Lies are forbidden and love is doubly forbidden. In the near future, when young people in Japan turn sixteen, they are assigned a marriage partner by the government. People don't have to go through the trouble of looking for someone, and everyone accepts that the country will find a compatible partner to make them happy. Yukari Nejima is fifteen years old. He lives in a small corner of the country, and just can't seem to get ahead in life. Both academically and athletically he's below average. But within him, he hides a heart burning with passion! In this world in which love is forbidden, what will happen to him when he falls in love?
"Whassup Homie"-Marie Fgo2k17. Hope you guys remember me. MAL took down my review because they feel that I didnt write down what I like about the series (even when I gave it a 2) and what I dont, with some info provided. Amazing, MAL, you took down my review and dont bother taking down someone else's who basically copied almost my entire review and post it on the page. (I'm not complaining but plagiarism is not allowed here right? And that review was written by me before I made some changes which was eventually deleted by mal.) Well, here I am to be more CRITICAL
in my review.
*cough* Koi to uso
This series kind of reminds me to kill myself within the 24min. If you consider this as on par as Kuzu no honkai (manga is much better tbh), you got to scan your brain. Koi to uso, the first episode kind of reminds me why I drop this manga, and of course, kms. Hmm... what I liked about this garb???? Hardly any. What can you say about good points of trash? Maybe its recyclable? Nevertheless, I will try to squeeze something out of this.
Oh look, they cant have a romance what a pity! Like the states do everything for them and HA there you go, a really awesome drama gonna unfold with love rivals/love triangle whatsoever. (Just so that they could get some ships and fans for the romance.) And yes, I definitely will fall in love with someone who lend me his eraser in elementary school and when someone calls me out, I would definitely dress myself up to meet the one "I love" when I am late for 4 hours and the guy jut sat there and waited for entire 4 hours. And yes perhaps I will walk out in the street in my panty one day. HAHA ERASER XDDDDDDDDDDDD, ARIGATO, HAPPY BIRTHDAY THE PLOT IS SO DEEP INDEED, SO REALISTIC YEA ^_^
Oh and maybe u can slow down the pace too while u are at it ^_^
*bang head against the wall to think of something*
Oh, Japan's low birthrate so you gonna introduce this plot here to make the story sounds deep or some shit. Maybe the good point is that its relatable to the society. Idk man.
Nice ost. Female mc voiced by Hanazawa Kana, probably the only reason I am watching this. I like the op, ed.
Okayish art. Nothing wrong here. A big fan of shoujo so the big eyes arent affecting me much.
Your typical shit ass harem male mc that blushes 24/7, 60min per hour, 60sec per min. Oh dear he even blushes in the cover art! Hi is that you Ichika? >_<
Oh, and whats the good here? Probably ....... I like the side characters you see. That cool ass Yuusuke is cool and the female MC, although dumb, has my favourite female vc. No one is particularly fun here.
Seriously, if I am new to the anime community I may have actually tolerated this anime. But this has so much cliche with a stupi- sorry I meant BEAUTIFUL story. But yea, what I liked about this anime? Cool side characters, nice sound effects, okayish art. Something to rip from this trash.
Perhaps what's good about this show is that it serves as a lesson so that no other anime will be as bad as this shit. Story is in a mess with a hilarious government and hilarious train of thoughts by most characters. At times I really don't understand what the hell is wrong with their thought process. Characters are so unreal that u feel like they are going on with a script. And NEJIMA MY BOII BLUSHING.
Wew, I will recommend people to watch this anime, if you are into torturing yourself like me, or listening to Hanazawa Kana's voice, or just in for the animation ^__^. Watching this series with poor internet and watching the first minute of the series three times make me feel so guud ^_^. Amazing show depicting what's happening to the anime industry lately with the introduction of masterpiece such as Masou, Cerberus, Masamune etc. Simply amazing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOW :D Hope you find my review useful ^_^ And if MAL removes this, I'm done.
Unmixed affection? Forbidden shallow or infatuated emotions? Could be both?
What's more suitable are it's situation entangled such selfish and greedy desire that you can't even takes chances to escape between miserable pointless scenario between your youth
I've seen any skeptical reactions when it comes to relationship about love triangle issues and force marriage.
Setbacks can be a little too frustrated since how these characters interact in each other which is a big excuse to take affection onto someone that gone to waste.Fast-paced romance at the beginning is a well good start since if they adapted less chapters from the manga or you don't really
know where this is about to go. Keep in my mind that the tone itself isn't your unusual romance.
The Opening spoil and tells everything once it headed reach to other set of arcs between their droven possible traits, The beginning can be a little out of tone but it depends to to their redeeming qualities.
LidenFilms was also responsible from animating Rokudenashi last season
Who know's whether they skipped some few good parts that didn't get animated, or forcely rushed
It's a worth watch indeed, The drastic change may come things sincerely once the show turn to be much more decent.
This is just a PARTIAL review covering episodes 1-4 of Koi to Uso (Love and Lies)
This partial review will be Spoiler Free, Direct and Concise.
Firstly I will Categorize the scoring for the basic numeration for a standard scoring.
*It focuses on a social economic real life situation where Japan is situated with its problems of low birth rates.
*How the government solves the crisis with arranged marriage and stipulating it with the problems of society.
At first a foreshadowing of the first scene will give us an idea on what will the outcome be.
The first episode will fell like it will be a cliche. For the development
of the relationship will feel like it was fast, but will
be on a constant pace after that "scene".
You will understand along the way why it is called love and lies which plays an enormous part in the plot.
*Its that time of that century where bright colorful animation strikes.
*The scenery of the art was good.
*Though the eyes were very emphasized it seemed like they were a bit overdone.
A beautiful piece of art will appear lastly on episode 2 after the ED and the credits.
*The effects were used timely in some aspects some were ideally timed in and some were not.
*The background music blended well, but I feel like on chapter 3 it had a non relevant BGM.
Well I understand that only some studio's do the traditional effects but it is worth the effort for doing so.
*The characters were well engaged, each of them had a role which was very nice.
*The MC was typically a "normal" student but deep inside there is that burning passion.
Well at least we got a MC who had the guts to do it.
*Felt an emotion of sudden emergence.
*That my KoKoRo was DoKiDoKi a little bit.
*SMH, unexpected plot got me 10/10
Misaki Takasaki looks like Kana Hanazawa
Kana Hanazawa voiced Misaki Takasaki
"A Kiss A Day Makes Your Heart Race Away."
This was based on a Manga so there is no harm in checking it out.
Partial Overall: 8/10
Nevertheless this anime was Full of Love and Lies.
