| 3/5 Seen that the flyer, in addition to the PV, they were not sublime; I thought it was really sucks. Surprise! It is not so bad. Cute reversed the relationship between sister and brother. He serious and dark, and her silly with his head in the clouds sometimes. XD Madhouse while not giving a result so poor, in this first episode, working dogs. Scenarios just enough, inconspicuous color design, custom design is not bad, but a bit crudely drawn. Character design simple nothing sought, not bad but not so nice to be remembered. Plot is not very specific, narrative with ups and downs. Characters somewhat stereotypical, do not miss anyone ... Final vote, for now, of 6/10! |

| I like the main character. He seems to be calm, calculating and intelligent. I don't know what happened to his magic, but hopefully he can dish out some hits too sometime. Miyuki is kawaii. I wonder why she is so polite when speaking with her brother. I liked the fighting animation a lot and the art style is wonderful. |

Besides the inclusion of magic which already made me eyescroll to the idiotic system which in its own made no godamn sense. I mean think about it: If tthe world got into 3rd world war probably because of starvation and rebellation of different classes, why the hell would they include different classes in their new school system and kinda tolorate it when this "bloom" class insult the "weed" one. (since the system didnt prevent that from happening). And you cant say that human nature will never change, since thats only a mere idiotic statment, but ofc it can be discussed. I know that these are just kinda unimportant points but it seems that the storywriters made no effort in presenting and realisticly bottom for their story to bloom and besides their system what else does this anime has to offer? Incest clichee highschool relationships? Yeah very creative |

| Maybe I'm a bit late but I want to keep up with this show. It's really amazing, I mean everything. But I don't have enough time... maybe one episode once a day won't effect my time because I'm also watching a lot of things. So there're 2 divisions, "weeds" and "blooms" and the discrimination is so hard to deal with in that magical institution. That started making me super annoyed.. especially when Myuki wanted to go home with her brother but they refused. I really didn't get the part of numbers and why Shiba feels some apprehension about it. Did i miss something or it'll be explained in the future ? It looks that Tatsuya is on bad terms with his family members.. Is he really blood-related to his sister ? |

| Pretty interesting, should have picked this up sooner. I have to say I'm intrigued by the brother-sister kink that's happening here. Not a fan of LiSa, will be skipping that song whenever it comes up. |

| That was a pretty good start.. skip a lot but the pacing was fine. I must be awkward to be here to listen to the 'Onii-sama' that everyone despise so much hahaha. It's expected that all the 5-6 pages of explanations cut short into 5-6 seconds though. :b Since I read the LN.. I'm up for it as long as the fight scenes are good. |
| I liked how this episode used its time very efficiently and did a very good job of world building with a lot of "infodumping by showing" in addition to the main character's monologues. The background story of the setting was ok and does the minimum to establish the overall world. The look of the city and the technologies that were shown helped to give it a feel appropriate for the year in which the story is taking place, and showing some ways in which magic is integrated with technology was a good touch that gives us a sense of the kind of applications magic can have in combat and daily life and what kind of things a Magic Engineer might create. Tatsuya is a bit on the bland side, but the monologues really help to show that he's a very analytical person. The fight with the monks showed gave us a sense of his physical fighting abilities, and of course he possess a lot of that. His actions in the final scene demonstrate that he may be a bit manipulative to some degree and his ability to quickly improvise a plan to get out of an unfavorable situation, though whether or not it succeeds remains to be seen. Clearly he cares very much for Miyuki, but I'm interested in seeing how exactly he views his relationship with her. Miyuki is rather adorable. I'm really curious as to why she's so infatuated with her brother. They act more like a couple than siblings, but I don't mind the incestuous undertones. I get the feeling that the scene at the beginning of the episode has something to do with this (or at the very least show us a timeline of how far back it began). It appears that some kind of complex may have caused her to view her brother the way she currently does, or I could just be completely overanalyzing it all XD. The Shiba siblings appear to be quite talented overall, so I'm curious to learn more about their background. Tatsuya made a name drop of another clan, so it looks like family pedigrees is probably a thing. That map at the beginning was pretty weird. West EU was east of East EU, odd grammar mistakes choices in the names, and Japan was the only country that didn't unite under another entity. The dialogue could have been better at certain places, and the conflict between the Blooms and the Weeds is another one of those typical high school class warfare type deals and seems rather contrived (particularly with that whole posse present just to stop Miyuki from eating lunch with some Weeds). The show looks quite promising so far and I'm interested to see how it develops. |

| I can't tell if this is about a magic high school or a lesson in the word onii-sama. At least the male main isn't as wimpy as a lot of anime males. I will stick with it just to see how he fares....definitely not for his blushing sister. |

| I do like the art in this show and it does have some nice character designs. Not a fan of Miyuki's character yet I am really liking Erika immediately. The OST sounds nice and the opening is really good. |

| Looks really interesting to me. An nice start for the first episode. Characters are great (yeah sure Miyukis "Onii-sama" is maybe a little bit to much), but everything else fits. We don't know to much about the magic which is used but magic is always fascinating. And of course magic + elite school is a perfect mix. So I'm looking forward to see more of this. Tatsuya for sure is an genius. I loved the fight between him and the ninja sensei. I hope the fights will be always like this. PS: Animation and the OP is subarashi :) |

| These characters suck so far. I have a feeling that MC is going to make me dislike this. The only character I'm kinda okay with so far is Erika. Everyone else is blah for now. The plot hasn't grabbed me. So far, I don't care what's going on. Hopefully that will change for the better. It's only episode one, so I'm keeping an open mind. This MC really is ticking me off though. Every time I see him, all my energy is drained. Just in the first episode, he's managed to explain away a problem, but that's boring. There's no real conflict there if everything can go the MC's way if he wants it to. I just have to remember that even though it's episode one and things are already looking bland, it's episode one and things can also start looking better. I can't help but think this is gonna be a long ride.;; |
| What an amazing series. No one's more aware of discrimination than the ones being discriminated against. I love this series for taking on this premise seriously. I like that Miyuki is all open to incest and is okay shipping herself with her brother. Tatsuya is just cool. He is cool in his own way and carries the entire story on his own. The fight with the master is a classic. And that road scene where both of them skii along the road is just epic. I would rate this a 10/10 in animation and I think this is the closest any animation is gonna get towards Fate Zero. The background music is cool and still gives off a vibe that something's wrong. Also, that Tension between Leo and Erika is present. I am already shipping those two. They already look like best couple. BTW, lots of things are left unanswered this episode. Looking forward to the exposition. There is the mystery with the teacher and backstory with the parents of the Shiba. Whole lot of mystery going on here. Also Erika using that baton was cool as shit. I hope more of those action scenes. Speaking of which, Tatsuya was great at evading the fightand used perfect excuse. He is already a great hero. I hope to see more of his magic engineering and his analytical skills. Those stuff is completely new. |
