So happy to have found this site! This might sound sort of cliché, but I’ve been hooked on anime since Cartoon Network first aired Sailor Moon and Dragonball Z on Toonami. So you can bet that my anime library is huge; it’s such a relief to be able it in one place.
I LOVE a good English subbed anime with sharp animation with a great plot backing it up. Even though I prefer the Japanese audio to English dubbing, I do enjoy some dubs.
I'm a fan of short, compacted anime and mangas. It's not so much that I have anything against longer ones but they tend to get heavy with fillers and therefore a little irritating and frustrating to watch for the story to get back on track.
I’m also a little picky about what series and movies to watch. My all-time FAVORITE anime genres are FANTASY, SUPERNATURAL, DRAMA, ACTION, and especially PSYCHOLOGICAL & HORROR. However, I’m not a big fan of Mecha, Romances with too much fluff, or Hentei.

I didn't even notice but we are both Floridians. imagine that, lol. But anyhow, I'll just warn you in advance, if after watching Berserk you find yourself compelled to pick up the Manga you will have to start reading it from the beginning. The anime does a good job adapting the story but leaves out some very important events and characters that are essential to the later storyline.
The good news is that by reading the Manga not only will you get the full story, but you will also get to watch as Miura improves his artwork (noticeably every 2-3 volumes) and how the series literally evolves into the masterpiece that it is today. That is assuming you enjoy the anime as much as I suspect you will.
