| Medaka looks soo badass when she's brainwashed, but it was good and a little touching how Zenkichi helped Medaka come to her senses again and to get some backstory on how they first met. Awesome episode anyway, can't wait until next week. |

| Dang, people, shut up! Yes, Kumagawa appears in this episode, big deal - and apparently they do nothing to reflect the brackets in his speech. Sure, we have subtitles to do it ourselves, but I'm still disappointed. Also, I hoped for a sneak peek at but oh well. Also, what's with that line "This was the last time I saw that boy"? It totally wasn't! Sure, they probably mean to suggest Medaka didn't recognize Kumagawa when they... "met" in middle school, but heck, the boy had a name tag and she had a perfect memory. They did all that in just one episode, huh. Leaves me wondering what they're going to fill the remaining two with. |

I was wondering the same thing, but then again he wasn't being observed by a doctor or such when Medaka came barging in the room. So maybe that was just a waiting room for children? Still the situation is kind of fishy. Maybe he is an abnormal even though they specifically said throughout this series that he was perfectly normal. This episode was really good. My expectations were low because I expected a far more cliche ep, but it was ok. I love the flackbacks to their childhood time. Now we understand why the relatonship between Medaka and Zenkichi is so strong. Btw do the manga readers suggest picking up the manga for this series? If there is alot of information and scenes left out in the anime, then I will most likely pick up the manga. But I don't know if that is the case or not. |
