DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ah it took a lot of effort but glad to see they got Ushio back to normal. A lot of emotions running high this episode especially Asako. The action and comedy balanced well in conjecture with the pacing too imo including the small bits with the flashbacks. Very nicely done!  |

| There's nothing to say honestly.....This arc has been so amazing and this episode was just perfect imo However, I think it's pretty cool how all of the girls are pretty much going to step aside for Asako and at this point I don't mind it one bit |
| OK... Ok.. ok what an intense episode/ arc it was ! So they combed his hair successfully and Ushio is back to normal and like every shounen hero he is stronger than before and his powers are clearly show. In his rage mod Ushio reflected Tora lightning with the spear and after he regained his sanity he used that knowledge to transform his spear to an electric spear and roasted all those Hiyous in one big swoop :> So the creator of Demon Blade is the brother of that spirit Myei? There might be a backstory on them like.. the brother avenging her sisters death ? I am not sure but I cannot wait to that Well in the end I guess he maintained he harem xD ( 8 girls ?) P.S - When Ushio regained consciousness the first name he uttered was Tora ! Tora x Ushio confirmed !! |

| Well it's nice to see that Ushio is finally back to normal. Kind of reckless on his part to confront Hakumen right away but I don't think he really has any other choice. I guess the Ushio x Asako ship has somewhat sailed now, seeing as how the girls agreed that Ushio was coming back to her specifically, rather than all of them. This was a pretty good arc, and it was also nice to (briefly) see Hyou again. |

| Mayuko isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, is she? To free up both hands, even without pockets, she could have put the comb in her mouth, or stick it in her hair. And if she had that kind of killer throw when she passed the comb to Asako later in the episode, she could have also thrown it up the cliff to where Asako was looking down. Didn't see that coming, for Jie Mei to be the spear's blacksmith's younger sister, but I guess that should have been expected. Though I wish their backstory was expanded upon, like why does the brother hate Hakumen no Mono so much? And from the looks of it, seems the sister died pretty young too. Pretty neat to see the spear used together with Tora's lightening, acting like a lightening rod. The spear became a giant bug zapper lol. So, Hinowa Sekimori doesn't count as one of the girls that needed to comb Ushio's hair? He did save her life like the rest of the girls after all. In Jun's case, he just saved her brother's so that doesn't count. Maybe it was because he knew Hinowa the least, or because she was one of the beast-spear candidates...Who knows? |

| Talk about an epic episode. So many feels were hit in this one. MAPPA is easily becoming one of the studios I respect the most. The scene where Ushio was talking to Tora about how he misses everyone and how he saw them in his dreams was very touching. It was a good thing that Hyo arrived there, otherwise it would've been real hard to get him out of this mess. Also Tora's character growth is insane. |
| Glad that Ushio has returned to his old self, the beast looks makes him very ugly. It seems like Asako will be the girl of Ushio at the end. The moments of Mayuko and Tora were funny (I don't want that to turn into bestiality, though). | Fantastic episode of Ushio to Tora~ Ushio has finally returned to being a human and just seeing Ushio working with Tora to take out those Hiyou with a joint lightning + spear attack combo was great. The scenes with Mayuko and Asako attempting to comb Ushio's hair was quite touching, especially Asako's scene; such a beautiful scene. Ushio being somewhat conscious telling Tora about each girl that he saved and met was really sweet. The other girls even acknowledged the fact that Ushio is coming back for Asako. I sure hope Asako officially confesses to Ushio some day. 5/5 |

| The story arc ends well, they make it clear a few points in the interpersonal relationship between the protagonist and the other characters, especially the female ones, satisfied overall. Drawings and animations seemed good quality, unfortunately, I say so because for most of the time, the video I watched, he had a very low quality of the image, so much that I could not even read the subtitles. I look forward to the next episode. In the meantime I will try to review the episode again, however, despite being granted the narrative, it was well done in terms of dialogue and direction. |

| It felt like a dying message in a way, at least with the same emotional impact, but being near death too can be said to be in the same caliber. The amounts of feelings the girls had to save Ushio like and, and Asako was like a confession to Ushio, the other part has to wait, though, interesting to see how the girls felt too at the end. There is quite a lot of stuff going on, which is somewhat surprising to see this much progress. That was one awesome fight by Ushio and Tora, the priests did a fine job making the fight possible! |

| Just watching the episodes week by week makes me want to go read the manga. If fact, I've already download all chapter but the waiting period....My God, especially since there's gonna be a second season too. Wouldn't want to go spoil myself but still......... |

| Good stuff; this was super cheesy (as this entire arc has been) yet still felt powerful and epic (as this entire arc has). And the power of the harem saves the day once again, though it looks like Asako won (to no one's surprise). Saya still best girl. Tora was the best, like usual, and I'm still hoping for more backstory regarding the spear's forger. Additionally, it was cool to see Hyou again. |
