Overlord with Pandoras actor for example ( I just watched a clip of that).

From Myanmar. And I'm really surprised when my country got referenced in Haiyore! Nyaruko-san (can't remember when) and Re;Creators episode 1 when the MC's tablet got error and show gibberish words (some words are my country's language). I thought mine's a no-name country.

Gyakusatsu Kikan is partly situated in Prague, Czech republic.

There were even some easter eggs in the movie like Czech metro announcements and such. The audience in the cinema had a good laugh about some of the references.

Edit: Lol, literally five minutes after I posted this I found out that the opening of UzaMaid has a Czech countdown at the beginning. That's what I call randomness.

Actually a lot references to my country but I don't remember them all.
There is a place in D.Gray-man that is inspired by, that guy with the nutcracker mentioned in Black Lagoon, there is a folklore song in Omoide Poroporo (along with the hungarian one) ect.

There is a funny story behind the vocals in the Ghost In The Shell 1995 music.
The composer wanted to use some folklore singers from my country but they refused to sing his score and insisted they would do only authentic stuff. So he made some recordings an then took them to japanese singers and said "Listen to this! I want you to perform with the same intonation but by my notes!".

Am from the land of the free, and there are tons of references to America in anime, although I can't think of any specific references at the moment.

The biggest standout reference to America for me though is Part 7 of JJBA, where the setting is America. Although that is just a manga so idk if it even counts.

Black Lagoon has the Philippines as a terrorist hotbed (bless the fact that this show is set in SEA).

And then Yokokuhan. IIRC, their friend was a half-Filipino bastard (can't remeber if he fell through the cracks of the Ninchi system; have to reread that manga again).

I am from portugal and while there aren't that many references to Portugal in anime I believe and know for a fact that a hundred words in japanese are taken from Portuguese :) including Present that it is not that wikipedia glossary - presentu or something like that...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glossary_of_Japanese_words_of_Portuguese_origin

After searching... there are some animes with portuguese influences

Tamayura: More aggressive
Mobile Suit Gundam SEED (Martin daCosta)
Uchouten Kazoku (ep. 3) they say that Oporto wine is used to fly that ships.. nice anime
Beelzebub (ep. 13) (pasteis de belem)
"Chrno Crusade" they speak about Mary and our lady of Fatima

Of course, me being in the United States also means this applies:
