Wow. I kind of never updated my profile in a couple years until just a couple days ago and just now noticed this comment. Didn't even remember writing that! XD
That I understand but what I was getting at was that the other member was implying that fugoshi anime doesnt exist or isn't that big of a market. "Fushojis are the future" line just means that we might be getting more and more fugoshi shows. Which isnt just an opinion. We will have more anime aimed at females but it will still pale in comparison. Besides we are looking to deep into the statement that its the future. It will be more prevalent in the future but of course no one believes that the industry will be all fujoshi.
Have you read Blade of the Immortal yet? It has a really well developed cast of characters with surprisingly great characterization and psychological themes, which seems to be something you enjoy a lot

Hey!
Not that I know of. Usually sales data related to TV Anime is of more interest to the Japanese sales community, which is why you also don't see any sales related data about the Ghibli movies on the DVD/BD wiki for example.
For the Spirited Away Movie, there are 3 different releases of interest. We have:
● The BD on July 16, 2014, which charted for 49 weeks. According to the Oricon BD extended list, it sold between 20,024 and 20,172 copies.
● The DVD on July 19, 2002, which charted for 464 weeks. Last known sales is 2,401,992 copies at 457 weeks, so 7 weeks of sales is missing.
● The Digitally Remastered DVD on July 16, 2014, which charted for 50 weeks. According to the DVD extended list, it sold between 16,462 and 16,529 copies.
So a lower bound of 2,438,478 copies for Spirited Away. Frozen is at 2,404,377 after 61 weeks, so Frozen has probably surpassed the original 2002 DVD release, but has a fair way to go to catch up to the Spirited Away lower bound of sales. Of course if it can chart for around 60~70 more weeks, then surely it would've surpassed it by then.
Thx mate :D Thats a really tough question. Hmm, I would say Sanji or Kid from One Piece and in Hisoka or Killua from HxH. So who are your favourites of these 2.

Well the ones with the punctuation got indexed.
So there's quite a bit of data available in the wayback machine.
Regarding FMA:B, while it was at 9.26 at one point, it was also at 9.25 a year ago also.
