Didn't expect vol.1 to accumulate to 7.6K. I am sure vol. 2 onward will do pretty good as well. I was expecting the numbers to be around 5.5K/volume so I am really happy for the numbers.
However, Hibike! Euphonium and Nichijou will go down in the anime history as two most underappreciated KyoAni TV series of all time.

I'm not that happy for Utapri since I didn't like S4, but congrats for selling 50k copies. I hope the new sequel won't screw it up.
OMG YOI IS SELLING SO GREAT. I'm so happy, can't wait to see the next week sales, hope vol.2 sell more than 50k.

Kyoani odes it again and Utapri passes 50k :)
OP gold is one of those movies that will sell slowly for years.

51k so far for Utapri's first volume combined sales - a respectable amount. It's unlikely to do better than the previous seasons, but sales-wise it's not a complete disaster... so far.
Looks like YOI's slowing down, hope it breaks 70k in the long run.

I feel sad seeing Saiki not selling well like that :(

Well I'm not expecting UtaPri to go out just yet with the first week sales, but Saiki even though it has disappointing sales, a second season has already been announced, not that I'm complaining.
Nice that Haikyuu, Binan and Kuromukuro and Magic Kyun are all selling somewhat well. I'm not sure if Ginga Kikoutai's sales are good or not as it's a movie, but it seems good.

Uta Prince doing well as expected. I was hoping Saiki Kusuo no Ψ-nan would do better, oh well.

I am not saying Hibike! sales are bad. Not being disrespectful but there are many studious out there that would probably trade their intellectual properties to reach Kyoto Animation's disc numbers.
What I am saying is it's not that good. Hibike! numbers are some of Kyoto Animation's lower-tier numbers. They fall in the same category as Kyoukai no Kanata (6K) or Amagi Brilliant Park (6.7K) when they should have done like Chuunibyou S1 or Hyouka at the very least, if not better.
Btw, Nichijou is one of those amazing anime that were appreciated later. It actually sold 125% of the original release when it was re-released years later. This almost never happens in modern day anime and that is my sole consolation for it.
Who knows, maybe Hibike! will be appreciated more few years from now. It's the only anime to made it in Top 3 TV Anime of 2016 in bangumi, 2ch and anikore.
