'Fate/Grand Order' Franchise Gets Two New Special Episodes for New Year's Eve

FGO Akihabara Matsuri, an event for the Fate/Grand Order franchise which was held on Saturday via Niconico Live broadcast, has announced that there will be two new special episodes to be broadcast during New Year's Eve via Tokyo MX, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, and BS11 between 10:00 p.m. and 11:55 p.m. The broadcast will also include a special talk show to look back at this year's release as well as discuss the announcements of the new works slated for 2018. It will also be livestreamed via Niconico Live.

Fate/Grand Order: Himuro no Tenchi - 7-nin no Saikyou Gijin-hen is based on Himuro no Tenchi Fate/school Life 4-koma spin-off manga featuring Kaede Makidera, Kane Himuro, and Yukiko Saegusa.

I'm all good with these, but want a full tv series!

I mean come on! The first part of Grand Order is already over in the game! Even the 2nd/1.5th part "Epic of Remnant" is nearing the end. The English will already be having London in a few days... So why not a TV series!?

Well, as long as I can see Mashu it's fine for me but it doesn't change the fact that I'm already getting tired of more Fate/insert random shit.

I never thought I see school life adapted. Great. But don't expect fighting and stuff. It is basically a comedy that USB set in a world where the hgw hasn't happened

More interested in the 2nd one. It's probably not a sequel to First Order. Given the key visual and description, it's probably an animated version of Mashu's past and her life in Chaldea. We already got some idea of it in the game but it would be interesting to see it animated and expanded upon. Wonder if this will have some importance to part 2 of FGO main story. Either way, Nasu wrote this so I'm excited.

Despite the flaws that Fate/Grand Order has as a game and as an anime OVA (well Fuyuki arc was meh tbh) I'm looking forward to these.

Of course the two being made by different studios (one of them already worked on it, as well as the director already worked on the series before + Nasu is doing the scripts? o.o) and one of them is by Ufo, I'm actually looking forward to this.

And wait, what Ufo is doing a Slice of Life? o.o Huh. That'll be interesting since they haven't done an actual legit SoL in like so damn long.

I am sure they are. Just simply teasing ppl enough with this specials so that they can do a full cour anime later. Its relly more about when and not if it ever gets one, since its a quite popular fate.
