DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So Alice does trust Kirito more and more now after hearing his story about the Integrity Knights. It seems the name Selka is of great importance to her. Whatever the case, Quinella is definitely someone they have to stop. On Eugeo's side of the story, it looks like he goes under some serious mental stress after some of the recent events. Poor guy, maybe this is all becoming too much for him. Quinella really is a twisted manipulator and it's too bad that Eugeo falls for it. Really painful to watch... |

| Time back to before Recollection ep. and mentions about that thing that forgetting the memory. Mentioning about she's from the village and her family. The first of the team (Suwabe-san's character) did question about the lady's order. Can be commoners' teachers? Her body remembers her sister, and even shed tear about not remembering. She only agrees to believe him just to see his sister. The moment she said she's going to disobey, the alert on her right eye (like Eugeo guy) happens. The "Gods" of the world's system... She tries to fight against it like Eugeo guy did during that incident. Eugeo guy seeing a lady.. that admin lady, naming herself his mother. It was a dream. He's at the top room and the lady sleeping. She said his mother sharing love with brothers, and him killing that loyal was because he loved his kouhai and was not able to get her. Then letting him see a forgotten memory, where Alice girl is with main guy. She's trying to brainwash him into the love he received from others except for her was something extra to get him to work for her. ED: "Niji no Kanata ni (虹の彼方に)" by ReoNa (inclu. in ED2 single) |

| Its nice that Alice is able to finally find the truth of how she become a knight. Seems the elder really only cares about being near the top and not about his role. Hmm having the knights teach the commoners their skills is indeed an interesting idea for it will also take some slack of the knights as well. Seeing Alice's reactions at the revelation that she too has a family was pretty heartwarming. The seal of the right eye again huh. Still despite the pain of the seal Alice's declaration sure was a powerful one. Quinella exploiting Eugeo's inner darkness and insecurities sure was an interesting move. That last scene when the visions of his friends try to stop Eugeo was pretty well done. |

| Alice realizes that she has a family and was used the whole time. Eugeo had a mental breakdown after being manipulated by Quinella. That was hard to watch. |

| Alice in, Eugeo out. Kirito’s got unexpected trouble awaiting him for sure and I’m curious to see how he’ll tackle this peculiar situation. First half of the episode, and a little bit of the start of the second half too, really connected up with the recap episode earlier last week brilliantly. It sort of gave some sort of gravity to the situation, I suppose. Alice’s realisation of having a family herself after deciding to trust in Kirito’s words was very touching. Alice then going on to go for the declaration causing the sealed eye to burst apart was very admirable on her part but a little uncomfortable to me, of course no where to the point of the second half’s though. Before getting to the second half, I got to say Kirito’s idea of making the knights teach the commoners to fight is a pretty far-fetched idea and idealistic idea from my point of view. I’m sure we’ll get to that point somewhere in the midway of this whole arc so I’ll leave it here to elaborate and share my thoughts on it later. Second half of the episode featuring Eugeo’s downfall instigated by Quinella’s horrifying manipulation was honestly a painful watch. Using moments of his past to throw him deeper and deeper into the depths despair was excruciating to watch. I knew things would take a turn in this crude direction but I never honestly imagined it’d be to this extent, jeez. Eugeo going on to saying chant those spells under Quinella’s influence was bitter to watch, final scene of his friends trying to save him was really good I must say though. Seeing a bit of Tiese there too was depressing. I just got to wonder if this is exactly how Quinella managed to make the Integrity Knights as they are. Hopefully, Kirito will manage to revert him back by pulling out the data(or whatever it was) out of his head and with Cardinal’s guidance. Overall, the whole scene’s presentation and atmosphere backed up with the delightful new ED song was a magnificent job! Just a little Question I have in mind. Why didn’t Cardinal show up to prevent Eugeo’s fall here? Surely Eugeo’s a big piece of her grand plan of ousting out the Administrator, no? Or is it like she can’t enter Quinella’s personal area or something of the sort? I don’t think it was explicitly mentioned on the limitations of Cardinal’s observations, so I highly doubt this is the case. I’m pretty sure this is incorrect too, but does it have something to do with making Kirito even more angry so she decided to keep away and let things play out as they did? Anyway, I can totally see a grand battle of Kirito and Alice v Eugeo and Administrator coming! Pretty sure Eugeo will swap sides at some point too unless we’re in for more desperation, so I’m looking forward to seeing how things progress from here onwards! Edit: Episode 19’s delay actually worked out better. I feel like the two week gap and then this intense of an episode complimented each other to really amplify the enjoyment/torturesome of this episode which was great! Eugeo really did fall too easily though, in my opinion, now that I had a look at it again. Sure, Quinella was relentless but even then I feel as though Eugeo could have, or rather should have, resisted more. Maybe it’d make the episode even more intense had it been that way, but we’ll what’s done is done. |

I wonder if we have a fight between Kirito and Eugeo after this and seems that their core is protection is that barrier that the ponetix controlling them through it. never realized that Eugeo was that thirsty for love, and how much of his past was true. | Pretty great episode. I like how Integrity Knight Alice trusts Kirito fully and shows her resolve for wanting the normal Alice to come back. Feelsbadman for Eugeo, being tempted by a hot Quinella. pretty lewd stuff near the end ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) im looking forward to the next episode |

Just a heads up, that song title is wrong. Anyway, solid episode. I had a feeling they would use "虹の彼方に" as an insert or ending at some point, after I heard it on the CD (it's track 3 on forget-me-not which you can get on CDJapan if anyone reads this). It was too emotional to not use lol. I don't think that scene really fit though so I hope they use it again later, better. |

| Great episode they faithfully adapted episode, I thought they give censored it but they didnt. This is the start of new Eugeo. Its emotional episode especially in Alice part she wants to see her sister Selka. Next episode Im excited. |

| Alice is in Kirito's side now, and Alice decided to trust Kirito, her realisation about having family was trully touching, and Selka had a great amount of importance there, her brain dont remember but her heart does! Of course, the sealed eye had to appear before she end the declaration, but the moment when she fight against teh sealed eye was really awesome! And sadly Eogeo's downfall manipulated by Quinella was so much painfull to watch, i was hoping him to use dagger, but sadly he didn't use it, the scene when friends tried to save him was incredible and truly well done, and Tiese appearing aswell! Btw, i got to admit, Quinella is hot! Cant wait to see more! |

| alice was convinced a lot easier than i expected she would, but that was pretty epic scene on her part. really liked her part a lot :D i also will admit the eugeo brainwashing part was pretty painful but ah quinella is legit 10/10 so i don't blame him for falling for her seduction (tho it was prob just brainwashing to make him easy bait) ngl i would probably immediately join her just by hearing maaya sakamoto's voice alone *O* |

| Tbh we should all be happy for Eugeo, I know I'd rather get laid with Quinella rather than follow along Kiritos hard plan On a serious note, It was hard to watch Eugeo get brainwashed. Fuck Quinella for doing this to our pure boy. The episode was sensational. The direction, the ost usage, the animation and art, everything was superb. |

| was waiting for this ep for soooo long and I wasn't disappointed. I'm liking a lot the adaptation so far, I was scared they'd censor the rape in the academy and Adminitrator bitchy mode, but I guess for once they are doing a great job. Poor Eugeo :c |
