| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Lol amusing episode. The guys and girls actually go outdoors for a little trip. No wonder there's more fan service than usual with the swimsuits. Too bad there's still trouble as usual. I find this show's character interactions to be strange at times but kinda works in regards to the unusual humor still. Gridman just can't catch a break no matter where he is. |

| So I guess this was the "mandatory beach episode", huh. I mean, it had swimwear, fanservice, and exposed skin, so it was close enough if you ask me. I really liked the touch of Utsumi being "pudgy", it was cute, since the main characters somehow always have killing bodies with abs, it was refreshing. Calibur, and his friends having to the take the Junk to the scene was nice too; just like the Kaiju. I'm no Tokusatsu expert, but this one had a different feel to it, and it wasn't only because of its size, I don't know, it was like a colossal, primitive beast, it was really cool. Anti also cares about Akane despite her abuse, and she got Yuuta with the transforming bit. At least she is convinced that it is him, the story is certainly progressing. |

| Classic beach episode. The episode was pretty okay but it is obvious right now that they need to do something new next time. 10 minutes SoL followed by Gridman owning Kaiju with an extension is getting stale.
