Eh it was okay, quite simple for the usual 'cute girls doing cute things' show. OP song is catchy.

Youko's shy but adorable imo.

This is alright, the art is definitely great, but it would've been better if it were released in the mid 2000's, it just doesn't stand out to newer SoL such as Pan de Peace and Flying Witch. Futaba is adorable and my goodness, she eats bread like it's going out of style and by the loaf.

Pretty cute start, though I could do with juuuuust a bit more fluff from it personally. Yoko's clearly best girl. Her former butler or whatever was annoying, he's not needed. Definitely feels like a middle of the pack horse among all the cgdct sol shows airing this season though.

Well that was a adorable first episode. It didn't really do anything new, but I had a good time with it. It probably helps that the show looks amazing, as to be expected from a Dogakobo slice of life series at this point. The opening and ending song are really likable too.

A "fateful encounter" of those trio, how admiring.
I don't know between Yoko being too shy or maybe just that 1-3 class is too "crowded". LOL

White kitty is the real MVP.
Not sure exactly why this show wouldn't be popular, but I personally like it enough.

I'll try to watch episode 2 with lowered expectations, maybe then I'll enjoy it more

Felt the same way I did about this as I did the author's previous adaptation - the characters are likable enough but I really thought I should have laughed more often than I did. Cute is good, sure, but cute and funny is better.

Character designs are a _huge_ improvement over the source. They did a good job there.

relaxing and enjoyable episode overall imo. i almost thought this was Pan de Peace episode 3 LOL. the cover almost look the same. and this episode is pretty similiar to Anne Happy too, but in terms of art i prefer Anne Happy AND in terms of animation, i prefer this anime. they really put much effort in the animation. the characters were making much movement.......

the joke aren't really that funny that can make me "LMAO" but there were some scene which made me laugh :D. hope the comedy will improve....

moe/5 i guess LOL

Yoko is a cute, but the show is ruined with the other 2.
Blondy's character doesn't fit her character trope and the black hole is meh.

I liked this one well enough. It felt largely uninspired though.

That is, until I realized the manga for this began in 2003. So basically this is the Ushio to Tora of moeblobs. Except, I didn't really get a sense of retroness from this show. Instead, this just felt like a short that got extended for far too long. Why they waited 13 years to adapt this thing, and why they decided to make this full-length, I will never know.

This was cute and had fun characters. Not terribly new, but not really repetitive either. Fun things are fun.

As least it had decent jokes unlike Tanaka-kun. I don't hate that show either but this one clearly wins if you're trying to compare which one is more lackluster, at least in terms of first episodes.

The OP is okay... but I was just so bored, was falling asleep throughout the episode.

Doga Kobo SoL shows are always so pleasing to look at to me. It just fits the tone so well

Doesn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary but that's not really an problem for an anime of this nature so I liked it well enough

This should have come out in the Winter. I liked it, but this season there is a crowded field of SOL/CGDCT shows.

Flying Witch will have the SOL in the bag, and Anne Happy the CGDCT.

A nice start so far. I was worried Yoko would continuously be a bitchy rich girl but I'm glad she proved me wrong fast. Looking forward to this show!

And I think people are expecting a bit much for a SoL show since they're not really eventful which makes them boring so to say

Funny how everyone praises shows like Joker Game, Sakamoto, Re:, My Hero Academia etc for what they are and not 'how they are', and when it comes to this little SoL anime which has a very basic premise but with its own unique execution mostly thanks to its director which as a directorial debut is way way more impressive most of the veterans working in the field, oh it's just a boring 'cute girls doing cute things' SoL that repeats that same thing over and over and over. What isn't? And even if it's slight different it still managed to make me feel like I'm watching 'something could've been great', Joker Game.

The handling of many of the scenes are very precise, the voice-acting is surprising not so intrusive for VAs who don't have much experience, the cuts and shot compositions are made very naturally. It is the best executed SoL anime of this season.

Now what's left to be seen is if it managed to be consistent through out the whole season. This new kid on the block Yasuhiro Kimura certainly got a good start on this anime.

It's not to say it's going to a great anime, but a very very adequate one if it managed to maintain its quality which honestly I don't have high hopes for. In anime high hopes always lead to disappointment, ain't that the truth.

Wow. It might be because I came into this one with somewhat lower expectations than I usually do, but this was a dang good anime in my opinion. Everything felt quicker than most anime like this, and I quite liked it, especially with its cute characters and animation.

Also, really freaking love that opening.

Well said.

I'll be continuing with this one, as I think the SoL and CGDCT anime are fairly strong this season. There was some nice, energetic animation in this episode, too.

Whatever. I enjoyed this a lot. Not surprising since I typically find SoL to be great breaks from the other shows in the season.

It's not trying too hard and doesn't have something to prove except to be relaxing and fun. Accomplished.

The characters are all cute and this is animated very smoothly which I noticed very quickly. The interactions between the cast weren't drab and stimulated development of both character and plot. It's a SoL after all. There isn't anything ground breaking being done here but this show has a lot going for it post episode 1. SoL fans shouldn't be disappointed.

Dogakobo's first episodes always have such smooth animation. This is looking very Yuruyuri art wise though where as the animation reminds me more of Lovelab.

I feel like it's trying too hard. Too much attempted slapstick with the facial animations/ reactions, which fall kind of flat being so out of context. The opening was especially annoying to have dumped right at the start at breakneck pace.

But since KyoAni is wallowing in self-masturbatory tastelessness and PA Works are just repeating how much they hate men these days, Doga Kobo is still the next best thing we have in SoL.

I like the stalker guy, he raised the level for the show. Hopefully the pace will settle down the next few episodes.

I agree with pretty much everything you said. I'm not exactly sure what people's expectations were for this anime going into it; I was under the impression that nothing was going to happen, but it was going to not happen in a very cute way. In that regard, I was extremely satisfied.

Furthermore, I thought that of the things it could do, it did quite well! The animation was bouncy and fluid, the characters were, to me, a total joy, and the soundtrack and voice acting were great when they needed to be, and unobtrusive when they needed to be. Personally, I'm already in love with the series, but I suppose I'll give it some time to see just how long they can keep this quality up. In a season filled with lots of cute, slow-paced, SoL shows, Sansha Sanyou stands out to me, in all honesty.

There's a glasses girl? I'm in. Jk, I was always in. She is similar to Botan from Anne Happy, but her darkness of a different kind. She's more sadistic, which I like.
The animation is nice!

Yoko is pretty cute, too. I like all the 3 girls.

And ofcourse, its score is already below 7. Thank you very much.
I can see it reach 8-level very soon. Maybe even 9 later. It got potential.
