| It's kinda hilarious how much Konoha is excited about her interests, almost like a meme. She is a big airhead and has a kid side to her personality. I think we're going to get a lot of references from other media franchises in this show. (Kanon already making a cameo) Not sure I'll like Konoha in this show but she seriously has so much energy. |

| Remember the anime Bokutachi no Remake a.k.a Remake Our Life? Mangaka Tamiki Wakaki's is something like that, but really going back in time, now his 2nd anime adaptation since the famous classic Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai a.k.a The World God Only Knows series back in 2010 to 2013. The hopeful Konoha Akisato working as a sub-illustrator in a game development company, she loves beautiful girls and Bishoujo games. It's funny seeing Fate/Grand Order and Madoka Magica posters in the train (since this is an Aniplex production after all), though Konoha can be too energetic for her own good, wanting to perform well at her job, but that the company she's in is limited on their resources (just like any other game developer). Discovering an old shop where bishoujo R-18 games are in abundance of bargain bins (it's hilarious seeing Key's Kanon VN selling for 100-yen dirt cheap) and Konoha gets excited about it wholeheartedly from an old woman who's selling them (with Lycoris Recoil pictures all around), barring that she wants to create games with passion that modern day reality just doesn't get. Knowing that, the old woman discreetly packed her shop, and sent Konoha a package full of old classic Golden Age bishoujo games, as such with one game of Dokyuusei... that "Isekais" her back to the past! Konoha being sent back to the classic 90s era where games are made from floppy disks, and where the Golden Age of bishoujo games are at its best, Konoha stumbles onto Mamoru Rokuta in a 1992-era Akihabara, the classic time travel trope! Shoko Nakagawa's OP is fine, though this show would stand out based on its premise alone. But this premiere episode being an anime-original to start off the setting of the manga? That's ballsy. |

| What surprised me most was that all images games and posters shown belong to actually games i recognised quite a few of them. Also the 18 label means that there is something very good insight. Anyway the main was a bit the energetic but she did have a lot of passion for those games, tho she should find a different work place because it's clear she isn't in the right company right now. Going to the past sounds interesting but for now we still have to see how it turns out. |

| I wasn't going to check this out initially, but I'm pleasantly surprised by this one. From the mangaka behind The World God Only Knows, it seems like a lot of fun. A lot of vibrant energy, references to media franchises, and a very energetic girl obsessed with bishoujo games, just very entertaining overall. Not sure about the whole time travel bit, but I'm certainly not complaining right now. Let's hope this one continues being such a fun time! |

| Here it is the hidden gem of the season. It's not only good but also surprisingly well subtitled, pretty rare find these days. No matter how many times it's done, the "huh" after a brief pause in any anime always gets me lol. Mikarin_Enjoyer said: So far everything is anime original other than the supporting characters. | Another Koga Aoi masterclass is here. She’s got two great roles this season and this one might be the better of the two! Great premiere from this one, with only 10k MAL users it’s going to be in the running for hidden gem of the season, no doubt. The premise reminds me a lot of bokutachi no remake. Going back in time to the golden age of visual novels, bringing all the knowledge from the present to the past to finally be able to fulfil Konoha’s dream of making a VN that excites her. I always love these shows where characters express how passionate they are about things they enjoy. It’s so cute seeing cute girls geek out about otaku things. The show also provides a cool commentary on just how creatively bankrupt some gaming companies have become, not just in the VN arena but in general. A very relevant story. At times, it played out like an aniplex ad with the sheer number of titles they referenced. Seeing FGO, MagiReco and ATRI was awesome. Considering most anime censor titles or change them to some corny variation for copyright reasons, it’s cool to see actual real games and names used. Helps with the immersion. I’m very much looking forward to getting to see more of this and learning about the other characters. Konoha is so damn cute! |

| Really great and interesting first episode, so glad there's lots of anime and galgame references, especially there's a direct reference to Kanon, also mentioned a lot of times, which is just awesome! Looking forward to how the story will be like, maybe making a new galgame that she always wanted. |

| GOD DAMMMM, AAAAA WHY IS THIS SO GOOD??! I honestly wasn’t expecting much from the first episode, but seeing all of the visual novel references and the climax of the main character accidentally time traveled back in time, I’m just immediately hooked. 8/10 episode 1 so far, absolutely adore the main character Can’t wait for episode 2!  |

| Now thats defo old school animation but one thats apt for the time period. Nice shout out to ATRI as well as Engage Kiss and Lycoris recoil as well. Finding a gem within a out of the way game shop though was a neat idea that also featured some nice shout outs to classic VN's. It was quite the collection that the old lady gifted her with. Loved the old style ending theme as well. Overall a pretty fun opening ep that had among its premise a unique one that while featuring a genre of game thats relatively unknown to those that live in the current era nontheless are for those that grew up playing VN's. It would be nice to see what goes into bringing such games to life by seeing it through Konaha's life. |

| Decent, as a hardcore visual novel reader it was fun picking out everything in her room and at the shops. My autism was triggered when she had her Yuzusoft titles out of release order on her shelf. Also half the episode felt like shilling for the remaster for Hapymaher and the other half for Atri since it has an anime adaptation coming. |
| Ooo, what a strong premiere. I'm glad I noticed it because if I didn't, it probably would've gone under the radar for me. Konoha is pretty cute, passionate about her interests and hobbies. Definitely a lot of references to the medium as others have pointed out, which is a really fun touch. I wonder how Konoha will adapt to 1992, having just time traveled back 31 years from 2023, it feels like it's going to be a very entertaining and vibrant story with how things are set. With all of that, I was really surprised with how this first episode turned out. I only noticed it because of that little tab on Crunchyroll showing what episodes for what anime have aired today so good thing I did haha. |

| That was kind of a nice start, Konoha seems like a fun protag and it's been a while since someone actually time leapt with their whole body and didn't go back in time to their past body to change their past. This having romance tag is concerning as this type of story ends with protag leaving and coming back to the present so no room for happy end and which is why I initially didn't want to pick this up. Btw they really went all out with showing a lot of anime/game/vn from irl which is quite interesting. |

| @Fello__ Yes what main protagonist and her boss said is almost correct,many people who created great eroge/hentai moved to other genre such as mobile game(Soshage,or gacha game),light novel,anime industry etc...... For example Gen Urobuchi,who created anime Madoca Magica is known for eroge Saya no uta,Kikoku gai,Phantom. Also The author and illustrator of "Classroom of the elite" is known for their eroge such as Akatsuki no goei |
| Konoha is very cute!! Her passion for visual novels and desire to create one herself is super relatable. Interested in seeing the direction this anime goes, as a lot is changed from the manga. Great start so far though. |

This was a pretty good episode, I did not expect Konoha to be set back in 1992, but it makes sense.
I like the idea of her making her own game concept more during the year of 1992 instead of 2023, since times have changed nobody wouldn't be as interested as much as she is when it comes to the heroine/bishoujo games she likes. She would have a better chance in a time where I'm guessing more bishoujo games were being developed. I can't wait to see how she'll fit in with the rest of the crew, they're going to need someone like her to put their business in motion.

| I didn’t realise this would be a time travelling anime but I’m all for it. This seems like a nice little comedy anime. I also enjoyed the many references to certain anime. Like the lycoris recoil posters. I also noticed engage kiss. One from the Fate anime. And one for that Atari anime coming out. |

| Woah, looks like there's actually something good to watch on wednesdays. Didn't expect to see so many references of old bishoujo games (even DOS based) along with so many modern IPs like LycoReco in a single place. I really enjoy Koga Aoi's voice when she's not doing Kaguya, her high pitch does really work well with this kind of character that's also meant to be a homeage for classic heroines from the past (that scene where she was narrating her vision of a game looks incredibly good in stylized animation). Shame that this is going to be the most polished show being overlooked in the season due to youngins not getting the references. |
