Sci-Fi must have a vendetta against us Gurren fans to keep us without a new episode for two weeks. The..the..fiends! Jk. That sucks but oh well. Life goes on. Super Mario RPG came out on the virtual console today and I downloaded it having heard glowing praise of it. I hope it's good.

Luci Christian has the honor of being one of the few English VAs that can pull of both child and adult voices. Her work as Wrath (Fullmetal Alchemist) and Tenma (School Rumble) are favorites of mine as well.
Now I'm looking even more forward to watching the series. It sounds like it'd be right up my alley. :)

I liked it, it failed in comparison to another school based comedy I watched recently (cough) School Rumble (cough) but it was fairly amusing. Luci Christain and Chris Paton totally made the Anime for me, their performances were spot on. I've heard the original series is cliche yet enjoyable at the same time. It's all about the execution I guess. ;3
Utawaremuno and Serial Experiments Lain are next on my agenda. :)

I've read some mixed reviews over Batman Gothem Knight, but I'd like to see it. I enjoyed the animated Batman series which was created in the mid 90s. Although, I hate the newest animated series which has borrowed a few storylines from the original Batman TAS and dumbed them down with crap animation (at least the background, anyways). I liked Batman Beyond though. It was kinda cool.
If they were to make a Superman version, then I would be all over that! Superman is AWESOME! There's another Superman movie coming out, it's called Superman: Man of Steel. It's going to be way more action packed than any of the other Superman movies, so I look forward to that.

I thought about checking out the spinoff manga to Elemental Gelade, but I didn't like the anime well enough to do so. It wasn't that it was bad, it's just doesn't suit my taste very well. A while ago, they announced that they were working on an anime iteration of the spinoff manga. I might check out the anime version, once it comes out.

Most people would assume that since I hold high regards for the anime (E7) that the manga would be high up on the list too, but that couldn't be further from the truth. I hated the manga. It had a good start, but the plot twists in volume 5 were predictable. Volume 6 took the series all the way downhill. I believe the manga took the appeal that originally drew the fans into the series and stomped on it repeatedly. It had a terrible ending. The manga follows a different storyline.
I wonder what happened to GameTalk? Mike die or something?

Do clothes constitute as a good present? It's all I need at this point. I'm becoming less of a gamer as the days pass. I spent most of today hanging out with this girl that I'm into. We're not dating or anything, but she certainly makes it seem that way from time to time. I didn't bother announcing my birthday to anyone else besides her.
I read about FMA2 on ANN. It's interesting that they're actually going to continue the series even though there isn't much left to elaborate on. I'm hoping they don't ruin an already great series. It doesn't bother me though, either way I'm still going to enjoy the first part of FMA to the fullest extent even if the sequel sucks.
I'm working on Macross Frontier for now. It's good, for the most part. Other than that, I haven't been working on many other series. I catch the latest episode of Code Geass R2 as the release, but that's like an episode a week. On occasion, I'll watch an episode of two of the Case Closed dub, since I have all the episodes at the tips of my fingers.
I recently finished a movie called 5 Centimeters Per Second, which was awesome. It described my relationship with this one girl so well, or at least the first couple of episodes did. I'm also working on the Naruto Shippuuden and Bleach fillers. They aren't that bad though. I downloaded Rebuild of Evangelion and I plan on watching that sometime later this week.
It took me a few months, but I finally unlocked all the characters of Naruto Ultimate Ninja 3. Well, I should phrase that I little differently. My nephew unlocked all the characters. I've been too busy to really play video games, although I did take the time out to play as Yondaime. Things have been really hectic the past few months, so I typically go straight to my stress reliever, which is anime. I don't have the patience to finish a video game.
How's the job hunt going? Found anything interesting?

Thanks for the well wishes. I'm sure I'll be just fine but the first few days will be a bit hectic as I adjust. There's a 24/7 computer lab just a 2 minute walk away from the dorm that I can use if I want to access the Internet though. Sounds like it's a cool game. I bought Bioshock a few days ago as you probably know but I haven't had much time to play it. Booo.

Same here. I saw the first few eps of Fumofu through my Anime club and now, a year later, I'm finally watching the rest. I'll probably watch the first series later. Sigh. Packing has really been sucking the soul out of me, it's such a pain in the ass but you gotta do what you gotta do. -_-; I won't have Internet for a couple days until I get the university Internet guy to hook me up.
