| Date-san said something about how nothing has changed in six months, and he remembers that building and found the medicine fairly quickly. Meaning he was a survivor from the last game six months ago. What if Date-san was the one that betrayed Murasaki-san? What if he was the one that collected 6 chips with her and then tried to kill her before being rescued by the helicopter? He was using the same tactic with the gang this time round too. I'm surprised he tried to cut ties with them so soon. I wouldn't be surprised if there's an awkward encounter with Murasaki and Date in a future episode... :) |

In Murasaki's flashback she referred to the doctor as "Date", and then he shows up at the end of the episode. There was never any question about him being the same guy lol. |

| So we've reached the point where I dropped the manga. Now I'm in the dark about what's going to happen. I like the development. I kind of remember the manga making a big deal of Date being secretly a bad guy for several chapters... Here they made it quick, as should be, after all we can only take so much stupidity of our protagonist. And I don't agree it should have been a showdown, a one-to-one battle. We've just had a good one (dang, forgot about that "never approaching the trunk" thing, that was nice) and Sakamoto is not really the type to fight directly. Oddly enough, the shadow guy from the intro, the one who works in the crazy gaming company was long introduced at this point in the manga, wasn't he? Are they keeping him to be the big reveal in the anime? That's kinda weird. |

| Oda is such a badass, I really hope that he and Sakamoto will reunite in some way. I'm liking him even more after this episode. Next episode should also be very good. I wonder how this'll end. It should get a second season imo, the last thing I want is a rushed, crappy ending. |

| You know what, the strings remind me of Journey's soundtrack, anyone else? | I hate to admit it, but Date has proved to be the most entertaining character. What a bastard! I love that we already knew how bad he is since before he appeared, then we just wait for his inevitable betrayal. Exciting stuff~ |

| Oh God Sakamoto is so stupid. He's lucky he's a main, otherwise he'd be dead by episode 2. Himiko was yelling that he has to drop the trunk and he's just standing there waiting for God knows why. Also, I loled when Himiko and Sakamoto were talking and he was like "you need to trust people in order for them to trust you"... yeah but YOU'RE ON ISLAND WHERE PEOPLE ARE DYING TO COME BACK TO THEIR NORMAL LIVES. Not sure if you can trust anyone. tbh If I were on that island I wouldn't trust anyone. I'd probably just hide somewhere and wait for my death by starvation. But I definitely wouldn't trust anyone. |

| I don't find Sakamoto as annoying as some other dumb main characters lol but damn he has so many slow moments!! In this situation if your friend is yelling at you to drop the trunk you don't even stop to think about it! Plus when he was saying "the only way to survive here is to trust people" it's like... nah, I think that's the OPPOSITE of what you should be doing, as a rule :p I feel like Murasaki might end up sacrificing herself to save Himiko :( Shame, I like her. She better at least take down that douchebag doctor with her! |

| Was interesting to see that Sakamoto and Oda had a background with each other. And of course ypical reason for men to fight with each other -> always a woman. I didn't expect Sakamoto to freak out like this, but I could see why he react like this. It was shown in a very good way when Aika he liked liked Odas fingers with a pretty pervert look. This doctor.....holy shit. He's so fucking annoying and now he showed his true face. In that situation I don't see how Sakamoto should had survived this. Next episode the reunion between Date and Shiki (I always think of One Piece when I see this name haha). |
