Tons of action and fight scenes in both shows. Basically both characters start out really, really sucky and you get to see them get their asses kicked time and time again. Eventually they become stronger to fight bigger baddies only to get their asses kicked...AGAIN. Power-ups galore.

If you like HOnorabl Bad Ass Heroes, good morals, and ghosts and demons. This is the stuff.
Hmmm... They both have main characters that have to fight against monsters... For example, Bleach with Hollows and Soul Eater with their 'demons'. Anyway, their plot are somewhat similar. It's about their main characters fighting for peace and things like that....
Both are Shonen titles with darker less cliche villains.
Both shows feature broken protagonists and enagmatic yet mysterious antagonists.
Both feature a nod to Bushido with the individuality of their weapons (be it Zanpakutoh or innocence).
Both shows feature a mirroing of their enemy, ie. Dark Matter vs Innocence or Vaizard and Arrancar.
Both shows have strong support characters whose support can steal away from the main character.
They are both well written moving between light and dark moments with a re-evaluation of whether the enemies are actually evil or just victims.
Somehow the story is a lot alike.. a guy lives a peacfully life until a mysterious girl comes and gives him power, and then they start fighting monsters together with that girl..
The characters in both series are striving to become more powerful by training their skill and strength. Both series are about supernatural powers and evil forces that they have to defeat (Bleach: arrancar, Claymore: youma). But more importantly, I find the character development in both series also very similar, both Clare and Ichigo have a motive to become stronger, Ichigo's motive is to protect his loved ones, Clare want's to become stronger in order to avenge her deceased surrogate mother.
Endless storylines with similar experiences for the Main characters.
Same theme going here. Central main character who has an unbelievable kind of power trying to stop evil from taking over the world.
Middle school girl with a sword and "magical" powers
Bleach is so simular to Inuyasha it's scary. If you like one, you'll probably like the other.
They are similar by the share intensity of each and every episode. You just want more and more. Its kind of hard holding back untill two episodes go past. But in comparison these two are both great
Bleach is really similar to Dragon Ball Z.It has evil villains that the world needs to be saved from and Both main characters shares almost the same beliefs.Bleach also has similar plot twists like dbz
While Bleach and naruto achieved massive popularity outside Japan, Kekkaishi seems very underrated outside Japan. Consistently in the top 10 in terms of viewership in Japan, kekkaishi shares the same shounen genre as its other more popular counterparts. while it does not boast legions of characters or long names for techniques, it takes the simple and often overlooked technique, the kekkai and expands it, giving it a fresher twist.
Both of these shows have male characters who start out as the rookie, but quickly acquire skills. The main character in both end up battling it out with increasingly powerful opponents and then often make friends with these opponents afterwards. Both have supporting friends who are not as powerful, but help out all they can. Air Gear definitely shares that similar shounen/action vibe.
Rurouni Kenshin is similar to Bleach as they both have swords, are action based mainly, have many funny moments and Kenshin, similar to Ichigo tries his best to protect his friends.
lots, and lots of awsome action with good animation, there are quite a few really funny jokes here and there, and the character designs r pretty origional, each character has a simple mordern teen look that suits there personalities, and the anime moves at a really fast paste most of the time
bleach and blood plus r the same because:
1. bolth have lots of blood and violence
2.bolth have bad creatures(blood+ creepy monsters, bleach hollows)
3.lots of sword play
i hope u check them out.thank you.
Main character meets a girl who he tries to save and she introduces him to a world of mages and magic. Has the same feeling as Bleach and both Ichigo and Touma share similar personality traits.
TONS of Bleach references in Gintama, also the characters are similar and both have that punk-shonen feel!
Bleach and Reborn are both a very energetic shounen and both have a very good story and of course interesting "powers" and I think both flow very well. in both of them there are cool fights and school life and great characters. And in my opinion if you watch bleach it would be great to try reborn as well.
I think its similar becoz its about almoust the same agenda, to be kage/shinigami,
in the story, allways fighting against evil (either Hollows or Kokuchis)...
but I cant compare all of Bleach to Monochrome coz bleach is larger Anime (168ep.~6ep.)
Both main can see ghost/zombies (:

Recommended :D
Both involve spirits and fighting even if the plots are waay differant
A shounen with a, in my opinion, little more mature approuch than Bleach, sacrificing a little bit of fighting for a lot more psychology etc.
A must-watch in my opinion!
They both have swords and other weapons. Then the chars have a huge amount of energy and they kill huge monsters.
Both have Shigonami, though in Bleach it is the concept that they take the souls to their final destination, in Shigonami, it is deleivering the last message of the dearly departed to the living. Appologies for the spelling of a certain word.
Bleach are inspired in Saint Seiya. If you liked Bleach, you will like Saint Seiya.
Both have Shingami, though in one case it seems that the shingami play the bad guys. There are also action scenes in both.
Both involves spirits/ghosts either to fight or used in fighting.
The action is same in the sense that there's guys in uniform wielding blades and cutting stuff or people down. The main story is somewhat similar in the sense that one of the main characters grow up into a world they thought they knew but experience a different one-the first bleach arc and samurai 7's story are similar with respect to that view-

In both the main guy meets a girl in uncommon circumstances, and thanks to this encounter the guy's life changes drastically, and he gets some kind of super power.
Some characters are similar, and also, the above said girl has an older brother in both cases.
These series are both shounen with great music, animation, and character design, and with well-done, but dragged-on fights.
They both have awesome sword fights and are GAR
In fact, Afro Samurai is even better since it has a normal plot line and a black dude as the main character.
<3 Ichigo
great anime...
love..
action..
Both have monstruous fights and have super attacks...^^
The supporting characters have quite a bit of character depth. They are also dealing with being able to see spirits, while others do not.
Lots of action and amazing storyline.

Both of the main characters see dead people.

Both use big swords to kill demons with both the main characters killing demons, without the world knowing that demons exist

This is a very funny anime that can make a bad day good. Plus the crazy doodles in bleach can be seen in this a little.

As far as shounen action series go, Bleach has become something of a measuring stick and Sadamitsu the Destroyer measures up quite well. If you replace Hollows with aliens, you pretty much have the concept of Sadamitsu the Destroyer. Both are about somewhat delinquent high school students who are thrust into fighting monsters with powers they don't completely understand. In addition Sadamitsu the Destroyer has very likable characters to the which have you rooting for them almost instantly despite the anime's short episode count. (Remember how much you cheered on Ichigo and Rukia in the first 10 episodes of bleach!)
many seiyū (voice actors) are the same
nothing else noticeable though
Trigun is a hilarious comedy but when the going gets tough for the characters it gets serious. They are both very similar. Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach is trying to save the world from evil spirits called Hollows. Vash the Stampede from Trigun is trying to save himself from the brink of INSANITY!
it's got the fantastic fights that go on for episodes at a time, it has the fantastic plots, defeating enemies ten times stronger than you, losing, then training then winning, the main character always faced with constant challenges, when i watched this, i couldn't help but think that i hadn't seen such a good fighting anime since DBZ. though many of the characters are nothing like each other, the style of the anime's are the same, if you enjoyed DBZ, go for bleach!
tense waiting to see just what special skill every sword has ( Bleach) and which special skill every ninja has (basilisk).Of course bleach is more full of action but it seems to me that basilisk is more artistic.
Sword fighting action and both main characters have another being in them!! XD
I personally believe that both of the series have good sword fights, though in truth that is subjectional to ones opinion. To me, the sword fights show a wide range of movement, which I also find to be realistic.
If you like good old shonen action, then this anime is just down you street.
Both have action, powerful characters, and comedy in it.
In Trinity blood the vaticans are trying to protect the people from the vampires, whereas in Bleach it is the job of the shinigami to protect the people from the hollows.
Also, both Kurosaki Ichigo and Peter Abel Nightroad are very similar in seriousness, power, protecting the people that are important to them and are funny when not fighting.
Bleach and Devil May Cry both have supernatural elements to them. Their protagonists are also very similair. Dante and Ichigo both lost thier mothers and feel responible for it. They also both have a link to the supernatural world in their particular series. Ichigo's is being a shimigami and Dante's being half-devil. Dante also has a awesomely cool sword which he uses as his one of his primary weapons. This show is very violent and not drawn out. It lasts for a total of 12 epsiodes and the ending raps everything up nicely!
The two are extremely similar.
its about a guy who meets a girl(s) and saves them from the evil supernatural being.
the girl then stays in the real/surface world and is happy, with the boy devolping his powers and saving the girl again.
then the girl is taken by some powerful evil guy who beats the main character and after recieving training from an old guy, goes with a group of friends down into the sprit/underground world, and fight they're way to save the girl.

sound familiar?
Mushrambo and Bleach have alot in common.

They have constant action, "forbidden" romance, transformations, an adventure, comedy and more. Both series have a journey to a certain goal, which is wildly chased throughout battle and action-packed settings. Both enemies as the protagonists are unique characters in everyone's own way.
Advent Children has a lot of sword fighting in it. If you liked it because of that you should definitely try out Bleach. The Shinigami are sword-wielding spirits, the animation is good and the story is even better.
Kurosaki Ichigo and Seiji Sawamura are very similar characters! Both of them is orange-haired and into fighting until they meet a girl and start to showing their soft sides and in that way get to know new friends (but in Bleach the girl are not on love with him). Both contains a lot of fighting and humor!
both have alot of fighting dreams love
