I kept this anime waiting because the treatment of the main character seemed to be so awful in PVs etc, even though someone recommended me this anime two times, but now that I'm actually watching this, it isn't anywhere near that bad. There have been two times up to now that have been a bit too cruel to Hitori, although that kind of attitude is what you get for acting like that, acting a bit like me... So relatable! Let's hope she'll get her way to cope with social anxiety! / ep 5. After the whole series, I can say that I was not disappointed even though everything I hoped for did not happen and there were some scenes that were not to my liking (because of how relatable and realistic Gotoh feels to me). Overall, it was good and I'm looking forward to continuation!

Kakeru would live happily ever after, or 3. Kakeru and Naho would start dating and Suwa would die. The teaching in these would be: 1. Everyone has regrets but you honestly couldn't have done anything to avoid it, 2. You can help others if you just pay attention to others, and 3. Happiness and unhappiness stays the same no matter what you do. Other teachings that were there right from the beginning was, don't keep your trouble and regrets to yourself only, it'll wear you out. And, please don't commit suicide, it will only result in guilt, regrets and sadness in others, no matter if you weren't so close as you'd wanted to.

It feels like the main characters have only a background, not a background story behind them. Many things feel lacking in this anime. Perhaps it worked better in the novels? Plus, the name "How to Become Ordinary" would fit much better to Classroom of the Elite, or even Detective Conan. The first 5 episodes felt like they don't actually care!
