| The official Twitter account of The iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls revealed that a second season of the anime will air this Summer. The first season is currently airing and will finish at 13 episodes on April 11. The iDOLM@STER, which originally aired for two cours in 2011, will also be re-broadcast this year. The first cours will air during Spring and the second during Fall. This results in a full year of iM@S anime broadcasts which is part of the franchise's "Excellent Year" announcements. 2015 marks the 10th anniversary of the series, originally released as an arcade game in July 2005. | I heard something on Yaraon about this being split cour before the announcement. Hopefully it has a new cast with Nina in the main cast heck if not Nina add Arisu (who just got a voice) or Kozue who's in top 100. Redeem yourselves A-1 for the disappointment I had to suffer through, the series got better though. |

| What a relief! This is definitely good news, because I found by chance today that this season would end in a few episodes more, and I simply couldn't see a "full ending" in so little episodes... I mean, this story can still develop much more! It will be a bit hard to wait until summer, but I think I'll watch Wake Up Girls in the meantime! |

| I'm loving the PR spin here, Aniplex always getting the instant news and softball spin as always. Since I know nobody is going to any actual research I think its worth mentioning that the show was always planned as 2 cour but it was planned to be continuous. A-1 is just so overloaded with crap to try to animate that they're way behind schedule and not even a week off was good enough to help so they are now splitting it up and doing reruns of the original. The way people roll over for this company no doubt they'll see it as they are doing them some kind of favor, but nope its just bad scheduling. After all isn't all news great and cause for celebration. Everything is equally great and everything is perfectly okay with this industry. No problems anywhere to be seen no sir. Lets all cheer on this great industry that totally cares about us and our satisfaction. |

It's better they take their time and split it than air some rushed work with mediocre quality. If you ask other peolle though everything A-1 animates is absolutely stunningly beautiful and they're forever blown away so again amazing how this fanbade has anything but a clear standard. Everything is always so polarizing and then you get people that me that just find most stuff mediocre or something I'm indifferent too.
