| What a great start for the year 2012!! :D And wow, the series starts off with an arc with the main antagonists. Nyanko-sensei, still awesome as usual!! XD OP is ok, ED is good. :) |
| Ah, Natsume.. I missed you. :3 I was SOO excited at first, but then I fell into the wonderful lull of Natsume Yuujinchou. :) I was surprised though at the sudden seriousness of the plot. There's usually a serene episode at the beginning.. But that's okay. It was really interesting. Can't wait for next week! Finally my Mondays are filled with joy again because of this show.. :DD 5/5 |

| As great as ever. I am a big fan of Natsume Yuujinchou. Natsume and Nyanko-sensei are awesome. I especially like when they fight with each other. So cute! Anyway, a very good start to the series. Didn't expect it to be action-packed and definitely didn't expect Matoba-san to make an appearance. Can't wait for the next episode. |

| Oh Matoba... you are not supposed to grab a virgin's hand like that. When they chose Junichi Suwabe to voice him (sexy middle-age man's voice) in the third season, I found it mismatched. Let's see how the story with Matoba and Natsume will unfold and whether was really necessary to use Suwabe's voice. The vase with the eye reminds me of Pokemon 'Unknown'. |

| it's finally back natsume back with a lot of surprises and action.. i was thinking it will start with a lot of soft feeling in it, but what a surprise ep. i like the op clip and the ed song, it was very nice. do you think also.. 10/10 |

| Luckily the wait for the fourth season wasn't that long and it starts of very nice. I wonder what new things this season will bring us and hopefully it's just as good as the previous ones. And hopefully we some more of the relationship between Taki and Natsume. |

| I had almost forgotten Natsume was supposed to begin on January 3rd, so I was pleasantly surprised – more like having a silly smile plastered over – to find it out this fast. Such timing <3 Now I know which will be lighting up my rough Tuesdays~ Nothing could be better~♥ Right into an action-packed episode, eh? That’s great. I don’t mind a change from the mellow and sweet introduction it has got me used to. … BUT WHY A CLIFF-HANGER SO EARLY?! Ah, I guess it couldn’t be avoided… While I am currently not too fond of the opening song, – although I must admit that the animation was lovely with little Natsume – the ending was splendid. What a way to start 2012, indeed. I’m so happy! |

| Loved the paw print on Natsume's face after Nyanko-sensei slapped him, that was the funniest scene in the episode xDD OH and Matoba looked so hot and scary at the same time at the end, I would pee my pants if he would do that to me :D |
| I missed Natsume a lot and a showdown with the Matobas was just the best thing possible to open the new season. |

| Wow did I have a pain in the ass to catch up. However I am happy I marathoned the last 2 episodes of season 3. That is because it gave me a sense to the OP despite the flow of music being different. Here are my thoughts, About OP, on the poignant things of the OP is that of young Natsume being shown here. People may have forgotten that it’s a trend that started back in season 3 episode 12. In doing so the OP respects the flow of that episode. Episode 13 was more of a ending filler. The real arc to start was this one after Natsume’s encounter with that Youkai. It further shows Natsume being young in the spoiler Natsume’s Youkai friends being shown here and there suggests to me that there being still supportive of Natsume once again in this season like last season they were not only shown to do so but they also swore in episode 13 to help him out. A key element IMO. They were not so determined in season 2 considering that is where Natsume helped a lot of them. Natsume being seen with Nyanko when he was younger and then thinking about it in the spoiler About the ED, the ED is very remarkable in that Natsume is shown being in a Igloo with Nyanko here. I especially loved the art in the spoiler About the episode, to make it short very well done! Loved it! New arc! New enemies and plot! Jun in the spoiler Can’t deny the same for Taki in the spoiler EPIC Nyanko slap in the following,  Considering that it left a mark in the spoiler I find it was nasty and terrible of Natsume’s attack in the class in the spoiler Loved Natsume’s kick in the following,  That was nice! It should teach that Youkai well! While Nyanko was amazing in the spoiler About the end of the episode, the end is very poignant in the spoiler About the preview, the next episode looks interesting considering I wonder if those Youkai while having glowing red eyes mean anything towards them being stronger? Looks like Misuzu and other Youkai might get involve. It will certainly make more good comedy of seeing Nyanko being angry at the pot here. While what I really can’t wait to see is in the spoiler So I think the season starts out great! Right from episode 12 with some elements of episode 13 of season 3. | I'm so happy that Natsume is back! Even though only a few months have passed since the last season ended, I definitely felt a void from the lack of Natsume. XD While I also agree that it was a bit sudden to have the new season start off with Matoba drama, I nevertheless really enjoyed this episode. Young Natsume in the OP was SO adorable and Nyanko-sensei was super cute and hilarious, as always! I can't wait to see how Natsume gets out of this mess he's gotten himself entangled with Matoba. |

| Oh god, Natsume will never disappoint me. It is just far too good, I love it so much! I can't believe it started yess :) This episode was great, so heart-warming as always, when Tanuma is walking to Taki, they're pure perfection. 5/5! |

| About time Hatsuyuki released their amazing work on the franchise. The first episode was really good and natural to it. Really liking the dialogues in the show and it never lets me down. Funny part of it was when Natsume thinks of how Nyanko-sensei got in the bin in the first place, priceless. I'm hoping this season will enlighten us more about the different clans in the Youkai exorcism. Really want to see how it all plays out in this show. Will definitely be great either way. Damn Cliffhanger, but I don't think Matoba means no harm to Natsume...for now. |

| Just marathoned the first three seasons over a week or so (had to take breaks for the multitude of this season's shows I'm following). This was a fantastic fast start to the season! I hope the cliff-hanger is resolved quickly enough that Natsume will be able to watch the meteors with Taki and his friends. |

| Deus ex machina, coincidence based writing and lame cliches? Doesn't feel like Natsume at all. It's good that the author is developing the series wider but this episode was far from impressive, unlike pretty much every episode from 3rd season. Hopefully the next ones surpass this. |

| What a way to start the new season, that was suspenseful and kept my heart pounding all throughout. Those monkey masks are kind of cute, it seems like they have good intentions. I like what Tanuma said about why Natsume keeps his youkai encounters a secret, it really adds another reason as to why I like this series. Looking forward to another season of Natsume and Nyanko-sensei's adventures. |

| The beginning is very promising in terms of history and fun. I would have expected something more calm and reflective, rather starts really well the fourth set, satisfied! Nyanko-sensei is always the best when it comes to comedy. The opening and ending are not bad, but it was more catchy the opening of the third series. |
