Tons of action and fight scenes in both shows. Basically both characters start out really, really sucky and you get to see them get their asses kicked time and time again. Eventually they become stronger to fight bigger baddies only to get their asses kicked...AGAIN. Power-ups galore.
though the styles are totally different there yet the same
every average anime watcher will find himself in a dilemma on which he should watch.. i suggest both !
there both funny, yet serious but then again... also Cruel and theres drama..
they both got em all :D
It has the same "protect friends" motivation in fights, pumped action ^_^ and inner powers. Bouth are preatty long and are funny at times. Both have fillers but the realy looooong (and crapy) ones belong to Naruto, so don't watch the episodes from aproximatley 150 forth.
Fighting, usage of magic, and great character development. Because of the expanse of different characters, there is bound to be one (or a couple) that instantaneously become your favorite.
Both are anime which have the main protagonist overcoming odds to gain huge power and vanquish evil. Both are epic anime with a lot of in-depth background story and beautiful battles.
both main characters fight for their friends. Both animes are wonderful!!!
When both characters start they suck, but eventially they become better. In both series there is a lot of action, and some humor.
Looking for action, comedy, drama and more action? This is the one for you. Along with a whole bandwagon of great characters to love.
A lot of the same type of action. While Naruto has jutsu, Bleach has weapons with special abilities. The stories are similar and if you enjoyed Nartuo you're probably going to enjoy Bleach
Similar (read great) fighting scenes, similar animation (same animation team).
In every way, these anime mirror one another ranging from factors such as the similar main characters to the concept of a traveling group of cliches. More fundmentally, the storyline takes you nowhere.
Both of these have lots of fighting, with very dramatic and involved plots.
Both has extremely cool fights, supernatural scene's and some funny times in the anime.
It has action, adventure, love and even some comedy which is what makes these two anime seem so similar. But there are some differences of course, however the 2 characters kurosaki Ichigo and Naruto have extremely similar personality traits such as their will to protect those around them and their will to survive no matter what!
Both Bleach and Naruto have intence story lines and extreme butt-kicking scenes with large scale
battles and amazing story lines!
Another popular shounen title with lots of action and i bit of echhi
People who like one of these usually like the other too. Both are extremely long and very good at the beginning but get a bit boring after a few hundred similar episodes
There is a couple of similarities such as Powers, Teams, and leaders of groups....but as far as that I think that is all....but if u do like one u will most likely like the other.
It's very similar. They fight for dreams. They're fighting dreamers.
Same company, lots of fighting, orange-haired protagonists, fillers, both mainstream shounen.
Both are about teenagers with superpowers fighting bad guys. Both are mainstream shonen series.
The genres are quite alike, and they are universes where fighting is necessary for surivival. Where Naruto is more about emotions and the craft of a fictive universe, Bleach presents more extreme fighting scenes with a stench of Dragon Ball in it. Both are great animes.
Both great shounen series.
Both main characters try to be stronger and save their friends. In both anime is a lot of fight and action. And both anime have stupid, boring fillers. ;]
Both have similiar storylines and are both shonens.
Same animation and animation studio, same non existent storyline, same "fight for my friends" motive while getting their asses handed to them, same repeating boredom, and the same fact that NOBODY DIES IN THE SERIES. So if you liked Bleach, I can assure you that you'll like Naruto.
Both main characters are stubborn but are loyal to their friends and would do anything to protect them.
Both are long main stream shounens which are super popular. With loads of training and main chars always protect their friends.
Both series are about an outsider who tries to become stronger to protect his friends. In addition, Naruto, as well as Bleach, feature unique battles with super powers (Jutsus in Naruto and Soul Slayer attacks in Bleach).
Typical shounen animes. Hero with strong powers, will and many friends. Katanas, swords, battles, talking during these battles, evil organization and so on... similar, ne?
its full of fighting and has the funny scince like bleach
Both shonen anime, many funny caracters and a great story. Also a lot of fighting! The opponents get stronger and stronger.
In both - many battles and this is the most important - both are tapeworms :)
if you liked Naruto, then Bleach is definately the next shounen that you should check out!
Both have a main character that gets stronger and stronger as the show moves on. Both have an outstanding cast of support characters. Both are filled with action and all sorts of powers and blend in comedy at the right moments.
both anime are perfect for the anime newcomer. these anime are full of repetitive predictable plot twists to get any young up and coming anime fan interested. the character development is nonexistent and perfect if you do not want your characters to change. there is no death of main characters which makes if a perfect shonen genre title for any age. I would recommend both anime to anyone who is new to anime who wants to creep into anime culture as slow as possible as to not get culture shock. If you have seen more than 15 other anime this is probably not for you.

If you like HOnorabl Bad Ass Heroes, good morals, and ghosts and demons. This is the stuff.
spirit detective.. supernatural stuff and offcorse monsters and demons that is not possible to see by us. so yeah both show have them in common not to forget comedy, and other stuff
Bleach has so much in common with YYH that it almosts seem a rewrite.
Both features a regular human whose lives change after a contact with shinigamis (death gods) and go thru spirit related missions in the human world. The protagonists have a great gift for spiritual power and almost infinite potential (altough this is common in shonen), travel to other realms... and similarities go even beyond the protagonists (Ririn/Claude/Nova — Kaito/Kido/Yanagizawa someone?).
If you stick a red-hair wig on Yusuke Urameshi (the main character) you'll have Ichigo from the 90's.
Both have tough, bad boy exterior that they portray at school. Also like Ichigo, Yusuke get paranormal abilities and somehow gets involved of a alternate world to help save this world from the probable evil with the help of their friends sharing unique paranormal abilities that fit their talents. And as a sidenote, there is shinigamis in both series.
They both involve ghosts and are heavily fight oriented, but the themes are somewhat different. There is your average damsel in distress and female fighters, and there is more than enough action to go around for both series.
It clearly is the main inspiration, especially as Bleach drags on, and on...
The plots themselves are similar (Yusuke is a spirit detective and deals with intersections btwn the demon world and the real one; Ichigo is a shinigami and deals with hollow incursions into the real world), the development of the main characters is almost identical (normal delinquent to super powered fighter of justice), the main character goes on to gather a core group of friend who fight alongside him, he has a very powerful mentor who stays shrouded in mystery for large parts of the series... I could go on, but it seems excessive. These shows are terribly similar, yet are both really great shows to watch. If you Like Bleach, you will like Yuu Yuu Hakusho, as they are both truly excellent anime.
they seem oddly similar in many ways but both are very good
Both series involve a great deal of after-life stuff and in addition to both beeing great shounen, imo you can easily tell Bleach has been influensed by this anime.
Both main character has some inner-demonic powers and are ruthless, but honourable.
Similar stories with much action and adventure about shinigamis and the spiritual world.
In a way when you watch both of these anime, you can't help but wonder if they were wrote by the same person..they both start out with a boy that sucks at first and through a series of events gains power. As the series progresses they both get stronger for there own reasons and through determination. Though both came out years apart you can't help but feel the connection between the too. There are also some differences between the two like the art work and music but watching these action packed anime with long fights and bad ass attitudes will surely keep you entertained.
Both shows have delinquent teens for protagonists.
Delinquent teens are charged with protecting the world from supernatural beasts.
Delinquent teens both have female sidekick from supernatural world and along with lots of brawling school buddies.
Delinquent teens both have cool, supernatural toys with which to fight the supernatural beasts.
both are shonen anime with similar settings they both alsohave a badass as the main character they both have that ghost busting feel to it as well
They are both long main stream anime with spirits and demons and they have afterlife and heaven and hell in the shows. Main chars are super powerfull and fight to protect their friends.
Bleach and Yuu Yuu Hakusho both involve a young male teenage lead that is an outcast and not understood. These characters gain spiritual powers due to a strange event, and gain new friends who better understand them.
Both protagonists go through an early experience that gets them involved with spirits and the supernatural.
They also involve their friends in it and all of their powers are unique and special to them alone.
Bleach has more friends, longer plot, and a more intricate and complex system.
Yu Yu Hakusho is has less friends involved, has a more traditional shonen feel to it, and the plotting is simplistic, shorter, and compact.
Both of them talk about the other world, have monsters, jokes, etc..
Ichigo and his gang of friends fight other people with powers. both anime started out with the main character not having any powers and then their journey begins
After watching both of them, you'll see that Bleach stole a fair chunk of the plot and character traits from Yu Yu Hakusho. Both are great fighting/supernatural shows though.

Hmmm... They both have main characters that have to fight against monsters... For example, Bleach with Hollows and Soul Eater with their 'demons'. Anyway, their plot are somewhat similar. It's about their main characters fighting for peace and things like that....
Simular setting as soul eater: Shinigami fighting monsters who feed of human souls. Comedy, action and romance elements are also present in both series. The animation style is different though, soul eater has cartoonesk elements while bleach has a more common animation style
The way the demon eat human soul... n hunter hunt them down... dam similar with Soul Eater ~
Soul Eater revolves around, thus far, three students and their respective weapons used to take out "seeds of Kishin" or wayward human souls. The first protagonist, Maka, wields a scythe name Soul Eater. She is the daughter of the current Death Scythe (the weapon used by Shinigami aka Death). The second is Black Star, a ninja, and his weapon of choice it Tsubaki, who can transform into various ninja weapons. The third student is Death the Kid, Shinigami's son, who wields Patricia and Elizabeth, a pair of guns.
The seeds, are very similar to Hollow. Bleach and Soul Eater also have the same uniqe weapon for everybody and shinigami theme!
Both series involve spirits and people who hunter them. They both also are light-hearted at moments and serious the next
It's Like Bleach On Crack!!
Shinigamis, weapons and demons ^^
They both deal with shinigami, spirits, fighting, and they both have transforming dealing with swords. In Bleach, their katana have powers and in Soul Eater, the swords are people that can make their body a weapon.
Besides being another action heavy series, Soul Eater also deals with safe caretaking of souls. The meisters are similar to the soul reapers in that they have a relatioship or partnership with their weapon, though their relationship isn't nearly as vague as the ones between reapers and their weapons.
Soul Eater is an anime about weapon meisters and their weapons. Meisters weild and control the weapon, while the weapon is a person all in itself. Weapons are actually beings that can transform into the weapon, and they collect the evil souls that the meisters gain from killing the evil spirits in the world.
Soul Eater centers around 3 meisters and their weapons in Death City, which the Grim Reaper (Shinigami) is the head of. He started a school to train meisters and weapons to keep the world safe from evil spirit and any demon gods.
If you're a fan of Bleach you will enjoy the action and setting of this anime.
Both has a lot of action packed fights and deal with spirits and shinigamis.
Its almost the same concept!
Both talk about shinigami and their war against the hell soul
Their are souls and the monsters in both eat those souls of humans. The chars have weapons which are also alive. Then through understanding with your weapon they get stronger. Their are shinigamis in both shows too.
Great character cast, nice battle scenes with cool animation!
- Sword Fights
- Dealing with eating souls and using them for weapons
In both Bleach and Soul Eater, super-powered students learn from even more powerful masters. The emphasis on unique weapons is also a similarity, as well as the two major themes of action and comedy.
FYI, I watch Bleach in dubs, but I obviously watched Soul Eater in subs. I don't know if this matters to anyone who sticks to one or the other.
Shinigami,very funny dialogs,what else is needed <3
Both anime is of the fighting genre. In n both Soul Eater and Bleach shinigami (death gods) fight against demons. In both anime the weapons of the shinigami are 'alive' and form a part of the master.

Both are Shonen titles with darker less cliche villains.
Both shows feature broken protagonists and enagmatic yet mysterious antagonists.
Both feature a nod to Bushido with the individuality of their weapons (be it Zanpakutoh or innocence).
Both shows feature a mirroing of their enemy, ie. Dark Matter vs Innocence or Vaizard and Arrancar.
Both shows have strong support characters whose support can steal away from the main character.
They are both well written moving between light and dark moments with a re-evaluation of whether the enemies are actually evil or just victims.
Well... Both are adventures of inumerous characters, each one with his own power and distinct personality, against the evil guys.
I didn't get this part of the anime yet, but people said me that it has fillers like all those other similar series (as Naruto, Dragon Ball, etc...). For me, these animes are all the same after all...
both has its own serious moments against their fight against evil or their goal, with a bit of comedy to lighten the mood up from time to time.
Both are in a group of supernatural power fighting against evil in Bleach they fight Hollows and in D.gray-man they fight Akuma ( Demons ). If u liked Bleach you will like D.gray-man ^^
Both series have the same style.. A young boy who tries to gain more power in order to save good people on earth. Story and characters are a little similiar also.. So you wont regret it.
If you liked "Spiritual Energy (reiatsu)" .. You should definitely try "innocence"!
both the story, characters, and organizations are very similar
Both are fighting akuma or evil using there own methods in one its shinigami in the other its exocists both shows are great
Bth great shounen series.
Both main chars belong to an organisation such as Shinigamis or Order. Then each shinigami/exorcist have different ability and fight against Hollows/Akumas. Then in the shows the chars get stronger and have long fights with very powerful monsters. The monsters evolves to a stage where they are hellish strong.
Both are action/shonen series, with a group of good guys slowly fighting their way through the ranks of the bad guys, powering up in the process. While D.Gray-Man is often more serious than Bleach, they both have their moments of comedy to lighten up the mood when needed. Also, >100 % synch rate = bankai all the way.
Both have Demons, and similar fighting with nice power ups. Bleach is more slow paced, but they are both good.
Both about an organization of people with spiritual abilities that are supposed to destroy evil spirits
Both protagonists hunt after bad spirits and have extraordinary powers.
In both Bleach and D.Gray Man, the plot revolves round the protagonist and his friends as they combat an evil force to safe the people of the world. The anagonists are very mysterious yet likable characters and appear an unbeatable force. It is up to the protagonist and friends to try to beat them while they both fight with a hidden power within themselves.
Hero with strong/unusual powers, battles and many bishounens. Although I think D.Gray-man's animation looks better and Allen has more 'dark' secrets.
Akuma are like hollow.
Exorciste are like shinigami
Noah are like espada
if you like bleach most likely you'll like DGrayMan i mean it startsout boring like some animes but its halirouls and the action in it isnt so bad the down side is the ending is like a cliffy due to the fact the author got sick so unless your willing to wait for her to get better dont watch it and get disapointed

Somehow the story is a lot alike.. a guy lives a peacfully life until a mysterious girl comes and gives him power, and then they start fighting monsters together with that girl..
they both have a male who meets a girl trys to save them then they end up joining her and get alot stronger then her to protect her its like the same thing busou is the like the same thing but shorter
The setup for Busou Renkin is in many ways similar to Bleach - right down to the supernatural warriors each with a signature weapon - and Busou Renkin generally feels like a camped-up, deliberately cheesier version of Bleach. Busou Renkin also wraps all its romance and fighting up neatly in a mere 26 episodes, so if you're Bleach fan who wants a similar shounen show, but one which won't last forever, check out Busou Renkin.
Hmm for me the plot are somewhat the same though Busou Renkin is much more sci-fi and modernized than bleach..but instead of zanpakutou Busou Renkin characters use kakuganes as weapon..
They Both include weapons and the transformation of weapons.. i jst think their really alike.,, both are really good!
Starts out with the main character being killed, then being saved by a girl whom has the same power they give them. Eventually both main characters become very strong using a corrupting power. Really follows almost the same exact storyline.
Both are about an ordinary guy turns to a super "hero" with the help of a strange girl, who later becomes his senpai and partner. Plots are similar.
Boy gets weapon from girl. Girl is very mature and tries to keep to herself. Fighting off things that eat humans.
Both these animes deal with a dude with spiritual powers and use big huge swords to battle demons, ghosts,Shimigamis or humunculouse,Kurosaki Ichigo battles demons while Kazuki muto battles humunculouse
Mutou Kazuki and Kurosaki Ichigo are pretty much twins, both extremely stubborn and willing to sacrifice themselves for the sake of others. Both stories start in pretty much the same way. The Arms Alchemy is also immensely similar to the Zanpakutous that the Shinigamis wield, as they both are unique to the user and evolve not only the weapon but the users as well, in several instances.
Even if takes your life, you will never give up, you will never back down, you will never let down the ones who believe in you. You will keep going forward! You will fight for the world, for your friends and even for those you haven't met and probably never would. You belive that's the right thing to do and it really is!
Both Busou Renkin and Bleach are created on that same theme. The main characters - Mutou Kazuki and Kurosaki Ichigo, are first thinking about others and then about themselves. But is it an advantage to be so selfless, to care more about the world that about yourself? Who knows? But if you, too, think that the world we live in is worth saving, you must watch these two anime!
In terms of character:
Tokiko is similar to Rukia. They both have feelings for the main male character who they work work and they don't want to admit to it.
Kazuki is similar to Ichigo. They both want to help people and wouldn't be what they are now if the male female character hadn't appeared in their lifes.
Gōta is similar to Renji. They both care for the main female character and don't get on well with main male character however they will work with them if needed.
In terms of weapons:
Buso Renkin's kakugane = Bleach's zanpakutō. They are just simple weapons but then can transform.
The storyline is also similar at times.
Busou Renkin is one of the beat anime i seen...Oay you right you want to know the anime!?
OK its just like bleach because a normal school boy turns into a hero bcause his life was changed by a girl both the same...an the both of the boy wanna potect people with thir life ^^ very good!!!
100%
Bleach has a lot of action in it. They are very similar in aspects of being a normal teenage boy until a female interferes and ends up granting them power and changing their lives forever. It also has the comedy, and dark evil plot likeness that Busou Renkin did. Except Bleach is a lot more serious and longer.
Both have male main characters that start out as normal teenagers until they meet a mysterious girl who gives them new powers. There are also supernatural weapons, strange monsters and lots of fighting.
Both are about boys who meat a woman and gain the ability to fight in her world. Without giving too much away the storylines have similarities with character and plot development. Busou Renkin is however not as serious as Bleach, which is refreshing and also has a good end point.
Both have a super powerful girl that ends up being fighting partners with regular human guys who have big ideas about the world. Both Ichgo and Kazuki want to save the whole world. also there is a little spazy character in each the ends up being of great help.

The characters in both series are striving to become more powerful by training their skill and strength. Both series are about supernatural powers and evil forces that they have to defeat (Bleach: arrancar, Claymore: youma).
But more importantly, I find the character development in both series also very similar, both Clare and Ichigo have a motive to become stronger, Ichigo's motive is to protect his loved ones, Clare want's to become stronger in order to avenge her deceased surrogate mother.
Both have a group of people or beings that are dedicated to disposing of a certain group of evil.
They both have a really nice storyline.
There are evil beings that need to be defeated in both anime. In Bleach, there are Hollows and Arrancar while in Claymore there are Yoma and Awakened Beings. The protagonists are training to become stronger.
While Claymore contains a dark and serious nature in contrast to Bleach's senseless humor and hyperactive action, fans of one would most likely enjoy the other. An organization of sword-wielders, where warriors have varying techniques and ranks, is the major similarity between the two.
Bleach is basically a several hundred episode, more light-hearted version of Claymore. An organization (Claymore, Soul Society) has a bunch of warriors that fight a certain type of enemy (Yoma, Hollows) with each warrior using a sword that has a certain power. While the storylines are drastically different, the whole set up is fairly similar.
They are both action packed and you learn to love all the characters. And then there is always the
"transforming" aspect of each anime
which really gets exciting =)
Bleach takes on similar themes in a more pg-13 type of action. focus on action is usually less and there isn't a fight scene every few episodes, characters are very strong , similar and seasoned with a bit more frivolity, making bleach easier to get into versus the stoicism of claymore
In both series, the main characters wield swords to overwhelm their enemy. Ichigo and Clare share somewhat the same ability, meaning that Ichigo is a half-hollow and half-human and Clare is a half-youma and half-human. The only big difference is that Claymore has more blood and violence compared to Bleach.
Both Claymore and Bleach focus on supernatural sword fighting, both main characters crave to get stronger and in both anime there is some sort of a organization and a ranking system
Awesome and hardcore fight scenes with cool animation!
Although it is only 26 episodes long and there are basically merely 2 main characters, there are three important things in common with bleach that makes this a good tip for you. Swordplay, superpower and shounen-like style.
:: Both focus on supernatural action, with a sufficiently engaging story
:: Centered around elite, anti-demon groups("The Organization", fighting yoma; Shinigami, fighting hollows)
:: Fighters in said groups are made unique by abilities seemingly linked to their personalities--differing fighting archetypes(offense, defense), supernatural traits(regeneration, agility), and sword techniques("flash-sword") for Claymores; differing fighting areas(kidou, etc.) and unique zanpaktou for Shinigami

Endless storylines with similar experiences for the Main characters.
Because bleach and one piece are both action, comedy and adventure animes. The main character is a young man and he has special powers. They both have their friends to support them. They're both long ongoing series and they both got many plottwists. And both animes has got a lot of boobies, rangiku from bleach, nami for one piece
Shonen anime....both about the main character wanting to protect their friends/nakama. In order to do that they strive to become stronger and learn from others.
Action --- if it is what you are looking for than look no other than ONE PIECE....
This anime series is not only similar to Bleach but in fact I think even more than you wanted...
The Comedy, Drama, Action, Adventure, Surprise, Stupidy, Excitement, Tearful, and sooo oooo oooo much more to your expectation.....
As Bleach goes to the other world where spirits lies, One piece sails to many Unique and unbelievable islands that's full of surprise .....
Go for One piece, It is A hell of an adventure...
Similar type of humour and action, good-only-for-fight-but-a-very-good-guy main char.
Both shows are about fighting, and the desire/need to become the strongest. The fight scenes are well done, and a bit drawn out in both shows. However, if the length of a fight in either show doesn't bother you, then you will like the other.
There is also a fair amount of humor to both shows. The main characters in both shows are funny and likable. Also, in both shows there is great comedy relief chacters (kon and usopp).
A thing to note is that one piece starts very slowly, but if you give it time it will get you hooked. Also, even though it is at 364 episodes, one piece, according to the creator, has been completely planned out, all the way to the ending, so there is an ending plan, they aren't just making stuff up to keep the show going. I only say that because many people find that with long animes they get redundant.
Like One Piece Bleach contains lots and lots of awesome action. Most of the time it's like.. nonstop action. Humor is a part of the anime too, just like in One Piece.
Both of them are ongoing series, and the animation of Bleach just kicks ass (at the current episodes, 200 and 450+). The story's done great and the characters are amazing, the development of the story and characters are done great too.
Everyone knows the obvious similarities when it comes down to shows like these in particular. Many tend to underestimate One Piece, while they highly praise Bleach. This makes no sense whatsoever due to the fact that these two shows have similar main characters and motifs.
If you watch Bleach, then you should be perfectly accustomed to seeing that same old message about friendship. One Piece does this extremely well, even better most of the time. The main characters also hold many similar qualities. The main character acts as if they don't have a brain at times, they possess determination that will never cease to exist... The list goes on and on.
Both shows also seem to have plots that never end. They could go on forever, or so it feels like. The objective of both main characters differs greatly, though. Even that doesn't take away from the fact that both shows possess many of the same aspects.
Many would bash the art of One Piece with their complaints about the drawing. No one could argue that One Piece didn't have a unique style of art that stands apart from that of Bleach. You really have to stop and think, though, that adds to the show's greatness. Many people have come across Bleach's style, even though it does have its own style in a way.
The style of drawing for One Piece, however, matters not once you watch it. If you like the sort of anime that has a nice plot, the potential to become greater, and shows a lot of character development then One Piece is the anime for you.
Ignore the drawing if you can't stand it; some people, like myself, actually like the style that it's drawn in.

Same theme going here. Central main character who has an unbelievable kind of power trying to stop evil from taking over the world.
It is similar in may ways, such as the action, sad parts and hilarious parts.
Very similar in format, though different stylistically -- Naruto is set in 'past times' where Bleach is set in 'modern times' Both feature a strong cast of lead characters with seemingly limitless (possibly dangerous) potential.
Differences to be seen are Naruto's goals are clearly defined.
1. To become Hokage (to protect the village)
2. Protect his friends.
(Overall theme of Protecting people, his 'evil aspect' seems to be kept seperate from himself character until it consumes him.)
Where Ichigo's goals are not so clear,
1.Protect his friends.
2. Ichigo however seems to have a hidden side that constantly strives to become stronger regardless of his friends being in danger. (As in, he seems to go out of his way to face danger.)
(Ichigo's 'evil aspect' seems to be an integrated part of himself unlike Naruto's)
Regardless, both series are very strong by themselves and both are sometimes drawn out by Filler Arcs. (Which are generally still good by themselves, but they make you wait to see continuity which makes them seem unbearable.)
If you like Naruto I strongly recommend Bleach and Visa versa. -- Hell I'd recommend Bleach even if you didn't like Naruto.
Both have awesome characters and fights, and even humor sprinkled throughout. If you enjoy Naruto or Naruto Shippuuden there should be no reason you cant also enjoy Bleach.
Naruto in Ichigo are Similar they never give up
They are both great shounen.
Naruto and Bleach both synomonous with action animes. when you hear bleach the next anime that you would think of would be naruto... if you like it that is. they both are epic anime with outstanding character devlopement and plots so intricate you might would who were the brillant minds to think of this (I did anyway...) also there is some comic relief, a little bit of romance, and tons of serious parts too. and they're great for anyone
Both have been going on for a long time and are both main stream shounen. The main chars train and always get beaten up but then always power up and get stronger.

Middle school girl with a sword and "magical" powers
Sword fighting, magic and stuff. Pretty similar to Bleach, with a bit of added drama. Definitely a must watch.
Both male leads meet mysterious girls who have knowledge of things beyond the normal world. Flame Hazes are basically Shinigami and Torches are similar to ghosts.
Both is about the fight against the underworld of some sort, and the main characters both weild swords the plot is also similar in certain aspects, i'd recommed you watch it for yourself :), much more fun than for me to write spoils here ;).
Formula:
Shakugan no Shana = (Bleach*9/10) + Romance
well,
Shakugan no Shana - Bleach
Flame Haze - Shinigami
Tomogara - Arrancar
Rhinne - Hollow
Sakai Yuji - Kurosaki Ichigo
Shana - Kuchiki Rukia
Yoshida Kazumi - Inoue Orihime (both are annoying)
Ike - Ishida (both nerds though Ishida participates in fighting)
Personally, I prefer Shakugan no Shana as it has better looking characters than Bleach & it also includes some romance.

Bleach is so simular to Inuyasha it's scary. If you like one, you'll probably like the other.
Both are about an unsuspecting teen being dragged into a world of fantasy and adventure, while at fist glance they may appear about equal, Inuyasha is better written, so i recommend it more as an alternative than Bleach
Both are very much alike in their style and themes including the supernatural aspects
Both have lots of sword fights with samurai or ppl who look like sumurai and have to deal with demon slaying
Demon of some sort or another apear, though the concept behind each are very different. There are also a ton of sword play in there that works beatifully.
|
|
|
They are similar by the share intensity of each and every episode. You just want more and more. Its kind of hard holding back untill two episodes go past. But in comparison these two are both great
Both of these anime are about Shinigami.
Both are concerned about shinigami.
Impossible to forseen what would happen in the next chapter. Interesting plot full of unrevealed secrets and presumtions. If you are interested in shinigami world as well and delight with death ... This anime is ideal for you.
GO FOR ... DEATH NOTE! ... reveal the unrevealed
There both mostly about "Shinigami"( Death gods).

Bleach is really similar to Dragon Ball Z.It has evil villains that the world needs to be saved from and Both main characters shares almost the same beliefs.Bleach also has similar plot twists like dbz
Mostly about guys fighting a lot. Both seem to have similar plot twists. Like in Dragon Ball Z, saiyans somehow get more powerful from neardeath experiences, so when someone like Goku is going to die, he usually survives (Usually). And in Bleach, it's just that they usually get an enormous amount of spiritual energy and rage and then finish off their enemy, if they seem like they're going to die. They also both have deep connections with the afterlife world. Like in Bleach, a bunch of the characters are shinigami's so they have instant passage to "Soul Society", the home base for the Death Gods. And in Dragon Ball Z, people keep dying and then doing stuff in the world of the afterlife to train and such.
Both are long running anime series. In Bleach too, there are lots of powerful fighters and villains. And the battles are also epic!
Both long running action based anime with over the top fight scenes and impossible odds being meet through strange training methods. Bleach is a little more complex and is a little slow at first but it makes up for it 1,000,000 fold. Season 1 starts off pretty good and gets gradually better. But once you hit a certain point about half way through season 2 anything you could have imagined is thrown out the fucking window. Season 3 of this series is probably the best season in anime history. I would recommend Bleach without the help of anyone knowing DBZ.
Same feeling sometimes, no matter what you do to me i ll still find a way to win, and nice power ups DBZ is actually a bit better imo with its epicness but you wont regret watching Bleach either.

While Bleach and naruto achieved massive popularity outside Japan, Kekkaishi seems very underrated outside Japan. Consistently in the top 10 in terms of viewership in Japan, kekkaishi shares the same shounen genre as its other more popular counterparts. while it does not boast legions of characters or long names for techniques, it takes the simple and often overlooked technique, the kekkai and expands it, giving it a fresher twist.
They both deal with the entire boy getting powers, protecting girl, death spirits kind of theme.
Very similar in that there are monsters that the 'special people' with special powers must protect the humans from, different dimensions and so on.
Although both deal with different theme's, both anime's deal with action-packed adventures, comedy, similar clothing and enough eps to live of for a longer period.

Both of these shows have male characters who start out as the rookie, but quickly acquire skills. The main character in both end up battling it out with increasingly powerful opponents and then often make friends with these opponents afterwards. Both have supporting friends who are not as powerful, but help out all they can. Air Gear definitely shares that similar shounen/action vibe.
The story lines are completely different, yet the main characters are what made me think, "If you love Bleach, you'll love Air Gear." I certainly did.
They are both brash and loud and uncontrollable and obnoxious , yet they both have this need to become stronger and end up overpowering and growing more than anyone around them.
There are alot of major differences in the story though.
Young minds...Beware.
There is alot (I mean ALOT) more mature feel to Air gear... Or maybe I should just say, its alot more ecchi. Lol.
Which is fine, if your okay with it ;)
One is about shinigami's and death... and the other is about in line skating.
But I would have to say, they both had a very similar feel in terms of character development, and attachment.
I sincerely wish they would have gone on with Air Gear, and am very pleased Bleach has come as far as it has.
I say Carry on!!
And go watch Air Gear...
the same type of funny and yet complicated and deep story
main characters have similar personalities, similar way of showing dynamic "fights" - if you don't go into detail about bleach being more mystical - you get the same type of childish humor and heroic main character...

Rurouni Kenshin is similar to Bleach as they both have swords, are action based mainly, have many funny moments and Kenshin, similar to Ichigo tries his best to protect his friends.
Both animes treat them of samurais and both characters want to have to be able more to protect the people that them more they love. They struggle for the justice and no matter how strong the enemy is, they never abandon the battlefield and nor they give up the fight, taking a risk their own lives to save the people.
Both of these animes have great sword fights. They also artistically do period art, though Bleach also has modern things in it.

lots, and lots of awsome action with good animation, there are quite a few really funny jokes here and there, and the character designs r pretty origional, each character has a simple mordern teen look that suits there personalities, and the anime moves at a really fast paste most of the time
If you like a good shounen series try Bleach.
Both shows include awnsome action!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Main character meets a girl who he tries to save and she introduces him to a world of mages and magic. Has the same feeling as Bleach and both Ichigo and Touma share similar personality traits.
Both have powers and fight long fight scenes. Both main chars keep getting their ass woped and keep saving Damsels in distress. Both mai chars are also super naive and want to save everyone.
In both shows, the main protagonist gets a whole new view of the world. Namely through Magic/Alchemy and Death Gods/Restorations. They end up in a difficult plot, which can get themselves or the people they want to protect killed. Both situations get out of control as a higher evil organization starts to meddle.
Both action-packed, with the needed amount of humor and variaty of characters.

TONS of Bleach references in Gintama, also the characters are similar and both have that punk-shonen feel!
There are Bleach references in Gintama.

Bleach and Reborn are both a very energetic shounen and both have a very good story and of course interesting "powers" and I think both flow very well. in both of them there are cool fights and school life and great characters. And in my opinion if you watch bleach it would be great to try reborn as well.
The main chars are normal ppl who go to school and are then pulled into a world of non-stop battles against other opponents. Both shows are amazing with loads of action and comedy.

|
|
I think its similar becoz its about almoust the same agenda, to be kage/shinigami,
in the story, allways fighting against evil (either Hollows or Kokuchis)...
but I cant compare all of Bleach to Monochrome coz bleach is larger Anime (168ep.~6ep.)
People that like Bleach and also like (mild) Shounen Ai, might also like Monochrome Factor! There are a lot of things similar! The main character is a young boy that can see things that others can't, and he has to transform to fight them. Also, Bleach & Monochrome Factor have both funny scenes & fighting scenes.
|
|
|
Both main can see ghost/zombies (:
Recommended :D
Very similiar artstyles, also both have sword swinging heroes.
Both shows have a healthy mix of action and comedy.
Bleach has a lot better plot (mainly because it is a lot longer)
|
|
|
Both involve spirits and fighting even if the plots are waay differant
they both have awesome plot and characters are similar in a way
|
|
|
A shounen with a, in my opinion, little more mature approuch than Bleach, sacrificing a little bit of fighting for a lot more psychology etc.
A must-watch in my opinion!
|
|
|
They both have swords and other weapons. Then the chars have a huge amount of energy and they kill huge monsters.
|
|
|
Both have Shigonami, though in Bleach it is the concept that they take the souls to their final destination, in Shigonami, it is deleivering the last message of the dearly departed to the living. Appologies for the spelling of a certain word.
|
|
|
Bleach are inspired in Saint Seiya. If you liked Bleach, you will like Saint Seiya.
|
|
|
Both have Shingami, though in one case it seems that the shingami play the bad guys. There are also action scenes in both.
|
|
|
Both involves spirits/ghosts either to fight or used in fighting.
|
|
|
The action is same in the sense that there's guys in uniform wielding blades and cutting stuff or people down. The main story is somewhat similar in the sense that one of the main characters grow up into a world they thought they knew but experience a different one-the first bleach arc and samurai 7's story are similar with respect to that view-
|
|
|
In both the main guy meets a girl in uncommon circumstances, and thanks to this encounter the guy's life changes drastically, and he gets some kind of super power.
Some characters are similar, and also, the above said girl has an older brother in both cases.
These series are both shounen with great music, animation, and character design, and with well-done, but dragged-on fights.
|
|
|
They both have awesome sword fights and are GAR
In fact, Afro Samurai is even better since it has a normal plot line and a black dude as the main character.
<3 Ichigo

|
|
great anime...
love..
action..
|
|
|
Both have monstruous fights and have super attacks...^^
|
|
|
The supporting characters have quite a bit of character depth. They are also dealing with being able to see spirits, while others do not.
|
|
|
Lots of action and amazing storyline.
|
|
|
Both of the main characters see dead people.
|
|
|
Both use big swords to kill demons with both the main characters killing demons, without the world knowing that demons exist
|
|
|
This is a very funny anime that can make a bad day good. Plus the crazy doodles in bleach can be seen in this a little.
|
|
|
As far as shounen action series go, Bleach has become something of a measuring stick and Sadamitsu the Destroyer measures up quite well. If you replace Hollows with aliens, you pretty much have the concept of Sadamitsu the Destroyer. Both are about somewhat delinquent high school students who are thrust into fighting monsters with powers they don't completely understand. In addition Sadamitsu the Destroyer has very likable characters to the which have you rooting for them almost instantly despite the anime's short episode count. (Remember how much you cheered on Ichigo and Rukia in the first 10 episodes of bleach!)
|
|
|
many seiyū (voice actors) are the same
nothing else noticeable though
|
|
|
Trigun is a hilarious comedy but when the going gets tough for the characters it gets serious. They are both very similar. Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach is trying to save the world from evil spirits called Hollows. Vash the Stampede from Trigun is trying to save himself from the brink of INSANITY!
|
|
|
it's got the fantastic fights that go on for episodes at a time, it has the fantastic plots, defeating enemies ten times stronger than you, losing, then training then winning, the main character always faced with constant challenges, when i watched this, i couldn't help but think that i hadn't seen such a good fighting anime since DBZ. though many of the characters are nothing like each other, the style of the anime's are the same, if you enjoyed DBZ, go for bleach!
|
|
|
tense waiting to see just what special skill every sword has ( Bleach) and which special skill every ninja has (basilisk).Of course bleach is more full of action but it seems to me that basilisk is more artistic.
|
|
|
Sword fighting action and both main characters have another being in them!! XD
|
|
|
I personally believe that both of the series have good sword fights, though in truth that is subjectional to ones opinion. To me, the sword fights show a wide range of movement, which I also find to be realistic.
|
|
|
If you like good old shonen action, then this anime is just down you street.
|
|
|
Both have action, powerful characters, and comedy in it.
In Trinity blood the vaticans are trying to protect the people from the vampires, whereas in Bleach it is the job of the shinigami to protect the people from the hollows.
Also, both Kurosaki Ichigo and Peter Abel Nightroad are very similar in seriousness, power, protecting the people that are important to them and are funny when not fighting.
|
|
|
Bleach and Devil May Cry both have supernatural elements to them. Their protagonists are also very similair. Dante and Ichigo both lost thier mothers and feel responible for it. They also both have a link to the supernatural world in their particular series. Ichigo's is being a shimigami and Dante's being half-devil. Dante also has a awesomely cool sword which he uses as his one of his primary weapons. This show is very violent and not drawn out. It lasts for a total of 12 epsiodes and the ending raps everything up nicely!
|
|
|
The two are extremely similar.
its about a guy who meets a girl(s) and saves them from the evil supernatural being.
the girl then stays in the real/surface world and is happy, with the boy devolping his powers and saving the girl again.
then the girl is taken by some powerful evil guy who beats the main character and after recieving training from an old guy, goes with a group of friends down into the sprit/underground world, and fight they're way to save the girl.
sound familiar?
|
|
|
Mushrambo and Bleach have alot in common.
They have constant action, "forbidden" romance, transformations, an adventure, comedy and more. Both series have a journey to a certain goal, which is wildly chased throughout battle and action-packed settings. Both enemies as the protagonists are unique characters in everyone's own way.
|
|
|
Advent Children has a lot of sword fighting in it. If you liked it because of that you should definitely try out Bleach. The Shinigami are sword-wielding spirits, the animation is good and the story is even better.
|
|
|
Kurosaki Ichigo and Seiji Sawamura are very similar characters! Both of them is orange-haired and into fighting until they meet a girl and start to showing their soft sides and in that way get to know new friends (but in Bleach the girl are not on love with him). Both contains a lot of fighting and humor!
|
|
|
both have alot of fighting dreams love
