| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Even though the time machine got destroyed, it looks like Okabe is still retaining his mad scientist personality/gimmick so that's cool to see. Along with Maho and Daru, he isn't willing to give up. Even at this point in the series, there's still some amusnig moments imo like the part with Okabe and Maho. She's just too short! More or less a buildup for the finale. The Amadeus and Okabe scenes were also tense and heartwarming. |

| No OP and ED (sort of) and I cried so much in the end. Kurisu calling out on HK in the end was sad Screw you, and in front of HK. D-rine and they ended up in the Alpha World-line.      |

| woow thank you Chiyo, can't wait to have the fucking true ending locked in a fucking DVD release that would get an English translation after half an year later The second revival was kinda unnecessary and felt forced. I hated the TA ending from the VN, it doesn't make sense, glad they fixed it here. But I really liked how they linked the events and the D-Rine though. The VN never felt like it had a proper continuity. |

| Christinaaaaa!! What a great episode, very emotional from the very beginning with chuunibyou Okabe, Kurisu and Okabe's scene and Amadeus being erased. They used the opening of the vn for the ending and I loved that scene a lot, very sad, enmotional and simply beautiful. A really a great use of the soundtrack in the entirety of the episode. 5/5 Last episode... |

| Another great anime original episode (even though it was technically Twin Automata the whole time?)! I know how this ends because of the VN but how the anime'll get to that point... Hm... Also we have the D-RINE, but this time sent to Daru apparently(?). Well then what the heck was on Okarin's phone in episode 4 if it WASN'T the D-RINE?! Yeah at this rate we ain't gonna be seeing that expanded version of Milky-Way Crossing that the VN needed. Heck we might not even see Milky-Way Crossing at all unless it's the OVA! |

| Really good episode. The evening walk was already so heart wrenching and a nice build up for the farewell. I always dig slow and melancholic episodes like this. RIP Amadeus :/ |

| at the end, did he mean he will meet Amadeus again after reaching "that place" or did he mean the original Kurisu? I mean, shouldn't he return to the place where he has to go back in time again to reach the Steins gate timeline? Also does anyone know the name of the song at the end? |

| Such a slow and boring episode. Do they realize that there's only 1 episode left? And all this just so Mayuri can go back in time and slap Okabe. FFS It looks pretty clear at this point that they're scrapping the entire D-mail thing and this Okabe will just wait 10 years and send the video to his S1 self. There's nothing they can do anymore except cram all this into 1 last rushed episode. Huge disappointment and I actually liked the 0 VN more than the original. This is just a bad adaptation. |

| Freaking RIP Amadeus T__T in a way this is the second time Okabe has to sacrifice Kurisu for a greater good. Okabe, for the most part, was already over it by the end by I felt bad for Mahou who was in tears the whole time. Anyway, next week is the finale. |

| I disliked the previous episode, but I think this was much better. Didn't rush 3k time leaps at least :v Watching Okabe getting real about his persona was a really nice touch too, better done in this episode than yesterday and liked the way it was going. I got kinda lost towards the end though haha. Sometimes I feel like they are dumping some random information and you're supposed to just understand everything. I'll figure it out though. Definitely a good episode this one. Kinda weird how only 1 episode remains. It doesn't seem to be enough time. Also, I couldn't care that much about Amadeus. Only reason I liked her was cause she was like Kurisu and if I get the real version, well... bye bye, AI programme! |

Anyway considering most of the content I liked in the novel was from routes they chose not to adapt (or just decided to cut out from the main route), the anime was a huge disappointment. I wanted the Russia world line, the stuff with Moeka in Maho's route and the Maho romance from the main route which seems to have mostly been cut (or handled horribly if the intent was to leave it in). I'm pretty sure they left out that whole thing with Yuki too (unless they shove it into the last episode). Instead they'd rather focus on characters repeating the same shit over and over again about how Okabe keeps running away and needs to act like a retard again rather than think things through logically. It's so annoying and repetitive. Thank Christ the novel still exists so I can replay that some day. |

| It was a little drawn out in the beginning with a second reappearance of Kyouma but there were some good scenes between Okarin and Amadeus in this one. Now there's only one episode left so I hope it can finish strong at least. |

VA from the VN wasn't the last world line before MWC, the anime shows these last world lines instead. | That last scene was such a tear-jerker, loved it! I liked Amadeus and Okabe in this episode, reminded me a lot of the time they spent together in Steins;Gate. Can't believe it's already over next week. Looking forward to the conclusion. |

| I have very strong mixed feelings about this episode. There is one side, where the conversation with Okabe and Amadeus was beautiful and the ending where she shut down was pretty sad for the heart. And there is another side, that makes me feel underwhelmed with the content for a penultimate episode and the first half of the episode wasn't that great. I'll still call it a good episode since I did feel sad and emotional, but this was nowhere close to the original's for me. |

It's a book that came out with the Japanese special edition. It also has a FAQ section, some of it was translated on reddit but can't find a link right now. It basically said something in the lines of: Maho still uses western mannerisms and western people are more open to touching/hugging/etc as greetings/goodbye, and the feelings between Maho/Okabe are more of professional/colleagues than a love couple. |

| I really loved the moment where Okabe hoisted Maho up so that she can write on the whiteboard. She gave Okabe and Daru the 'slipper slap' treatment. XD Still, the emotions were on the rollercoaster throughout the episode. We had that funny moment I mentioned, along with Okabe's random 'whoosh' during his Hououin Kyoma stance again, which was utter brilliance. Then we had the somber moment between Okabe and [Kurisu] at night, exploring Tokyo and, of course, the strong Twin Automata vibe during the last few minutes of the episode. The last part did get me a little choked up though, also part to the Amadeus song playing as the ending song again. =) I'm now wondering how episode 23 is going to end, as well as the upcoming OVA. It could go in a couple of directions, but I'm hoping White Fox nails it for the finale, at least. =D |

| Ahhh Why does Kurisu have to sacrifice herself again :( During the all-night out scene, it was warming my heart and a throwback to showing Kurisu around the city. I hope the ending is fantastic and will be looking forward to it. The end of the episode almost teared me up. This episode was perfect! |

I thought 0 this was basically gonna end with Steins;Gate episode 24 with Okabe sending the message back to himself but let's see I guess. R.I.P Amadeus. :( |
