Synopsis

Very loosely based upon the Moomin books by Finnish author Tove Jansson. Jansson, however, never really approved of the series due to dramatic changes in plot, atmosphere, character personality, appearance and names etc. The series was directed to adults rather than children.

Yo, let’s talk Moomin — absolute cozy-core LEGEND 🌿✨

Tove Jansson popped OFF with this one. Moominvalley? Literal dreamland. It's chill, whimsical, and full of good vibes and life lessons that hit way harder than you'd expect. You’ve got Moomintroll being a soft king, Snufkin out here living the vanlife fantasy before it was cool, and a whole crew of characters that lowkey feel like old friends.

What’s wild is how deep it gets — yeah it’s cute, but also?? It’s got real stuff about love, loneliness, freedom, nature... you’ll be reading it like “wait why am I emotional rn 😭”

Books, cartoons, art, merch — doesn’t matter ...
