A drop as you'd expect for any long running series but not a sizeable one, Fairy Tail sales have always been fairly consistent.

Volume 55 after 7 days - 224,927 (including LE)
Volume 56 after 9 days - 249,190
Volume 57 after 9 days - 236,321 (LE not counted for)

You should be happy. It got a manga boost. It never ranked on Oricon before but now it does.

Volume 5 barely charted after the anime and then sales have been increasing:

Wonderful!!! Also interesting that even though vol. 8 in total sold less than vol. 7 in its first week, vol. 8 in total still sold more than vol. 7 in its second week...guess some of the peeps in Japan were too busy/lazy to buy it the first week XD
