| Ok, so can LN readers help me out here? There is this huge debate between whether or not the best girl is Est or Restia. After this episode my vote is going to Est so far because I was not expecting that cuteness overload on fucking steroids. And I'm not even a lolicon. So my question is, why is Restia liked so much, what is it about her that makes her so popular? I may be spoiling things a bit for myself by asking this, but so far in the anime she seems like a clear antagonist. I can get the whole liking her cuz she's a badass thing, since she does seem like a badass, but I'm usually not on the villainous girl train. Especially with villains who meddle with shit, like when she gave Claire that spirit. If you can tell me without spoiling too much stuff, please enlighten me. | Claire was okay in this episode, but she should calm down a bit when doing something dangerous and think twice before accepting it. I'm pretty sure that the one she is going to summn would be pretty dangerous. Est is cute, she reminds me of Chino from Gochiusa sort of mixed in with Shiro from No Game No Life. LOL she is embarrassed about her exposed legs while not embarrassed on her exposed body. So she only trust the MC to be her master while didn't trust Claire is her master, just by her thought. Ellis and Rinslet acting tsundere in front of Kamito is pretty cute XD. His harem just got started XD. That flashback of Kamito was pretty interesting, seeing it as her first contracted spirit. |

| You know i started reading the novels from the start again since i gave up on them after novel 2, i think it was the crappy translation at the time that ruined it for me (it seems to be better now) and i am currently on the third novel and enjoying it more than i did last time i started the series. The anime has a fatal flaw though it is leaving out the biggest victim in the series and that is....... trees. Seriously the amount of trees that get wiped out in this series lol. There were meant to be ones destroyed back in the start when Claire tried to contract with Est and there were meant to be a bunch more destroyed in the frenzied spirit fight. In later novels there are multiple tree deaths per novel i think the writer hates trees =P On this episode though yes the best girl was introduced and that was Est look forward to more of her from now on. |

I was seriously contemplating to drop this when watching the first half, Claire was really annoying there. Est instantly saved the show. Still, the animation in this episode is really horrible. There were so many derp faces and disproportionate figures. |

| First and foremost, gotta say, totally loved Est! Claire once again shows her stupidity and charges the demon spirit, only to have to be saved by Ren.. er, Kamito. So, she cries and pouts and does her depressed spoiled brat thing and then decides to go and do something stupid and out of her league again only to have to be saved by Kamito/Ren. She's the perpetual damsel in distress, and it's going to get old real quick. Restia continuing her plans to fully awaken Kamito/Ren, though I'm yet to understand exactly what that means because I've not read the LNs. But, that's cool, adds some mystery and flavor to the "plot" of this series. Once again I find myself enjoying the character of Ellis, she was so cute when she apologized. So, Est and Ellis FTW! |

| Great episode, though I don't recall what happens after Claire acquires her new spirit from Restia (honestly, I'm pulling blanks in my memories of this series). Her momma really should have taught her not to accept candies from strangers, even if the stranger is a girl. :P Est was just as cute as in the manga. Though I pegged her for having a bit "perkier" attitude, her dry ironic humor suits me just fine. I want more of the back story between Restia and Kamito, I want it nao! Next episode please! I wanna see Kamito go all out in that tourney! |

"Papa" lol "Miss, that happens to men in the morning" seriously that scene really looked perverted xD Est is so good at taming spirits, that scene was cute. What a bold and honest girl though. She appeared like that to make him happy, plus she already confessed. On top of it, she's badass Ellis apologizing was cute. Is Scarlet gone for real? I really liked her and hope she returns... Another great episode, I am a fan now. |

| Wow our main character was so calm having a loli naked girl in his bed, this is one of the qualities I like about the main character in this series. Yet he felt so weak and useless last episode, it's nice to see him actually get his sword out and kill Mr. Ugly. As for the red hair girl, I hope that familiar turns her evil. That's what you get from wanting only power =). |

| Est is kawaii. She's like the chibi version of Kisara from Yugioh. I don't have a good feeling about that Gespenst spirit though. It feels likely that the evil power is going to control her instead of her controlling the power. |
