i have seen monogatari, deadman wonderland, higurashi is so far my masterpiece and umineko i dropped it since i was looking for something with romance in it.... seems like i wont ever find it... :p

Haha, I've certainly heard of Steins. It's just that Chaos;Head (or whatever nonsensical punctuation was employed) left me with an abiding suspicion towards anything related to it.
From what I can see, Steins actually is populated by children (the oldest front page character is what, 19?), which, again, makes me naturally suspicious. That said, I have heard a few other voices here and there trumpeting for me to watch it.

Thank you. To be honest, I'm somewhat pleased with the Spice and Wolf review, myself, if only because I was apparently the first to look beyond the two main characters. I am currently with some actual expectation following the novels, and it is nice to see how the author himself after a particularly character-driven volume complains how he put in so few economics and promises to make it better in the next.
As for Steins;Gate, well, I might need to pick it up as it comes up for discussion soon-ish (unless I missed that round while on vacation), but to be honest I'm not really keen on watching most new shows at the moment. I've basically had it with any show that focuses on some weirdly gifted children and their sense of baseless drama. After I've finished what's on my direct pile, I'll probably keep myself to shows featuring only adult mains for a while.
