'The iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls' Gets Second Season

The official Twitter account of The iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls revealed that a second season of the anime will air this Summer. The first season is currently airing and will finish at 13 episodes on April 11.

The iDOLM@STER, which originally aired for two cours in 2011, will also be re-broadcast this year. The first cours will air during Spring and the second during Fall. This results in a full year of iM@S anime broadcasts which is part of the franchise's "Excellent Year" announcements. 2015 marks the 10th anniversary of the series, originally released as an arcade game in July 2005.

As long as it's good then I'm fine with it, obviously there's no way to properly give everyone a fair amount of screentime in just 13 episodes of season 1.

It's better they take their time and split it than air some rushed work with mediocre quality. At least I prefer it this way and don't mind waiting one or two seasons for it especially since this isn't a show where you end on a giant cliffhanger where you can't wait for the continuation.
Even if it was planned as 2 cour from the start it's nice to have a confirmation. They could have simply cancelled it for any reasons (like their busy schedule for example...).

If you ask some fans its already too little too late and its not to maintain or boost the quality but too keep it from falling even lower. If you ask other peolle though everything A-1 animates is absolutely stunningly beautiful and they're forever blown away so again amazing how this fanbade has anything but a clear standard. Everything is always so polarizing and then you get people that me that just find most stuff mediocre or something I'm indifferent too. I think I'd relate a lot more to people if everything wasn't always treated like a tremendously big deal one way or another cause usually its not, its just business as usual in every sense of the word.
