Grand Carnival' Gets OVA

The Fate Project Oomisoka TV Special 2020 program aired a special anime short titled Fate/Grand Carnival on Thursday and concluded with a two-part original video anime (OVA) announcement. The program also announced the staff, cast, and a key visual (pictured). The first and second "seasons" are scheduled for release on June 2 and August 25, respectively, with a duration of approximately 30 minutes each.

The opening theme of Carnival Phantasm, "Super☆Affection," will be reused for the OVA. Voice actresses Rie Takahashi, Minami Tanaka, Rumi Ookubo, Aoi Yuuki (Shuten Douji), Nao Touyama (Ibaraki Douji), Ayane Sakura, Saori Hayami, Ayako Kawasumi, Kana Ueda, Sakura Tenge, and Mai Kadowaki (Sitonai) are performing the opening theme as their respective characters.

Just watched the special. IT. WAS. HILARIOUS! Pure Fate GO madness packed in 13 minutes. If each episode will be as wacky as this special then we're in for a total riot of laughs.

2020 end up with an utterly shambolic anime from Rumi Ookubo, but 2021 will start sprightly if I can stick with her for another anime.

I don't even ask about anime adaptations anymore. I just pray to every god I know so they to release an official English localization. Even if the English version is half a year delayed, I don't care, I just want it to exist.
