A little bit of history:
My love for anime started when I was 7 and watched Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon on tv - and actually, here it ened too.
Funny isn't it?
Next when I was 13 I watched Noir on German VIVA (didn't understand it at all, but watched) and again, that's it.
And here we are in the moment where my adult love for anime started, I was 22 and I remembered that in the past I watched this anime, it wasn't like for kids, there were guns and crimes and bud guys and what was that title...?
Noir.
Yup.
I watched it again when I was 22 and the Pandora's Box was open.
The next one I remember was Naruto and Ghost Hunt...
And now I'm a huuuuuuge (20+ yeras old) anime fan ^^

About my rating system:
10-6 -> good titles (logically, 10 is the best of good, 6 is the worst of good but still kinda good xD)
5-1 -> bad titles or 'titles-U-shouldn't-watch-or-read-just-leave-your-house-and-simply-meet-new-people-you-NO-LIFE!' ;) and logic is here too 5 is the best from the most boring titles xD and 1 is the worst! Tada!
I'm pretty crazy about dramas too - but mostly Korean (I don't like Japanese, too much happily-ever-after for me).

Nino is a refreshing character....maybe not really ditzy, but a bit of an airhead at times. She is very loyal...her strongest point.

I didn't make my comment to make you feel stupid. You probably have your own valid reasons for comparing them. I just wanted to see what you were getting at. Yes, Ichigo is a moron. Kenshin is one of those rare MC's in anime who really is a man in every way.
I really like Nino in Arakawa...she was the real reason for me watching both seasons. Ditzy, but very nice and quite cute!!!

I was looking at your recommendation....and I fail to see how you can compare Ichigo to Kenshin. I find Ichigo to be a pompous A**, whereas Kenshin is just a tortured man trying to make some amends for his past. I know they both use swords, but Ichigo has this giant ego, whereas Kenshin is a humble, thoughtful man. What are your thoughts on this? BTW is your avatar Nino form Arakawa Under The Bridge?
