You're back! How was the hiatus?
Ando Yesterday, 4:01 PM
Episode 3:

I'm gonna put this series on hold for now. It seems like you're a bit busy with life atm. I hope everything is okay! Fighto!

I'll wait for ya; it's more fun that way :)
D-Niyu Yesterday, 11:52 AM
I wish i could express what i mean but i guess i can't change your oppinion, thank you that you think this way♥
sorry for the short reply, i would write more but my brain is ded atm X)
i hope we can talk again soon!
Ando Yesterday, 1:11 AM
I just finished the first episode of Kekkai Sensen! A day late ‘cause when I got home yesterday, my little cousin and brother were over. We hung out and played Mario Kart on the Switch for a while :)
Anyways, here are my thoughts on episode 1:

I got to episode 2 before I went to sleep even after the NFL Conference Championship games and Genesis 5! I guess I am sort of technically late ‘cause it’s past 12, it actually doesn’t count, ‘cause I haven’t slept yet! Yeah, let’s go with that πŸ˜‹
On to episode 2!
Ando Jan 18, 8:23 PM
Just watched the 2nd episode of After the Rain, and it was really great! I didn't want the episode to end, and I was smiling throughout with how cute and funny the show was :)

Not sure if it's your cup of tea though, 'cause I know the show is aimed towards guys. But the manager/male lead is cute, in a caring, dorky, fatherly kind of way haha. I didn't care for the female lead at first, but she can be pretty cute too and is growing on me. It was a really enjoyable episode, and ending it with the ED by Aimer made it even better πŸ˜‹
I hope it keeps up!

Alright, so I was on the very last paragraph of my reply and all of a sudden, the power goes off 😭
I even copied the reply as I was writing it in case I swiped back on my mouse. I’m never writing my replies on MAL again! LOL. Anyways, here we go again!

Hey! I decided to reply right before you got back so I can include updates and such. I guess I’ll start off with the bad news. I haven’t really looked into voice acting much at all since we last talked. I spent a ton of time watching watching videos of the Falcons since we were in the playoffs for 2+ weeks, but I also had other free time that I spent on anime and such. In other words, I have no excusable excuse πŸ˜“
I think I’ll be posting videos on YT eventually, though. I’ll have to look into getting a microphone and learn about the whole fandubbing process!

Also, Walmart moved me from the deli to the bakery. My hours in terms of scheduling are consistent now. I was sometimes working 5am-2pm and then working 2-11 the next day, but now I’m working 8:30-5:30. My off days are still inconsistent, but that’s how Walmart works for associates. The bakery is less messy, I’m just stocking bakery items, so it’s easy, and the best part is that I’m still getting the same pay even though deli associates make more money haha.

As for anime, since you left, the winter season of anime has started! I’m only keeping up with 2 shows right now though. I haven’t looked forward to watching a show as much as Violet Evergarden since Glasslip, which was unfortunately a major disappoint >< But Violet Evergarden is absolutely gorgeous, and I can already tell that I’m gonna have to go through a lot of feels with this show haha. The character designs are great too :)
My 2nd show is After the Rain. It’s about a high school girl who works part-time at a family restaurant and falls in love with the manager, who’s a middle-aged man. I’m a pretty open-minded person, so the synopsis doesn’t bother me much at all. What really drew me in was that it’s animated by WIT Studio, directed by the director of Space Brothers, and the ED is by Aimer. I thought the 1st episode was just okay, but from reading the comments on Reddit and MAL, it seems like people really liked the 1st episode. We’ll see how it goes!

On to the reply:
Hmm, what do you mean when you say I’m self-aware? I’m curious! :)

It didn’t make me sad. It’s a cute gif :) There’s actually a pretty similar gif out there of her getting ready for the day… found it!
I’m pretty sure they’re not by the same artist though. I like looking at anime art, so I have this habit of looking up the source of art that I like so I can follow the artist on Twitter/pixiv πŸ˜‹
Also, I have no idea when I’ll be re-watching the show because I get so emotional around it LOL. It took me a while to get through the manga, because I would always had to mentally prepare myself to read it πŸ˜‚

I’m really looking forward to seeing how the portray Ren in P5. A lot of his replies from the game make him seem so smug, and it’s great :D
I also want to take a break from airing anime, but I don’t think that’s gonna happen until at least the fall season. So many great shows!
And speaking of new adaptations, I’m really looking forward to watching Yakusoku no Neverland whenever it gets an adaptation. It’s doing really well in Japan right now, and I’ve heard nothing but good things from its manga readers. But it might take about another year or so, since it only has 70 chapters out right now.

Maybe it’s because Walmart has more competition in other places? Or maybe because Walmart originated in the south? Idk, but working in the bakery makes me want to eat everything LOL. I’ve gotten a sweet tooth in the past year or so, and this definitely isn’t helping πŸ˜‹

Thanks for the good luck and encouragement :)
I’ll look into local opportunities and will probably join the acting classes in the fall!

That’s really cool that you were able to try it out while waiting at the dentist. But if you don’t already have a PS4, I would get one just to play Persona 5 haha. The theme/style is so nice!
Also, I’m not sure if I ever mentioned this, but the Zero Escape series is one of my all-time favorite game series, and it’s out on Steam now if you ever want to play a new game without having to get a console!

I guess we both have a crush on Todoroki πŸ˜‚
Thinking about the series has really gotten me excited to watch S3. I remember I was always thinking, “So where will the story go from here?” after each arc, and then it always managed to surprise me with great plot points, characters, revelations, and execution with each new arc. Spring is going to be so exciting :)

Uchiage Hanabi doesn’t actually release on blu-ray until April 18th, so there’s no way to watch it yet :(
Maybe you can try watching Monogatari in MP4 format? Subtitles on MKV disappear when you go back or forward, but MP4 is burned in. I’ve been converting a lot of my anime with Handbrake recently, ‘cause I rewind a few seconds at a time so much.
I really like monologues too! I really enjoy being able to get into the head of a character. I realized this when I was reading HakoMari and the protagonist becomes seriously insane in the later volumes. It was so much fun being able to go into his mind and his thought processes.
That’s also a reason I decided to read Re:Zero. Being in Subaru’s head has been really cool, and I haven’t even gotten to the super crazy parts yet!
And I just noticed that you haven’t seen Re:Zero yet :O I guess I just assumed you’ve seen it already (Idk why), so I never brought it up when we were talking about mysteries. It definitely has its mysteries, especially in the first two arcs. It’s somewhere in my top 10, but Idk where yet… so 11 is a placeholder for now. But yeah, if you ever want to watch a psychological fantasy thriller, it’d be my top recommendation :)
Anyways, back to Monogatari haha. If you ever decide to read it, the Kizumonogatari book is of really nice quality, and I’m going to guess this applies to the rest of the books too. But I actually only really read while laying down before going to bed, so I just stick to reading ebooks (and I like being able to define a word by just highlighting it). But Vertical, the publishing company for the series doesn’t sell ebooks, although it does have an audiobook for Kizu. The voice for Oshino is super spot on, and the rest of the voices were good too, so I enjoyed it!
Talking about Monogatari really makes me watch to watch it haha. I think I’ll pick it back up again soon 😊

It was hella tiring but glad I got it done xD
Yes I am from the land of aloha, ... that is Hawaii! 🌺
I really love and enjoy it here a lot.
I was actually born in a place that snows, haven't seen snow since my baby days tbh. x'[
I see, it's always nice to go to a friend's even on the holidays c:
I think SSY just became one of my favorites. It was amazing and I really came to like the characters. Also, can't deny it has beautiful OST.

Just watching the loops in melancholy of haruhi suzumiya for like 4 times or more (really can't remember haha) was so tiring and it bores me to watch repetitive things. I notice though that whenever each episode was kind of a repeat there's only something slightly different in the next ep and then the next.
That so? I think it's fine as long as we are talking about something right? Lol. And yeah actually I was on break not for January but starting in the middle of December until the 2nd week of January so about a good 3 weeks. And really just over the break I went to the beach with friends (winter time haha) and watched movies and also spent holidays with my family and friends :3

And NIIICE, wish I could visit Australia one day! First time going there or no?
Definitely tell me about your trip when you come back >w<
I'd love to hear about it!
Fraylia Jan 12, 9:32 AM

I see you in the comments section for so many shorts I happened to watch I thought I'd say hi, that's all.

-Benji Jan 8, 6:35 PM
Oh really? Haha.
But disorganized you don't seem to be. Maybe you're in the middle of both. Well, keeping a schedule isn't easy, I tried to, but isn't my thing.
I can procrastinate even here. But isn't my fault, the time pass so fast. :P

I think the native language is different, I mean, you learn, but you do not have grammar, vocabulary or things like that, you learn without worry. And over time you improve naturally and do not even think, whether it's good or bad. But well, I agree, some things are difficult to forget, even if you don't remember one hundred percent of it.

Oh, I like to see the sea, but nothing more. Interesting that I'd like to visit some cities with beaches, but of course, some of them are extremely beautiful cities. Like some of Greece.
Here, southwest and I suppose south as well, aren't that great for beaches. Except, perhaps, for two states. The water is way too dark, gray, I don't remember much. I read, for curiosity why the color of ocean differs in many places, but well, I have the impression that some regions of the globe seems to posses the water more crystalline.
Greece seems to be quite interesting, the history, culture, the stunning blue ocean.
Oh, I don't know, sometimes I find something new and well...
I hope you enjoy your trip! I don't know much about Australia, but it seems to be a nice place.

I already read about the Portuguese nightlife be more calm. It is not that chaos that usually is in some places. I've already thought about living there, who knows.
Oh, I think sometimes when we are in an extremely active city, we would like a little quieter and when we are in a quiet place, we would like to be in an active city, at least, I know some people who fits into this case.
