-Both feature the male protagonist being transported from present day Japan to an alternate world. In Oda Nobuna, the protagonist is transported back in time to the feudal age of japan. In ZnT, he is transported to another world filled with magic and monsters. -Both male MCs have strong beliefs and want to protect others. -The main female lead both have tsundere personalities. In ZnT, she is constantly hitting, scolding, and at odds with the MC. In Oda Nobuna, she has the same traits but the tsundere is turned down a notch. -Both have a harem feel to it. The harem is more apparent in ZnT while  read more

Their settings may be different, but the events of both series take place in an alternate world. In that world, they must fight for survival with their tactical minds to put forth strategies. There is fantasy elements present along with action, drama, and comedy. The main female protagonist from both series is also skilled, independent, and has a talent in fighting. Her relationship with the main male protagonist can be viewed in a variety of ways.

Taking place in the Sengoku period, the MC of both series travels to a world that changes his life forever. In both series, they get involved with war affairs between nations. There they meet characters who resembles historical characters. In both series, they make a name for themselves through their roles in war. His relationship with other characters also gradually develops over the course of both series. Recommended for fans of historical fiction.

Both of these Anime have female versions of the characters from the Sengoku time period.

Both Utawarerumono and Oda Nobuna no Yabou place a male protagonist in a strange world based on a historical setting rife with war, diplomacy, and romance. The lives of the protagonists of either series prior to their arrival in this new world are explored very little if at all. They take an active and often leadership role in their new surroundings. Both stories are focused on their adventures in these new places and their interactions and relationships with the individuals they find there. They also make use of their knowledge of modern science and techniques to improve the lives of those close to them and strive  read more

Both focus on the Sengoku (Warring States) Era and feature a number of historical figures with major changes made to them. Sengoku Basara features ridiculous weapons and personality traits among the various famous generals and other figures, and has a general theme of "turn off your brain and enjoy the over-the-top badassery, instead of questioning things." Oda Nobuna no Yabou features a number of genderswitched historical figures, such as the title character, Oda Nobuna, and also employs the use of a boy from the future accidentally landing in the past and accidentally killing another historical figure so he ends up trying to keep history from  read more

Both have to do with Samurai and mix old technology with the new. Both are based off historical names and clans but use literary creativity. Both revolve around those figures and names with beautiful girls instead of guys.

- Although one is fantasy and other is a fantasy/historical hybrid, both are battle harem anime. - Both have nice doses of ecchi. - Both have interesting characters who aren't dumb or one-dimensional, but actually have a personality. - Interesting strategies and tactics which are worth seeing. - Provide high level of enjoyment. If you are a fan of harem anime WITH a plot, then both Madan and Oda Nobuna are worth a try.

keima katusragi " i can see the ending" sagara yoshiharu " i can see the feature " -The MC use their skill that learn in game and applying on reality

The main character was from the world where we live in and posses knowledge on how to win a battle with tactics. Both participate in numerous of battles and using techniques learn from history books.

- The main characters both get sent off to different universes, but retain something from their homeland that gives them an upper hand over the natives. - Many young girls in both cases - Both contain fanservice, but not the typical ecchi lewd type

Both are set to Sengoku period following Oda Nobuna. Oda Nobuna no Yabou is a little more light-hearted in terms of characters, but is still serious about the action. All the generals and warriors are cute girls.

People from Classic Asian story AS LOLIS! Also, both are funny and have an actual plot.

In both, we have a protagonist suddenly plunged into a new environment, very different from where they live. Oda Nobuna no Yabou has the protagonist traveled back in time, in an alternate universe, while Outbreak Company has it's protagonist travel to a different fantasy world. In both, they are faced with very different social structures, and attempt to bring modern knowledge to the people around them, and in doing so, they end up with a very prominent role or position. They are both surrounded by abundant cute girls.

Ookami-San is enjoyable. if u ask about similarities these both series have comedy and light romance. Both are fun to watch.

Oda Nobuna is set in the warring states time period, just like Koihima Musou. Additionally, all of the historical male characters are now female. Except for one. The prime difference is that this is a harem anime where as Koihime is entirely girls and ecchi.

In the both animes, there are some tactics during the fights. The principals characters are tacticians but not for the same reasons.

Steins;Gate has both sad and funny parts, just like Oda Nobuna no Yabou. Romance is also a huge part of the anime; without the romance, both anime will not have an interesting plot.

While not involving vampire girls, Oda Nobuna no Yabou presents plenty of girls that share similarities to Hazuki of Tsukuyomi: Moon Phase.

-main characters have the same personalities -the main character drags a guy along with her crazy plans

In a medieval setting, the MMC joins up with a fighting group mostly made up of a bunch of kick-ass women. The group's goal is to take over the country, with good intentions of course. Both animes start out with comedy, though they get more serious as the story progresses. Both Oda Nobuna no Yabou and Akame ga Kill include light romance and share similar art styles.

Each these are oddly good romance with the heroine being nobility and ourguy being just some guy. Each these also are too good for this world and will never be fully adapted as anime, ha!

I was shocked see that an anime about Edo period didn't have Gintama in the recommendations. So here I added it now.The story of Gintama also follows the same Edo period where many historical characters are introduced of that time. The characters have more depth to them in Gintama than shown in Oda Nobuna no Yabou.Though It's not much about the wars of that time Gintama is an anime about many epic battles and top tier comedy. There are countless emotional episodes about many characters that'll definitely make you fall in love with this anime.

-Very similar protagonists, at least personality-wise -Animated by the same studio with the same type of action -Both take place in similar time periods -Both have a bigger female cast than male cast -Both deal with hierarchies (Kings, Queens, Princes, etc.)

Both series revolve around Oda Nobunaga and the battles in the late Sengoku period.

Main characters go back to the past with their vast knowledge of the future. Main characters go back to the past with superior technology that can be used to change the outcome of a war significantly. Main characters in Zipang are conflicted about using their knowledge to change future outcomes, fearing the butterfly effect and grandfather paradox.

Both involve samurai and have a lot of action, romance, and the presence of guns.

Both set in Edo period with lots of action and mini journeys.

Both the series are all about a protagonist in an overly violent setting surrounded by girls who just happen to be incredibly important historical figures (admittedly in Hidan no Aria, they are descendents of those figures, but all the same). Both are shows worth watching and if you like the way that the back-story in each is related to the histories of the characters in namesakes then they are both for you!

Similar war like battles but in a modern day setting. Instead of battles between counties/nations, we have here battles between different school classroom.

Similarities: Both male leads found themselves transported to an alternate world which resembles the game they were palying. Both have the same tsundere female leads. Both male leads have to use their wits in order to survive in the world they are in. Both male leads have the same attitude. Dissimilarities: One male lead is transported in an alternate world that resembles the past, while the other male lead was transported in an alternate world which pretty much different from the world he is in. The female lead in one anime is an 8 year old kid, while the other anime, the female lead is the same age as the male lead.

Similarities: - the main dish of these anime is history - girls are more powerful than boys

One takes females and have them descended from great war lords while the other makes it so that the historical war lords are female.

High school girl/boy trapped in the past. Samurai.

Similarities: Both anime deal with martial arts and ninjas, a guy wanting to protect a girl yet has his own harem. Difference: Oda Nobuna no Yabou is set in a historical time-frame and Kage kara Mamoru is set in a present time.

Both are action-packed romances in which the male lead swears to protect and serve the female main character. Both female leads are incredibly powerful but often lose control of themselves and it is their respective love interests who keep them in line.

Both anime are about wanting to 'Unite' a nation (Kingdom - China, Oda Nobuna - Japan). Both stories give a similar vibe as they both tell the story of a young male who is assisting his 'Lord' in one way or another. Kingdom has the story of a young male who through brute strength wishes to help his lord where as Oda Nobuna the young protagonist aims to assist his lord through tactical means.

Both anime is about "another" world, and both are rly entertaining. Oda Nobuna is about historical events, but protagonist got his knowledge from games. In SAO it's about VRMMO, so its a bit similar in that way.
