I rented and watched videos for a while, in the order of Disney movies, Doraemon movies, Urusei Yatsura movies, and Disney movies, like an endless loop.
The Lupin III TV special and the movie version also started to fall into that weird loop from the middle of the movie.
Yes, you are right, "Beautiful Dreamer" is the second movie one. Personally, I like this one and Kanketsuhen's 5th movie. the second one is directed by Mamoru Oshii, but I remember that the original author, Rumiko Takahashi, hated Beautiful Dreamer. The original author liked "Only You" but still hates "2" the most.
The TV anime is kind of on a loop too much with the movie version, so I haven't actually seen it. I did read the manga from time to time. I mean, the first or second manga I bought was Urusei Yatsura.
Oh, you are watching the older version of Urusei Yatsura, aren't you? I think it's rare.
