Light Novel 'Hell Mode: Yarikomizuki no Gamer wa Hai Settei no Isekai de Musou suru' Gets TV Anime
Publisher Earth Star Entertainment announced a television anime adaptation for Hamuo's Hell Mode: Yarikomizuki no Gamer wa Hai Settei no Isekai de Musou suru (Hell Mode: The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing) light novel on Thursday, revealing an announcement promo.
Hamuo began writing the adventure fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in November 2019. Earth Star Entertainment acquired and published the novel under their Earth Star Novel imprint, featuring illustrations by Mo (Tensei Kizoku no Isekai Boukenroku: Jichou wo Shiranai Kamigami no Shito). Earth Star Entertainment released the tenth volume on September 13.
Enji Tetta began drawing a manga adaptation on the Comic Earth☆Star magazine in October 2020. The ninth volume was shipped on July 12, with the tenth volume scheduled to be released on December 12.
J-Novel Club licensed both the light novel and manga in English. The sixth light novel volume went on sale on November 19, with the seventh volume planned for a February 18, 2025 release. The fourth manga volume shipped on August 7, with the fifth volume set to be released on December 25.
Synopsis
"Level up even while offline?! That's not a game on 'easy mode'—that's just an AFK game!" The online game Kenichi Yamada had been playing religiously is shutting down its servers, leaving him with a void in his heart. He looks for a new game to fill it, but everything he finds is way too easy. The kind of game he likes—the kind punishing enough to make players want to spend thousands of hours on it—just isn't around anymore.
"What's this? 'You are invited to a game that will never end.'" Kenichi stumbles upon an untitled game, one promising incomparable challenge with unprecedented potential. Without hesitation, he selects the "Hell Mode" difficulty. Lo and behold, he finds himself reincarnated in another world as a serf! Now called Allen, he sets out to unlock the secrets of his mystery-laden Summoner class; without the convenience of walkthroughs, game guides, or online forums, he must grope his way to the top of his new world! @EcchiGodMamster Black hair isn't uncommon, but that's to be expected from a non-european nation, remember most races do not have blond or red hair, and some don't even have brown.
As for hiding his abilities, i'll give you that one, but he still has a justifiable reason for it.

@EcchiGodMamster Actually no, it's not that his ability is weak, he actively hides it and his class is so high tier that they literally can't tell what it is, and it's a good thing he did as we find out later in the story.
Not gonna claim the story is amazing, but it's not the kind of story where the mc is automatically looked down on because of his ability.
