Kyou kara Maou! R

Enjoyable side stories, they don't follow a specific plot, 1 episode 1 story, except the main one written in the synopsis.

I, personally, expected more from this series of ovas but since the anime is mainly a Comedy (shounen-ai notwithstanding) the plot (or its absence) was in every ova rather plain and full of cuteness. BUT don't let my review stop you from viewing this ovas! For you will without a doubt laugh or at least giggle some.

these little extra side story things are pretty good. each episode has its own kind of sub plot, like aside from the main one from kyou kara maou! if you like the first season im sure you would like the ova's.

If you want to get more Kyou Kara Maou content before diving into the third season, go on ahead but the pacing of the OVAs was a bit odd if you were to ask me. Some of the episodes didn't fully connect to one another especially when some of them included some cliffhangers, making you expect that the next was a continuation.

But, don't let my review fool you as ultimately the episodes are really lighthearted and adorable. Some of the stories just felt a bit bare and more could have been added to make them better. I did enjoy this to a certain extent ... obviously because I was able to see my favourite characters in action again.
