| I'm liking Sasaki much more after this episode. Who knew that his obsession with emails actually seriously revelates his past? As expected from Gorilla Nobume crying was unexpected, I'm curious as how this whole thing will end... considering we have like 4 episodes left T^T |

| GENERAL ISAO! Newly wed but his woman was pregnant. Very fast "character development" Madafacking Matsudaira is super badass! amazing old man They struggle and struggle but they won't die. Katsura and Kondo will be alive, it's not easy to taken down bakas! Kondo looks too fresh though without his beard and spiked hair though lol HOLY SHIT HIJIKATA WHAT THE FUCK!!!!! Ayy we be playing games with the Mimawarigumi YOO GINTOKI LOOKING VICIOUS!! Pu55ys will never beat Samurai, Gintoki and his team will never go down. The drop in art quality and animation is real. But it doesn't matter, as long as I can see GinTama I'm fine. Sasaki's family ruined. Fucking airships coming, people's hands and legs are enough to take down a few airships. The Samurai are better than some fucking machines. The crows from Toriko making an appearance next week. GinTama always keeping that parody up Good episode, the ending felt like it was cut short. Doesn't matter GinTama is GinTama and I'm fine just watching it. 3.8/5 |

| The PV, don't tell me it's who I think it is... So Isaburo had that kind of past. Him running to meet his wife was such a great scene. Also, Nobume as a child, too cute. Not to mention her being fond of donuts even back then. |

| Finally got to see the episode, had been busy in the past few days. Anyway great backstory, now it feels like Sasaki has become an important character and not just 'another' side character. Damn all these characters really have depth. Animation and art were great, didn't notice any hiccups this time. Just three episodes to go :'( Praland said: Well, they rushed it, didn't they? | I've read this part on manga but still felt bad for Sasaki when I watched this. Decent animation on this episode, overall good pacing to build the atmosphere when they started viewing Isaburo's backstory, and simply the best part on this episode imo. Next, the Shinigami will make his revealing for the first time. |

| Goddamn. I can't put into words how satisfying this episode was. I've been wondering for so long why Sasaki's doing all these. I was wondering, what's in it for him? Why's he so eager and determined to end the Shinsengumi or the Samurai era all in all? That flashback was enlightening. Who would've thought he's one of the people who sacrificed the most. |

| Wow, even Sasaki wanted to do something rightful but the way he did them wasn't the right one. So of course, things wouldn't go his way. Nobume crying in the end was unexpected. A girl with almost no emotions shed tears. The Bakufu joined the battle and everything is getting bombed. Sasaki's past was interesting and it's good to know his real motives and the rest. |

So, Sasaki also wants to destroy the country/Bakufu. He should've worked with Shinsuke from the start. They could've succeeded. |
| They should have let nobunobu die but they saved shinsengumi thanks to not letting that happens argh! So Sasaki was basically only playing a villain role to bait out naraku/tendoshu Still not enough to make me like him even with his tragic backstory That said i Never disliked him anyway more neutral than anything |

| More flashback for the Shinsengumi and especially Sasaki with Nobume damn it's sad for his family and it explains why he's acting like that basically sacrificing himself while he wasn't a villain from the roots, now it's still up to the several fights all going at once, though Kagura stopped Sougo and Nobume's fight hmm |
