My eye did not see big difference between 1st season and 3rd season. because the 1st season was riddled with stuff like this:  I'm pretty sure they're gonna keep adapting it with the same quality as the 3rd season. not that the 3rd season's animation was anything spectacular but at least it was consistent with no real cringeworthy flaws. |

I usually do not notice those stuff when I watch anime, and has almost no impact on my enjoyment. |

Death Busters was an improvement, but there still was wonky art and the pacing was still bad--not as bad as with the first Crystal, but it was still a chore to trek through every week. Toei has a history of bad pacing, so that's to be expected. I purposefully went into Crystal blind without checking out the original series, and honestly, I just haven't been impressed with it at all. This new season probably isn't going to change that even if it ended up having the best animation in the world. But at least it's still not a biweekly stream. ...right? |

They could fix the barebones manga plot though. As for the news, it was obvious from start that they're doing the entire thing, makes no sense just adapting first three arcs. |
