| ...Finally, it's over. The arc got dragged out for too many episodes, though I understand that they're trying not to catch up with the manga. I love Hijikata and I love Tosshi, but not this in-between personality. Many times in the arc I felt annoyed by his behavior. I think it's because he was missing what I liked about both Tosshi(his cowardliness) and Hijikata(his... Hijikata-ness. I can't think of a word to describe it right now). I don't know. Looking forward to a new ED. I didn't like Asa Answer one bit. I always skip it. |
| YES!!!! THIS ARC FINALLY ENDED!!!!!! GOODBYE OTSU!!!!!!! I'll dearly miss Tosshi though... LOL! BUT NOT TO WORRY!!! Hijikata is now 100% overflowing with manliness = AWESOMELY HAWT!!! XP! I liked Shinpachi without his glasses too... But I thought he was totally blind without his glasses? Cause during the Kyubei arc (Saving Otae arc) he had to get back his glasses to fight rite? Oh well... XP! |

| Hmm, this arc was quite good, however 7 episodes were way too many for it. I liked the randomness of this arc, but in the last few episodes it was less enjoyable IMO. And anime obviously caught up with the manga, since we get to see more and more time dragging parts. At least some of them are actually are hilarious. |
| The ending was OK. No more Toshi for now and Taka-tin also :( And the extra segment is just hilarious. That's why I like Gintama. :D |

| Not the best ending the the arc in my opinion. However, it was funny so whatevs. Really didn't like the 'omake'. xD. I got bored throughout the middle. Kind of a drag to watch, especially when you watch a lot of episodes in a row. |

When they spend SEVEN fucking episodes on this ridicules arc, they could at least explain more of what actually happened! (Especially when they have so much time to spare) By the way, the way it presented Hijikata's alter ego was fundementally flawed: At the end of the Shinsengumi Crisis arc, it's implied that Hijikata and Toshii have merged into one person, he mastered the demon sword and settled their different personalities, but here's it's portrayed as being a "seperate entitity" that he's locked away and must get rid of... How can he get rid of a part of himself? That's not nearly as interesting and takes away some of the development from the SC arc! |

| EPIC simply epic battle scene(s) and hilarious ending This is definitely one of the best (story) episodes in Gintama . Number 1 episode in Gintama has to be the 1 about sandpaper and yoda (so far) , (when their all wearing plates and have to smash the plates they're wearing) |

| That "4 years old's" drawing of Hijikata and Gin-chan LOL just like that one cover idea they had in one of the recap episodes. But during the main time of this episode the Otsu arc came to a close. This arc was down right filled with comedy that had me laughing nonstop for entire episodes. This arc is now one of my favorites! |

| I knew exactly what the four year old's drawing was gonna be, but it was still hilarious and the best part of the episode. The arc had a random gem (Ep 160), but was mediocre on the whole. Glad it's over. |
| Well even with that weird and rather boring beginning of this arc the ending was pretty decent! Lets see what Gintama has to offer next! |

| First 2 episodes were meh, next 3 were fucking hilarious, and the last 2 were meh again. The only funny part of this episode was the filler at the end. |

| Hijikata clearly says "what if he comes back?" when talking about Toshi at the end, which is basically the filler staff's way of saying "OK, we killed Toshi to fill up seven episodes, but if the manga writer decides to revive him, we're not going to take the risk and say he's completely dead now." And I love how honest Gintama is about buying time. They don't beat around the bush, they just straight up tell you they're doing nothing but buying time and somehow make an entertaining 7 minute long segment about coming up with new ways to buy time. |

| man, that boxing fight was just... marvelous. It was breath-taking! It reminded me so much of one of my most favorite shows, Hajime no Ippo. I even thought they'd make a parody of dempsey roll but too bad they didn't. |

| The explanation of the card was just hilarious..getting pregnant and married. XD They are fighting now? Hajime no Ippo WTF? Unexpected to see blood in this crazy arc. o_o Gooosebumps all over! The fighting scenes were BA as hell!! Seriously, the last episode of this arc is such a twister. Its like, this arc served as more character development for Toushi. Whoa. :3 And at the next scene, we see Toushi paying respect to "Toushi"...so weird. I kinda liked how they concluded this arc with Yamazaki's POV/narration. This guy is underrated. The end credits were priceless as always. Gintoki and Toushi drawing. XD So...this means no more Taka-tin? :( |

| finally the arc is end! I don't hate otsu chan but this arc was too much for me tbh. I'd rather seeing more katsuraaaaaa!! wonder that guy who is he again? gintoki's friend who likes travel the space. never see him on any episode so far only on opening song lol. yosh let's see the next episode! |

| The Toshi vs. Shinpachi fight was great, especially the animation. Out of all major arcs, this is probably the weakest, but it's still decent. It's even worth a rewatch because of Taka-tin! 4/5 |

| Finally done with this arc lol, it wasn't really that bad. It was pretty funny this time. xD I didn't expect this from a long ass Otsu arc lol. |
