
looking foward to it tho. i'm kinda interested in it cause it has romance and sci-fi tag xD
and that cover looks intersting too imo.
Kinda looking forward to it the summary makes it looks really interesting and this tags Drama, Fantasy, Romance, Sci-Fi kinda make me excited i just hope they will make a full adaptation since there are only 5 volumes might even get a 2cour season, cuz wouldnt be exactly nice if they do just half of the LN and leave us hangin *-*.
Also ill add this news article http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1455301 guess they are picking up the popular LN that dont have an anime yet so we can expect some more of it in the future from the list i would say also this is the extended list

Mhm, haven't I seen this before.
> Years ago, humanity almost got wiped out by huge magical armored insects that had become too strong and aggressive to handle. Because of these giant bugs, humans do not live on the earth anymore, but in floating cities instead. However, this does not mean that everything is lost, because the wizards from prestigious floating wizard academies are fighting these monsters.
I absolutely fucking have. LNs proving once again how creatively bankrupt they are.

Didn't expect these LN get an anime adaptation. HYPE!!!
With this, Youjou Senki, Violet Garden & Tenkyou no Alderamin next season, I have faith in LN adaptation again. Seems Japan finally knows that "Battle School-Harem was BAD & BORONG" for now.
I hope for decent studio like SUNRISE or JC Staff or White Fox or KyoAni.

Creativity is off the charts.
You definitely haven't seen this before. I guarantee it.
Here's the post I did about what's this series is about on another thread last year (when that title received a high rank on Kono rano ranking thanks to high votes from the professionals of the novel industry) :
Hide spoiler
It's about a fantasy world where humanity was fighting all the other races. Humanity was using "heroes" who had sacred swords with very specific technology. Those swords allowed the human race, considered as one of the weakest, to actually stand above others. The main char was one of the heroes who went to the last battle against the stellar God-who was leading the other races-. When he wasn't fighting, he was the "father" of an orphanage (a normal one on earth).
They won, but the heroes are pretty much wiped out with that last battle. He get turned into stone himself. Top be awakened 500 years later. And learn that humanity was wiped out by another problem since long ago, and that the other races are surviving by living on floating islands, since the world itself cannot be lived in anymore. Some salvager, who go to the surface to get ancient technology (especially those famous holy swords) found him and "reanimated" him. As the last survivor of humanity, he'll find himself managing young girls used to fight the new menace. They are considered expandable, and can be ordered to detonate themselves if necessary to save the floating islands. That race has a particularity to not care about their own life, so they're fine with it. He cannot fight anymore by himself, since his body's inside are pretty much a mess. So he will try to bring them to want to live, and will try to rise the chance of them returning alive from battlefield. Rather than being on the battlefield, we see the MC as he's worrying about the girls that went in the battlefield, for example. So there is little to no action, that's not the point of the series.
