The PV doesn't exactly show much but I like the girls design and the music at least. I'll try to keep an eye on this one

yesss was waiting for this for foreverrr. I remember the creator saying somewhere that he was inspired by both madoka and dokuro chan so I've fully been expecting something like kill la kill. the leads honestly might be like dokuro chan, a chick and a guy ie anarchy and otaku hero.

i never even said that all harems were isekai, i just made a joke because lets be real almost evry isekai has some harem in it.

Joke or no joke, but as you can see, there are still weirdos who really think so. But anyway, with the same logic, you could say that all shonen are shows like Naruto.
i mean yea, if i said it as a joke. Ofc not all shounen are like naruto. Thats the joke.

Even if we are ignorant and pretend that all isekai are harems, do you seriously continue to insist that harems cannot be non-isekai? Did you start watching anime just yesterday?

This PV looks really fun, I hope it is as deranged as it looks.

There isn't that many magical girl series being made nowadays, I really hope this ends up being even somewhat good...

There is actually, Precure has been every year since 2004 for one. Sailor Moon Cosmos is in production, we just had another installment of Magi Record less than a year ago. There is PriMagi as well though it focuses more on the music/performance end. There is also Tokyo Mew Mew New right now. Machikado Mazoku, etc. But mostly Toei Animation has that market effectly covered.
I wasn't counting the new Pretty Cure every year or reboots of older magical girl series.

Don't get me wrong, I like different types of stories in the genre (including edgy types), but what happened to classic shoujo magical girls?

Anyways back to the conversation, I wasn't expecting Ai Fairouz to take this MG role too so fast, she just played the lead in Tropical Rouge Precure last year xD

She is a rising star, which is why she is increasingly given the role of eccentric or edgy MC. In general, a sort of mixture of Aoi Yuuki and Jeff Hardy, lol.

The fact that I love yuri has nothing to do with it! @ another batch of salty complaints about male MCs and comforting yourself with hopes that the male character is not an MC - ok.

Just watch - a person who hates the genre and watched it a lot less than me tries to lecture me about it - ok.

Look man, just don't waste your time and mine, okay?

Ignoring facts with "Ok". Tell lot of stuff.

Fine for me. Have good day sir.

Unironically reffering to your opinion as "facts" @ trying to be sarcastic about someone else's argument - indeed, "ok" is the best choice here.

I like Yuri. That true. But that do nothing with this topic. Male MC usually not as good as Female MC's. Cuz Male MC easily lead to either 2 terrible type of MC. Virgin harem guy or the OP mc guy.
For the context yes i think i miss that. But i don't think the Okatu Hero is the main guy. Judge by the Picture the red head is the MC.. Or All the 4 is important as a Team.

For the other topic. I think this time you the one who don't understand anything. Just watch most of the Isekai/reicarnation anime that has Male MC... it almost every time is harem or ecchi with OP MC... Mecha, Comedy and Female MC that only can save that Themes.

I'm already tired of the endless whining about shonen, but that's not the point. Mahou shoujo is one of the most famous and mainstream anime genres, if that's what you're talking about. To the point that, like mecha, it forms the majority of anime stereotypes outside of the fandom. It's not about the popularity of mahou shoujo, it's always popular. The point is that 90% of the genre is the so-called "eternal franchises". But people ignore them because they usually perceive them as an ongoing old show and not an actual anime.

I'm not sure where I was "whining" I was speaking from personal experience when promoting Precure for instance. I watch every genre and loads of old and new stuff so I could care less what people's preferences are.

I'm just tired of using shonens as a catch-all for discussing little attention to certain genres. As for PreCure, it's literally mahou shoujo with a shonen tropes frame lol.

If you say so but that sounds like nit picking to me, in western shock and awe casual audiences shounen tends to dominate regardless. This speaking from loads of experience to get said audience into the genre, walking on water would be easier.

People tend to ignore "eternal" franchises, but I don't think parody/satire shows like MM play a role. With the same logic, you can use all-female seinen as an example of shoujo. So, all we have left is a Sailor Moon reboot and Madoka ? Not much.

I could immediately write that you are one of those yuri fanboys who have a caricature bias against male characters and male fantasy shows. It would save a lot of time and effort. You hate it so much that you didn't even notice the context in which I asked my question.

UPD. Oh, judging by your wall, we've had exactly the same argument before. I take it you don't understand anything.
