| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I saw this at Anime Boston today. It was really cute, and surprisingly funny! The animation in the flying scenes was just as beautiful as we saw in the PV. The way that she pilots the dragon is interesting, too. This is definitely one to keep an eye on in this season. Also, this show is a mecha. Change my mind. |
| This was great! Saw it at AB too, feels very Mari Okada with the script but in a good way. Visually pretty much every aspect was perfect from animation to chara designs to dragon designs. Also, vore and vaping. |

| Dang, this was pretty interesting. I'm especially interested in the world this anime takes place in after seeing the presence of dragons. The military themes is also interesting to look at with a lot of the character outfits. I'm interested in knowing more about the main characters too especially Hisone. Also kinda liked the comedic segments through in for the episode. Pretty much a set up episode but I sense a lot of potential in this. |

| @twilight10_x No one; Netflix will release it in July, assuming it's 1-cour. Or they might delay it extra months like they did Kakegurui. I'll just wait and watch it on Netflix, but as noted above you can pirate a fansubbed version if you choose. |

| This was a decent, but interesting first episode. I find it really cool that a dragon can transform into a fighter jet. A pilot has to be swallowed in order to fly it lol. The dragon is quite cute. I'm liking the characters. |

| Really great first episode. Hisone was so nice to see but I felt a bit sad for her when kept on getting swallowed. I really adore the cute artstyle, especially for the dragon. And the music was really pleasant too. This is definitely the underdog show of the season. |

But wait, you're saying to me that, that is designated "position" to pilot that mecha-dragon ? Well ... But i like the MC girl, and it really felt like "Get in the fucking Dragon!" all the time. I was looking forward to this and still i am, but the first episode kinda left bad impression on me. Will continue of course. Also Netflix get a grip. |

| I am sorry Mahoutsukai no Yome, but you just got served! Wooooow that was GOOD! HISONE! GET IN THE DRAGON! Well now, looks like we found a character that suits Okada's writing style, an MC who likes running her mouth. And we got jets! Based Kawamori and his jets! The art is simplistic, but the animation is simply amazing. I'm guessing this to be the sleeper hit of the season. Let's go! |

| Not gonna lie, this is probably my favorite first episode of the entire season. Even more so than Megalo box. What I really enjoyed was the dialogue between the characters. Especially when Hisone got mad at everyone and was ranting. You can definitely notice Mari Okada's writing style which is a good thing. Hope this gains more ground. Definitely better than the anime it is grouped with. |

This is probably about quality assurance and being able to provide their audience with a dubbed version if wanted to make it more widely appealing to a more general audience. Of course it'd be better if they compromised on that to be able to stream the show week for week while it airs like with Violet imo, so hopefully, they'll do that eventually. They must be aware of how much many people care about watching a show while it airs and while the discussion's still hot. |
