Yeah your profile seems to be fixed now, it could've been a site-wide css problem.

There's a lot of decent shows this season. I'm already following 11 shows and Boku no Hero Academia is in progress and I'm hearing good things about Bungou Stray Dogs. But, 13 shows would just be way too many. (Also Macross Delta T.T)

I'm enjoying Tanaka-kun's comedy, Kabanari is really hype, flying witch is just lovely, Kuromukoro seems really promising, I can't wait to see where Mayoiga goes.

That's some interesting discussion you had with Ryanftw regarding score distribution. I have a theory that you'll use more rating spectrum as you rate more stuff, get more sample size. Unlike you, I don't think I have a big enough sample size.

I think it's okay if your average isn't 5 since you're going to watch more high quality stuff. That's why I wouldn't normalize my scores.

Currently, I'm sort of flooring my scores at 5 because I don't think I have enough sample size to sort the bad stuff at the bottom. At first I only used 7-10 but recently I expanded with more use in the 6 and 5 sections.

Hi! Nice profile pic. You have quite a system for rating anime. I think I should understand but could you explain what you mean by (Average * 0.95, Std Dev * 0.9) with regards to normal distribution.

We have a decent affinity. We have some disagreements, only one noteworthy would be Shirobako and a 6/10 is still average for you so it's not that bad of a disagreement.

Interestingly you rate Gate season 2 a lot higher than Season 1. I also think there's been improvement. One problem I had with Season 1 is the way they split up the screen with some scenes. That wasn't as noticeable for the second season.

So anime that you rated highly that I also watched, Toradora, Psycho-Pass, SNAFU, Madoka Magica, Steins;Gate. I plan on watching the Monogatari series some day in the future and I think I might enjoy The Order of the Rabbit.

My safest recommendation would be Baccano but there are quite a few shows on my 9 list that you could possibly enjoy.

It's really hard for me since the bulk of my ratings are 7s and 8s, which at first glance it seems like I don't give anime bad scores or I don't use 1-5 of the rating system. However, I generally research anime before I watch it, and if i don't think I like it, I just won't watch it. So what ends up happening is that I really only watch anime that is highly rated or I think I will like it so I end up rating most anime 7 or above

I updated all my scores on my phone but it didn't sync. I went back to see how I would rate them now. I think I am probably rating with a 60-80% enjoyment and 20-40% quality ratio
