| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well this is sad. A lot of flashbacks this episode as we find out more about Tenka and Botan as well as their encounter with the Oichi. Lol, I find Tenka's relationship with his teammates to be amusing as well especially when it involves Botan. Anyways, life won't be the same without them again for Sora and his brother. |

| i can't believe this is the second week in a row Donten ni Warau made me cry..... Laughing Under the Clouds?did you mean Crying under the Clouds???omfg I am glad they dabbled into the backstory because i was worried they will never properly explain it. |
| That was quite emotional. Botan being a special familiar, where she is the only one able to seal Orochi. Hirari being unable to lie to Botan >.< It was nice to see Botan trusting his words at that scene! Managing to help Botan seal Orochi. It was sad how Botan disappeared from his arms :/, wanting to see each other again yet unable to! That was really quite the scene with the petals scattering and Hirari grasping the paper. Still wondering why Tenka wanted to defend the Orochi. As he isn't a selfish person at all, or more correctly selfless for his important things. O.o Sigh, I miss Tenka already. |

| Why is this series so FEEELZ inducing T^T Another beautiful ep :*) Loved Hirari and Botan's relationship and how it developed. After seeing what happens to an Orochi vessel I'm glad we didn't have to see Tenka suffer like that. Still wondering why Hirari is alive and if the present Botan will remember Hirari soon. I hope so T^T |

| Well, we get a full backstory of the Orochi's vessel after seeing a piece of it. Botan is actually a familiar that disappears after her job is fulfilled. Hirari having feelings for her. That OST at the end again. The Hirari now, asking where she is... She's not that far away! |

| No OP and ED (instrumental). It seems like Suzuken's character answered my wonder to last ep. So he is not the same person as this ancestor, but somehow has the memory of that time. More detail on how the three met up and sealed the dragon. The container was that old guy that the two entrusted, and Suzuken's character in ancestor self was a bait who fell in love with a shikigami and jutsu user he met in youth. So is that lady same person in present time? |

| Hirari was pretty badass saving Botan from those ninja assassins. One-slash, certain kill. Hitomebore can make people so strong instantly. Kagemitsu getting pissed at Hirari getting all chummy with Botan was hilarious! He needs to understand they're an OTP though. Master Sasaki being the Orochi's vessel was a bit surprising. Nice seeing how confident Botan was about Hirari's genuineness. Battle scenes were pretty intense. Even without magical ability, Hirari fought splendidly. Loved how he saved Botan once again at the cost of his left arm. Them feels at the end while Botan disappears from Hirari's arms.. Damnit. T_T Good episode! I hope both of them reunites in this life again. They're definitely meant to be together. |

| I wasn't feeling this adaptation as much as I did with the manga until last week, and this week was even better. They're doing a great job, and imo I think the backstory works better this way, seeing it as present Hirari's dream. I didn't cry when the first three chapters ended, but dang, this episode. Hirari and Botan's love is pure and beautiful. Really liked SuzuKen and Satou Rina's voice acting here. | Really liked this episode. Some backstory is always welcome. Getting to know what really happened adds to the depth of the story overall. I'm really enjoying this anime. |

| They finally adapted this! This backstory made me really get into the manga, and they did a nice job here. Hirari and Botan's parting scene gets me teary :( the scene of her jumping in his arms is much prettier in the manga but it was greatly done here too. Kagemitsu is probably my favourite Kumo tbh HAHA, Soramaru definitely got a bit of personality from him. |

| Wow... gosh... that was beautiful. gosh. gosh. If this was a stand alone movie, it would've been fantastic. In fact, it might've been even better without the context of the series. Amazing. I'm very interested in seeing how Botan returns. I was iffy about the series until last week's episode, but this is two amazing episodes in a row now. |

| Excellent episode. Yeah, I think this show is very high quality even though I have a hard time getting immersed each week. It's probably one of those shows where I have to just marathon it to get the best experience. Hirari's so precious. Suzuken was the perfect voice actor for him.
