Upon seeing the cover for this series, you may think to yourself: This anime seems like a wacky take on the whole ninja plot. Honestly.....you wouldn't be far off.
Its not perfect, but does have a lot to offer in its short 12 episode run, which come in the form of two 15 minute shorts. This series banks on nothing more than laugh value, and honestly, it doesn't disappoint.

Story: 7/10
While this series is by no means going anywhere with its story, the comedy bits seem to arrive in the right place at the right time, enough to keep you entertained, yet not too frequent to where read more

One word: L-O-L.

Story:

As with most comedies, there really isn't much a story to speak of. Like in a sitcom, whatever is happening pretty much resolves itself within one episode. This series has 12 episodes split into two parts each; so it's kind of like watching an anime with 24 mini episodes.

As far as the comedy comedy goes, all I can say is, you will laugh. And you will laugh hard. (Which is why I gave it the score I did.) Keep in mind however that most of the humour is ecchi in some way and that this show, despite its cute demeanor, is definitely read more

This is what the world would call randomation, the intensity of stupidity in this show will make you laugh up a lung. The characters are baka, the yellow blob is perverted, and the theme is priceless.

Story: This does not have a story, just random stuff, which is not bad in the comedy section of anime, but if you are looking for a dramatic and beautiful ending, its not here.

Art: The art is pretty good for 21st century anime, big eyes and the ending art is creative.

Sound: Dubbed is good with this show, but really how can you tell.

Character: One word...Awesome, just awesome. they are read more

Ninja Nonsense: The Legend of Shinobu
T.V Series: 12 Episodes
Original run: July 7/04 – Sept 25/04
Genre: Comedy
Original Author: Royichi Koga
Anime Director: Hitoyuki Matsui

Plot:
In the world of ninjas, danger is imminent and lives are always at stake, but that’s not the case in this series, instead of focusing on the essence of a ninja, the show strays on a more comedic path. Despite this minor alteration, the series remains one of the best of its genre. The series focuses on the world of Shinobu, which is done through comedic snippets revolving around the protagonist. Despite not having an actual plot, the series does well to please its read more
