IS2 was just to kill my brain cells, you can test your ability to predict next 5 minutes easly while Prison School was just so surreal and pure fun.

Totally agree, Prison School is kinda ironically good in my opinion though. It has no business being as entertaining or well construction as it is, considering it's premise, but the show is really well put together and thought out. The premise is just completely absurd, but I guess that's part of the humor. It's hard not to laugh my ass off watching the show. I feel like the only "legit" anime of the season is Ushio to Tora, but it's not much more than a retro throwback. Gangsta. started off decent, but is lacking presentation and isn't really engaging overall.

Yeah they could really work on touching up the animation for Prison School, even though the char designs look great, some of the cgi is pretty ugly and I can't imagine how great it would be with like a Golden Boy level dub.

Yeah... I know what you mean man, sometimes I wonder why I even bother with weekly airing stuff. I guess just to feel like I'm "up to date" with whats going on. There are always going to be a few gems hidden away among the sewage though. Garo, Ping Pong, Jojo, Yamato 2199 some of the animator expo shorts... I heard they're doing a Drifters anime (maker of Hellsing with the same production as Hellsing Ultimate). This season is particularly poor though...

Yeah moving sucks, having a stable situation financially, schedule-wise and of course housing always helps. Personally taking a break from anime has done me good. I don't mean entirely, but a significant cut-back. Been spending more time working and training in the gym. Everything in moderation I guess. Anime is fun, but yeah recently I don't feel like they're targeting my specific demographic.

I'll take my chances

I'm iffy about it too, but I like to see a show before I form an opinion on it.
